Out on the southside picking up a few target caches, in particular the Oxley series and Runner geoart, with lots of others grabbed along the way.

The track was a bit muddy and swampy but drier at GZ. A short search and I soon located another of these now-familiar containers. Glad I read the attributes and brought my TOTT.

The puzzle had us chasing so many red herrings. We were happy to find it. The hide is beautifully constructed and we were happy to have the right TOTT to access this one.

Very fortunate to have been invited by the CO to assist with the beta testing and cache placements of this terrific Running Man geo art series of interesting puzzles. Since then I have been slowly trying to solve each one but as in most cases with there being many unique puzzles, of course I've had to resort to several PAF's.
Love jigsaws, even though I tend to take forever completing them mainly because I nod off in stages, I know in the end I will get the reward of the co-ords.
Good teamwork for the cache retrieval with the new ToT and whilst many bird sounds could be heard, unfortunately I didn't get my wish of seeing the pretty blue bird 'alive', a favourite point from me.

The Ankh is more turgid than usual at the moment. Saw some kids decorating one of the trees that’s sprouted in the middle.

Cache was quickly spotted, unlike the puzzle which took ages to complete.

Lots of birds waking up as we approached gz. We used 3 TOTT, we were 3x ready!

We had almost arrived at GZ when I read the hint and discovered that I'd need a TOTT. So I trudged back to the car while CaptainVimes kept an eye on the cache and made sure it behaved. She retrieved and returned it but unfortunately, the branch it was on snapped completely off when it was returned. We found a spot higher up to place it but it doesn't look very strong so have messaged the CO. Thanks for the cache

Caching in the dark here tonight, logging a few solved puzzle caches.
This was a painful solve, the cache, in contrast, was easy find, appreciate that in the dark.

Found while having an impromptu caching day with swearah, lucky because she is the friend with the TOTT neededing the practice swearah let me operate the TOTT again, thanks mate. I do enjoy solving the jigsaws.

Nothing wrong - the issue raised was user error, not a cache problem.

This geocacher reported that there is a problem with this cache.

Bought a new pole a few weeks ago (the first one was rubbish and is in the bin at a park in Dayboro!!). 4yr old granddaughter wanted to watch us use it and since we are childminding for 2 nights decided to head out here to fill the afternoon in. One of the neighbours checked us out as he thought we were riff-raff from the neighbouring high school up to no good!! He’s now keen to cache with his kids! A great cache for this type. Not very muddy but lots of mozzies. 4yr old insisted on signing her name on the log! Wonder how long before she gets her own account! Thanks heaps RoddyC for the puzzle and the cache. A favourite for the puzzle (LOVE jigsaws) and the cache.

After spending a day in Flagstone with very mixed results (actually our worst ever day for DNFs) I got PirateLinda to stop here... I knew I packed the pole for some reason...

I don’t use a silver, so this Jigsaw took some time... so much green...

Today we squelched into GZ... passing a neighbour who advised we wear gum boots and be on the look out for snakes!!! WTF!!!

Once at GZ it was PirateLinda who called “there it is”... pole up, pole down... made our mark and then repeated the process...

Tftc... we’ve actually been driving around all day with a print out of another cache in this series... it’s just evil... just evil...

Peppa did the puzzling. I did the driving. He's always up for a Tree Fishing Cache. Every one logged brings the price per cache for the specially purchased tree fishing pole down by just a bit. I think it must be at about $5.60/ cache by now. Thanks for this one RoddyC

Notifications for these caches began coming through as we arrived back at homebase after attending the nearby Mega & knowing so many intrepid cachers were tied up at Dayboro we decided to have a crack at solving a couple.
You never know when a potential FTF will raise it's head!

The puzzle took longer than I expected but still quick enough for us to be in the 'running' for FTF.
Once at GZ the cache was quickly retrieved … the lowest fishing cache to date for us & the first for imkyra.
Made our mark & replaced as found.
