Thanks Angus88 for placing Angus visits Port Sorell. Swampy and I headed back to plunder more of the Northern coast over the Hobart Show long weekend. 4 day long weekend for 1 days annual leave. Sweet. This is day 4. We are heading for Launceston via Port Sorell. At least my log is not full of bad 80s references. This run has us finding both GC and GCA caches. So many caches, so little time. This is my GC find #2231 and was found on 27/10/2024 at 10:21FTF: Found with: SwampyWeather: fairMuggles: noneLight level: goodCache condition: goodDistance from GZ: Your cache was visited by my trackables: TB9QQD2, TB9KZ39 and TB7HH81
Hi Angus88. Today we found your cache on the Devo trip for the year. VK7HCH and I hatched yet another plan to whip it up to the north to continue our plundering of caches both GC and GCA. As there are so many caches in this area we had freedom of choice to do those we wished to. We have solved a few puzzles so we can find those and lots of others. Although I didnt find the girl U want, the caches were enough. Its a beautiful world here in Tassie. Thanks for hiding the cache for us to find today. Finding this cache takes my GC finds to 5281 and I found it on Sunday 27 Oct 2024FTF: NoMates: VK7HCHMuggles: Condition: GoodWeather: cloudyMy favorites:Creative - Back to the future 1 by peaches (GCA5JYD)Hardest - Men in Black Holes by SG-3 (Archived)Most visited - Dragons Lair by Shagzter (GC2E33)Tractable also visited your cache
Today we have had a big caching trip to Port Sorrel looking for as many caches as we could find in my quest to get to our next milestone by the end of November. Weve got no chance but definitely have no chance if we dont even try. As most caches required shanks pony our numbers were limited to around 30 finds for the day along with 3 dnf. Our primary focus to begin with was the 4 low tide caches all of which were successfully found. We then spent a while at Squeaking Point before a walk along the main trail near Hawley Beach. Thanks mainly to Spreyton and Angus88 for the bulk of our finds and of course to all the other hiders for adding enjoyment to our day. I walked 20,000 steps and 15km.Time for another walk! This is a cheeky hide TFTC Angus

We were at the end of our caching day and heading back to the kayaks at tge boat ramp. Couldn't resist just a couple more before paddling back to Bakers Point.A nice easy find, thanks Angus88
The Roadies and I have paddled over from our camping spot at Bakers Beach to do a bit of caching while kayaking. We pulled the kayaks up near the boat ramp and had some lunch before wandering off to find some caches. A quick find at a lovely beach. Thanks again Angus88.
In Tassie for the next few months. So many great places to visit and so many different caches to find.Introducing a friend to caching and out for a walk to pick up a few. An easy enough find on a nice day, with great views. Thanks Angus88 for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
#715 - Nice stroll on the beach with Krossbo to retrieve this cache while waiting for our pizza. The pizzas from Brewstone are really worth having The place was packed with camping muggles being a long weekend but fortunately we had GZ to ourselves. TFTC Angus88!!
Lots of muggles but we managed to locate the cache. Nice find with Muddtrax with a great outlook of the water. TFTC
Great find for the kids while we are camping, hopefully we'll find some more while we're here
Another 3-Day Geocaching trip is planned for Port Sorell / Devonport and places in between for the days of [Monday 3 to Wednesday 5 July 2023].
On foot and headed to my 2nd old DNF from 26 November 2021, i made my way to a new location to make a swift find in the 2nd place i looked.
SL at 15:48 (whilst getting my step count up as these were done on foot after dropping my gear off at my accommodation in Port Sorell).
The cache and contents are fine and dry.

This cache proved too good for me this morning after inspecting all metal objects... signs, table, posts, even a kitchen sink
I will have another go in the future when i return maybe
TFT Challenge anyways.
(Nice spot... loved the fish-gutting table with kitchen sink )
