After being housebound for the last 2 weeks following a bit of a health scare, and with another 2 weeks off from work I was keen to get out and about for a bit of activity. Came for the quick virtual that was published yesterday, stayed for the traditional cache that took me deep into the hollow. I had no idea how big this place was. A fave from me. Hi karenmello, SmplyR3dd has found your cache RIBBIT RIBBIT on 19 Aug 2024 at 10:44.Logs on micro caches may be signed as SR.SmplyR3dd thanks you for placing this cache for me to find. This find brings my find count to 6620.
Several metres from where gps took me to. But managed to log the change amongst the frogs. TFTC.
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 48 - Katanning to Bunbury via Kojonup, Boyup Brook, Donnybrook and Bonyanup. Yet another day that was too long and I should have split in two, but due to bookings could not. It only rained while I was trying to cache in Donnybrook. There were a few roadside caches there were a few short walks and way too many machinery caches, but I did find some of them. The day got away from me and I did not do everything on my over ambitions list. I made it to Bunbury and got set up just before dark. I did not get out for the evening, so had a nice night cooking dinner and planning my next few days while I am in Bunbury for a week.So many frogs ! You could just here them all croaking at you, silently in my head. The huge old logs at GZ were very impressive. The cache was soon seen and signed. Thanks for the cache karenmello47681.10 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & Geocaching License A#219**Albida**
Cache replaced and active 14/05/24. Pupil free day for grandies so took the opportunity!
Ribbit Ribbit seems to have hopped off into the abyss. Three DNFs and two searches by Gran and the grandies were to no avail. Will replace again during April school holidays. Thanks for your patience Ribbit!
Not sure if it's been moved or taken but didn't find it. Or it was just us not able to find it haha.
Woohoo we located our missing cache wayyyy out of place. Retrieved, repaired and replaced in the correct location.
Cache went AWOL for a month or two but my 5yo granddaughter finally found it after 4 visits. We had the help of fellow geocacher Copwats who logged it after being disabled. Finally retrieved, repaired and replaced in the correct location. Enjoy our cache at beautiful Frogs Hollow. Karenmello and the grandies
this mint tin was found at frogs hollow and log signed, it was sitting on a log in the open and had also been signed yesterday found with cakefinders on their holiday from England cache has definitely not croaked it TFTC
Our frogs and cache appear to have been removed and stolen
Will replace during April school holidays.

Awesome, 2 out of 2 for the day. More finds today than the last 3 days. On holiday with missgoosey and lidds.
Nice hide must be one of the strangest I’ve been too with all of the frogs TFTC
I muggled this cache a few moths back when visiting frogs hollow with a friend. I had no idea what it was for but my friend was clued in & thus began our alter egos geoleapers & hollowfrog. So we are back to officially claim this find. Thanks karenmello and the Grandies for the introduction we are hooked!!
Cheers R&R

Heading to Donnybrook and noticed this cache was on the way, so we stopped to look for it, lots of different frogs sitting around, cache was found, log signed and placed back as found with no muggles about. Cheers from N.Z.
Found by accident a few months ago as a muggle. This spiked our interest in caching. Our journey to start properly followed not long after . Had to come back to log. R&R
After having a ball or two (or more than a few) at one geocache I headed for this one next. Like the last I had no idea what I was heading into. Perhaps I should pay attention to the description more. So when I pulled up I saw interesting things, and thought the cache easily spotted.
As I approached I saw the feature repeated in so many ways and so many places. I was thinking photos will be good - but cache first.
I followed the GPSr to a spot that did not seem right, then the GPSr came to the conclusion I’d come too far. Back I went to a logical place. I peered into a few places to see naught but a frog. But in one, I saw the cache.
Then I wandered around taking plenty of photos, before heading home, other places to be, people to see.

Staying in Boyup Brook, we decided to do a trip to Donnybrook via Mumballup, then back through Balingup and Bridgetown. We stopped here to find the cache and were amazed at the number of frogs. So many frogs and just one cache, which we found.
We did a bit of wandering, but we managed to find it! Very fun experience and the frogs are so cute!!
Took a while, couldn't find the frogs in all the frogs. Had to resort to GPS. Ziplock is a bit worse for wear.
Have lived near here 7 years and would've never known of the frogs hollow if it wasn't for this cache

Great little place , wish we had a frog to add to thr collection . Favourite point from us
While the interstate travel is still a bit iffy we decided to spend the time touring southern WA.
What an amazing place, somewhere to rival Gnomesville in the future. We only stopped to get the cache but ended up staying for 30 minutes. I thought the cache container may have been a mint tin made up to look like a frog..
It gets a favourite from me
This was find number 6 for the day.

This location has to be seen to be believed. The efforts that have been made to create a them park at Frog Hollow are superb. Kids (young ones and older ones like us) would have a wonderful time here. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Karenmello and the Grandies for the cache.
Quick find today with thisis2010 came to see Frog hollow then thought I wonder if there is a cashe here

We were out for a lovely drive today and we stopped off for a few caches along the way. [^]
Enjoyed finding this one, so many cute frogs, I could have stayed for much longer.
Thought the cache could have taken a very long time to find, but I just happened to look in the right place and there it was.
Thanks for the cache karenmello and the Grandies and for showing me this lovely place.

Catching up on some missing online logs.
The Better Half and I had been staying with friends at a cabin in Bridgetown and now heading home via Wellington Mill doing some odd caches along the way.
Cache was found only after a very tedious search as the device had ground zero more than 15m away. Log signed and cache returned as found.
Thanks karenmello and the Grandies for placing this cache for us to find.

Gps a bit off but leapfrogged my way to a find eventually Thanks for the cache and showing me Frogs Hollow
Out and about with Barnzy12 getting a few smily faces today.
The main aim was to get another oldie however with and early rise there was enough time To detour. Great to see the continuation of the heading south series now being published and also great to see some of the back roads and great bush lands.
Thanks karenmello for placing and maintaining this cache, it was a great day out with a couple dozen finds, TFTH

Headed south today with Cravo10 towards the Greater Nannup area with the main goal of picking up one of WAs oldest caches “willow giants” GC3190. We made plenty of stops along the way and with an early start we had plenty of time for detours.
We travelled many backroads and saw some really cool sights, our highlight of the day apart from willow giants was the town of Donnelly river, which I am really keen to come back to with the family.
Thanks to all the COs today, we had a great day out.

Thanks for taking us here nice stop to break up the trip on the way home. I would never have stopped and discovered all of the frogs if not for the cache
We pass by this spot regularly but had no idea this little attraction was here. Great frog spotting. Thanks karenmello and the grannies for bringing us here.
All credit goes to our Jnr cacher finding this one!
Favourite in memory of “my bullfrog” who we miss so very much! RIP JZF xx

Since this one still hadn't been found Rach and I decided if it still hadn't been after we finished our individual tasks for the morning we'd take a drive.
I got home from the shops, Rach sent a message to say she was ready and off we went. A lovely drive to GZ, who wouldn't love the countryside.
Wow what an area and such lovely froggies. Rach got excited with some orchids out in flower. We did a lap and then I looked more closely in a spot and there was the cache.
Woohoo joint *FTF* with Rach2 at about 10.30am. After signing duties were done it was time to check out the frogs more closely.
TFTC and worthy of a fav point for bring us to this lovely location.
