Unfortunately this one is going to need a new log book at minimum but also looks like it could do with some TLTC. I will attend to this as soon as I can given the current lockdown restrictions.
A quick find, but container not sealed so logbook is very wet. Wrote in it ok but it is going to need to dry out a lot. Also trinkets scattered nearby so has perhaps been mugged. Returned them to container area and covered with camo. TFTC!
Nice area , thanks for bringing me here. Good camo spotted easy enough. Golden paper clip. The plastic bag that contains the log, needs replacing, unfortunately didn’t have one with me . TFTC
A nice park nearby. I went for a walk with my sister who lives nearby. I showed her what geocaching is like. I do not think she liked it. Merci
Was a bit worried that we were going to look like 2 creepy grownups lurking near a child's park with no child with this one but thankfully this was far enough from the park for us to probably fall more in the creepy drug dealers lurking in the bush category which we have grown more comfortable with. Found after locating the SPOR (which incidentally we had no idea what it stood for until I googled it when I got home.. will add that one to list of logging acronyms). TFTC!
The first time we went we couldn’t see it. We came back and saw a sus spot we found it in seconds.
With the recent deluge and some recent logs noting potential issues, I decided it was time for a CO check. I thank MizMaz for replacing the original log book which appears to have gone MIA. Thanks also to subsequent finders for efforts in replacing camo. Though I'll need to come back with a new baggie, the cache is on good condition for now and I'll let it be but will continue to monitor muggle factor. Cache on!
Nice easy find, amongst the rows of pine trees.
After the signing thing found some more camouflage material for better protection.
Nice park. Thank you for bringing me here.

Have found a cache in this park before but a lot more after school muggles were looking like a block to find this one today. Luckily arrow had me heading in a slightly different direction. A very quick find seeing as lid was here, container there and bits of swag all over the place. Collected as much as I could and replaced under some camo at zero co-ords. While not a throughfare for muggles, it is quite an open area and a different type of hide or location may be required to prevent disturbance again.
We come here often and I have to say that it is nice to have another cache hidden here to find. TFTC
TFTC, was rainy and no one around. Great hide kids loved it. Left a power ranger toy
After spending a relaxing (not) couple of hours at work on this boiling afternoon, I was thinking to myself, you know, it’s stupidly hot outside, almost as hot as I was in the factory. Nobody in their right mind would be at this park now! Perfect weather for cachers! After having a couple of false starts on this hide, being muggled out, and coming in the dark during a storm while conversing with the CO, and still not having any luck. But wow, what a difference walking up to this in the daylight! Pretty much jumped out at me, but I did also have some intel from the CO from before that also helped a lot! Thanks Meritonn, finally ticked this one off!

Found after a great morning of orienteering on a hot summers day. A great experience when the CO came across us just after we had finished signing duties. TFTC
Here at Sedgewick Reserve this morning to orienteer in this crazy heat with the assembly area only 30m from the cache, it made sense to do a quick check. All is well, though the swag was a little depleted so these have been topped up. Always great to catch up with Aspitbiker and Bustaraff at our events ️ cache on!
#7588 (2 of 5 today)
Headed south again today for more calendar finds. Got five out of 6 attempts - muggle issues at one spot where I ended up bailing and then returning.
Most were easy finds, but that one with muggles - I really needed clear air.
But got there in the end.

Last few unexpected caches for the year. On my way to the Parkrun tomorrow morning in Raby. Doing a sleepover in the car on New Year's Eve, thats a first!

I lived in Currans Hill for a few years and this reserve was a favourite of the geodog, especially after the upgrade. She quite like skate ramps. Predictably the GPS was bad here so I had a bit of a cast around before spotting something not quite as nature would have it. Glad I didn't bring the geodog today, she might love the ramps but she hates casuarina needles sticking to her paws.
With the generous hint it was a quick find amongst the Shea Oaks. TFTC Meritonnn.
Came out here in the afternoon to grab this one for my daily cache. I parked on the main road close to GZ and from what I heard from Littl3Vix, I won the magpie jackpot, not one was around to swoop me! Once I got the buzz that I was close, I started scouting around and almost walked into a spider web coords were spot on for me today and I soon spotted the hide. After completing signing duties I headed on my way and thankfully, still magpie free. Thank you for the cache!
Parked on the street and made my way through the trees, only to be pursued by a territorial magpie. So the rest of my journey to gz was with me waving a big stick above my head so the bird wouldn't swoop as close to me. Lucky it didn't follow me through the casurinas so I wasnt bothered while signing the log.
Another short walk back, while waving a big stick as a bird closely followed me until i was safely back in my car.
Thanks for the cache.

We had read about the swooping Magpie and walked with large sticks over our shoulders. However, the Magpie made no appearance. A nice location. TFTC Meritonnn
It seems one of Sweetmanda's magpie mates has set up camp in the stand of trees which border Currans Hill Drive (between the roadway and GZ). Swooping season will be over soon enough, but in the meantime please be vigilant. I parked up near the toilets and entered the Casuarina forest from that end - this might be the safer option for now. Good luck and happy hunting!
Container a bit wet on the outside, water didn’t get in. Another cache used to be under a seat along there, tftc
Another long day at work today and this afternoon I finished with some light left. Enjoying the cooler weather and a little drive I came up here to grab a find. I parked the geomobile on Curran’s Hill Drive directly across from the cache. I thought this would have been an easy one, but as soon as I entered the tree line near the road a magpie was onto me. Picking up my pace I dodged a couple of swoops and was off in the relative safety of gz. Scanning for the magpie while searching, I came across the hide quickly and completed signing duties. Replacing asI found it, I left to go back to the geomobile, really regretting where I parked. Off at the tree line I saw the maggie watching and waiting... I circled around but had no luck, he was on a mission! I ran my sorry ass back to the car dodging the swoops and finally caught my breath in safety. At least that one is done! What an adventure, and unintentional workout. TFTC Meritonnn!
FTF an easy walk to GZ. I have driven pass this park many times and also found another cache nearby. I never had noticed that these trees were planted in rows, just like a pine plantation. The coordinates were spot on making an easy find. I dropped off a TB for 2TF if they like, many thanks.
