The GeoBikes were still on the back of the car so this morning we decided to head to Kings Park and surrounds, using the bikes where parking was problematic and to cycle some of the foreshore. The foreshore was problematic with much of the path closed for repairs. [B)]

Finally we moved over to QEII and PCH but things took way longer than we had hoped there. OOps.

A fun filled long day and managed to get 'home' after dark. Happy Easter!

Found only using the spoiler pic which made for a quick find then. [:o)]

I have previously posted a DNF here after a long and unsuccessful search. Today I was back and I thought after being here for 20 minutes it was going to be another DNF. But finally it revealed itself. Hallelujah. I must have been standing next to it for most of the time I was at the location. I reckon the coordinates are just about spot on. Thanks for placing this cache here in a beautiful location along the river.

Well this is the appropriately named cache we hunted for tonight, was just about to call it quits when ICN called out found it.
• • • • •

A Tuesday night event allows for extra caching time and I grabbed SirFancy on my way home from work, grabbed the cache gear and headed out to the Aubin Grove area collecting finds and chatting to a couple of muggles before making our way to Cockburn for the event.
After dinner Meme28 & I C Nothing joined us and we headed up to Nedlands to clear a few of the new caches that have popped up over the year.
A fun night out had me collecting 22 finds, 1 event attended and 1 DNF.

After popping into the city to visit a retail store I headed home NOR the long way so I could pick up a few caches on the way Smile This was one that I stopped off at. Being a Sunday I managed to find a handy spot to leave the car near the dingy club, which only left a short walk along to GZ. The search once there was looooong, not helped at all by the fact I had orientated the spoiler pic incorrectly so spent ages looking in the wrong host. Once the penny dropped that I was looking at the picture from the wrong direction it was a fairly quick find! A sneaky hide indeed. Glad to make the find here! TFTC

07-May-21
It wasn't an instant find, but I very much doubt I ever would have found this little thing were it not for the spoiler pic.

TFTC (and spoiler pic!) .

Quick find here this evening. The spoiler photo made a massive difference to the search and was greatly appreciated. Cheers _DaughtersofEve_! Big Grin

04-Feb-21
I took advantage of my one hour of permitted outdoor exercise during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown to grab a few caches within 5km of home. This one has been on my radar for sometime, and I thought today might be an easier day to find a parking spot nearby. Well I was wrong about that - even with the university closed (I presume) parking along Hackett Drive was insane and the closest I could find was 500m away. Still, a nice walk along the river was had. Finding the cache was quite the mission, despite the spoiler photo. With very strong winds this morning, the cache was eventually found tangled up among the leaves, where it had been blown. TFTC Smile

Took my youngest for an early morning bike ride from Kings Park down to UWA then along the river to the CBD. Couldn't pass by without a look. Didn't take too long once at GZ. TFTC.

Thanks _DaughtersofEve_ for placing and maintaining this cache. Out and about with Barnzy12 getting a few smily faces.

26-Dec-20
We headed to the city to pickup the Colonial Northbridge adventure with the cooler afternoon weather.

Before leaving we noticed a potential FTF that had been unfound for several hours so decided to give that a crack amongst a couple of traditionals in the CBD and then head into the western suburbs to cleanup a few more caches.

Great arvo for it and thanks to the COs for the fun.

Could have been a tough find. Lucky I spotted it quick.

06-Dec-20

Big advantage of searching at night eas that I spotted the reflecting container in about 4s Very Happy
It took much longer to find the logbook that fell off the cache to the grass. But all good. Signed and restoredto its original glory.

28-Oct-20
Took a minute but soon had the little thing in hand. Really nice to search with the water lapping nearby. TFTC

28-Oct-20
One of those caches that you either see straight away, or take ages to spot. I went round the tree a few times before seeing it. Have a favourite point. Thanks DaughtersofEve.

23-Oct-20
That was very sneaky. Thanks for the spoiler or I would never have found it

16-Oct-20
Find 14 of 15 with 2 DNFs on a mountain bike ride from Lake Monger through Subi, Nedlands and the CBD in beautiful spring sunshine.

Was in the right spot all along but the spoiler pic confirmed it and the cache was soon in hand.

TFTC _DaughtersofEve_!

12-Oct-20
I couldn’t get any spoiler to appear so I didn’t know what I was looking for or where. I sent out an SOS to someone to tell me what it looked like. Coordinate ended up being super accurate. Beautiful along the river today although we just came from the beach which I prefer more. Thanks.

11-Oct-20
After seeing this published on Saturday, we decided to come and take a look for it today.

We poked around in the bushes for about 10 minutes but unfortunately had no luck (the phone was out of data so we couldn't load the image!) Coming to the conclusion that we needed the hint to find the cache, we went home and returned a few hours later.

The image certainly helped and allowed us to narrow our search significantly. After establishing what bush the cache was hidden in, geo-son spotted the cache and yelled 'FOUND IT!'. The cache was found!

Thanks for the cache _DaughtersofEve_!

11-Oct-20
Went for a drive North with Chwiliwr to the new adventure lab so detoured back here so I could sign this log. Could see why you could not read the name (of the FTF so much for the water proof pen).
Cache found, signed and replaced as found.

Thanks DaughtersofEve for the hunt.

A quick detour on our way north, but not quick enough. TFTC

10-Oct-20
This cache was published just before I was leaving for the event so diverted off the freeway to come and try for it. Parked nearby and walked over the busy highway to ground zero. Had no trouble finding ground zero but had a bit of trouble finding the cache even after referring to the spoiler. Perhaps I will be better after Tuesday. Log signed, ***legibly***, and cache returned as found. Was *FTF* somewhere between 0830 and 0855 hours.

Thanks _DaughtersofEve_ for placing this cache for me to find.
