We are heading home to Vic after a road trip to WA. We are targeting some multi caches along the way today. We pulled up at the given coordinates and recognised the Church and then realised wed look for this one once before. With a few thousand more caches under our belt we knew what to look for and made the tricky find. It's good to find another 'Used 2B a Church' cache today. This is deserving of a favourite point as we liked the hide and we are not having to visit for a third time
A few days away in Peterborough and then on to Port Augusta to take a trip on the Pichi Richi railway finding a few hides on our travels where the Muggle Mrs allowed. All caches were in good condition unless stated otherwise. Thanks for the cache froghoppinFind Number 10807
Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi. Staying in Peterborough for the night and on the way home after nearly 9 weeks of travel around NSW with muggle friends grabbing caches where possible. So, for one night, we didn't unhook the van, so everything had to be walking. Wandered round town yesterday afternoon looking and caching without much luck and wandered past this Used 2B and took photos thinking that this could be added to the collection. Got back to the van and looked at the map and, doh, saw this multi. Had all the info I needed, so got the coords for GZ. This morning before breakfast, it was a quick wander back down the hill, a short search which revealed the little SOS. Signed the log and rerolled it to put it back and replaced the cache as found. Now to head back home.Gratias pro cache froggopoin & honeysucker
Another in the Used 2B series that seem to be in every town we visit now. Some foolproof maths that even I couldn't muck up had us at an unusual but possible GZ. Found by MrG who quickly realised there was a little trick to getting the cache. TFTC froghoppin.
Found with the help of Co, thanks for the tips. Out caching with my caching buddy, MrsShep77, and our faithful drivers. Thanks for the great hides.
Another great day of caching with friends!! needed a little help but got it. TFTC
I had a lovely walk around this beautiful town this afternoon and collected a handful of caches in the process. Fascinating buildings and architecture some in great condition others nt so.Made a quick find on this after collecting the info.SL TFTC
Travelling with richlink from Perth to Darwin up along the west coast and home again through the centre and the Nullarbor, picking up caches as we go. Based in Peterborough, we are exploring some of the surrounding area. Thanks for the cache.
Travelling with iluvtrekking up the WA coast to Darwin, down the Centre and in the Flinders. Basing ourselves in Peterborough for a few days to grab finds in the surrounds. Thanks for another in this series.
While staying in Jamestown we recently logged a string of DNF’s in Peterborough. So many nanos which always give us lots of trouble
Full time Nomads since March 2014.
Having been in Perth to visit family our stay has come to an end and we are on our way to Broken Hill for the Mundi Mundi Bash.
Stopping in Jamestown to catch up with Sylken. This morning we joined with them to attempt a new cache and try to convert some . Bumping into Chrispy was a bonus. We continued along in 3 cars, then 2 cars then it was just us caching our way back to Jamestown.
Fun Sunny day to be out and about.

Joined FelixII & sylken for a spot of caching in the area.
Have been saving these caches for a rainy day challenge. Just glad it was a warm sunny day.
Nice quick find with multiple sets of eyes.
Come visit SA’s longest running annual event - keep the weekend free - 7th - 10th June 2024 Can’t wait!!

While staying in Jamestown we enjoyed today caching in Peterborough and Yongala. Peterborough seems to be ‘Nano Central’ and as these types of hides are definitely our nemesis, and not our favourites we weren’t surprised to end up with a few DNF’s….even with comprehensive hints
Time for a Tuesday Trekking again.
Today it was a duo of cachers, as Brisal5, was unable to join us today.
Ttrogg picked up the Rat from the Rat's nest.
We then headed north, chasing boxes.
We came, we gathered our info.
Did the calcs, then off to GZ.
A quick find for the duo today. Tftc

After picking up the Rat from her nest we went on a Tuesday Trek in a northerly direction . My main aim was a newish AdLab in Clare, after that we continued north where there were quite a few Used 2B Churches that needed to be found. The day's list also included a variety of physical caches and even a virtual. Another satisfying day's caching before heading home for some relaxing.
Starting to wonder if the nano factory, the one that needs blowing up, is out this way somewhere.
Thanks to froghoppin & honeysucker for adding to this nice series with this cache.
Cache #13697 for me.
This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).

A nice old church in town here, off to GZ and amazing the stand is still good, bloody nano
After making my way up to Caroona Creek Comservation Park yesterday and camping the night there my main goal of the day was to make the walk through Tourilie Gorge finding cache with 4.5 years unloved followed by the rest of the day finding caches around the mid north yet to be found before making my way back to Adelaide.
Thanks for the cache

Another nano bites the dust, a quick find after calculating the co ordinates. Thanks froghoppin and honeysucker for this multi tftc
Worked out the coordinates, checksum worked, but I just couldn’t find it. Blind Freddy……..
TFTC and a nice quick fi d after solving the coordinates. I walked here from our campsite behind the pub. I’ve walked to the 5 caches in town and I think I now deserve a beer or 2
Not such a quick find on our overnight stay on our way to Broken Hill for Easter. Apparently my eyes in the ends of my fingers don't have very clear vision. Can't believe we missed it the first time looking. The hints were spot on. Tftc
Ocw the Bebes. Had to double check our numbers after first GZ didn’t seem correct. Recalculated and made a quick find. Tftc
OCW PelDroedGwin and geodog Peppa
Staying nearby in the caravan.
Gathered the info and set off to GZ but a mid-calc had us on the wrong side of the tracks so to speak.
The actualGZ was cool.

A quick find this morning before heading to Broken Hill.
What a year Sandyofthesea and I have had. We kitted out the Prado and took off from Perth, Western Australia at the start of April 2022 to travel more of Australia using geocaching as a guide to see the sights. We started with the Nullabour, Eyre and York Peninsulas, the Riverlands, visited family in Victoria and then back in SA it got cold. Flinders and the Oodnadatta Track was amazing and we finally warmed up in Dalhousie Springs. The Alice beckoned and then a change of plan and we ended up tackling the Tanami Track to the Kimberley and Bungles Bungles. Territory Day in Darwin was unhinged - please try and do it! The Gulf, the coast and the car breaker ‘Old Tele Track’ to the top of Cape York. This is a must but it’s not easy! Eventually made it to Brisbane to get some fixes to the car….. let’s see where we end up.
froghoppin, I found Used 2B a Church Micro #0201 today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

Thanks for the story. Unfortunately not all old church buildings are destined for a better life. TFTC.
Broken Hill to Peterborough
While towing the caravan we stopped along the highway where it is safe to pull over.
Once we had dropped our caravan at the camping ground we did a tour of this railway town & it's many nanno's. This was a good way to visit the town
Thanks for placing the cache.

Love these church micros that have information accessible from the vehicle while still being able to appreciate the site, particularly on rainy days like these. The final GZ was just as interesting as the old building. Great hide. Tftc.
Found during a caching trip to SA's mid north staying at Orroroo for two nights and Jamestown for one night. Spent the day caching around Peterborough and Yongala, then down to Jamestown. Made the observations, did the calculations and headed off for the search. Thanks for the cache froghoppin & honeysucker!
Hoofing it around town. Found this beautiful old church

Another sunny day out north with Jack and Purrfect Di took us here.
Many blessings were upon us as the numbers fell into place and showed us the way!!!
Bless you froghoppin for hiding this tiny cache on our northern SA geo map game board
Rant rant rant etc...
---
Most Geocaches are located and logged using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck!
---
Please do stay safe when caching.
Lookout for mud, snakes, surprise cliffs, wild goats, wombats, bulldust, and lightning,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins... but especially lookout for bugs. [xx(]
Make sure Travel Bugs are the only bugs you share and pass on
We really appreciate all those placing quality caches out and about especially away from the city crowds,
it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting

I was getting itchy feet and wanting to get out in the bush camping again, so decided to do an overnighter to the mid-north.
Unfortunately the weather forecast wasn’t great, but aside from a couple of showers in the morning as I was heading north from Adelaide, the occasional bit of patchy light rain on and off through the day was not enough to detract. And the temperatures in the mid-20s were very pleasant!
My main targets were multis. Most seemed to be Used2Bs or simple 2-stage multis and didn’t take too long. Only one was a multi-stage cache.
I was happy with my tally of 24 multis and one Traditional cache for the day. All of the caches except one were found relatively easily and were in good condition.
Thanks froghoppin for the cache.

The Non Wangaratta Event Tour 2021!
Covid has postponed the Mega in Victoria until January but leave had been granted for AnyMules to attend with me and Bushfire. So Anymules and I went on a tour to Eyre Peninsular and mid north South Australia instead whilst Bushfire joined us in spirit only as covid meant he couldn't come here either. Not needing anything for my yearly goals I hoped I didn't add too many to the DNFs [B)]
DAY 4: Grab a few move solved puzzles and head to Terowie.
We had the numbers, we had the calc's, all that was left was to find the cache. Interesting place for a cache which actually took a little while to locate.
But it was a nano and so the Freddo rant MUST be invoked. [^] Poor kitten. [xx(]
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers from over fifty to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]
***Thanks froghoppin & honeysucker for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

If it wasn’t for Geocaching and the journey it takes us, we would never have seen these beautiful old buildings.
Oh to be a fly on the wall when the stories were told.

Im so glad that I chose this former church for today’s multi because it’s a nano! Another nano rant gets me a bit further to claiming Freddo Hates Nanos challenge cache! This one is pretty benign too.

Day two of a camping trip testing out my new swag. I am slowly making my way up to the Flinders Ranges and taking my time exploring lots of little towns along the way.
Stopped in to Peterborough for a coffee and a couple of caches.
I’ve been to Peterborough before but this was my first visit as a geocacher. Quite a few geocaches here to entertain me while I reacquaint myself with this town.
Quick find here.

Day 7
" insert nano rant "
found with Mogni and Jacknor. We where heading up Carrieton for a couple of days and then on to the Flinders Rangers for 5 days. The plan was to find as many of the church multi's as we could going up and then bright and early the next day head off to the " Bendleby Ranges " 4 x 4 tracks. Then clear the next section of multi's between Carrieton and Rawnsley Station and of course a few stray trads that would help Jacknor's jasper grid. A straight week of over 30 degrees meant less hiking than planned but we still got to the top of Rawnsley Bluff as well as some other smaller hikes. The Rawnsley station 4 x 4 track was completed and by then it was time to decamp and start the drive home. Stopped at orroroo and cleared the town out before going back to the church multi grind. All caches that where found that were brittle or damaged were replaced and extra logs added to those caches that the scroll was full or almost full, except for nano's. Nano's are evil spawn and you can do your own maintenance on them.

Holiday time, a week in the Flinders Rangers with sir_spectre and Jacknor. We had lots of fun, walk and of course found some caches. Today we packed up the camper and started to head for home early, strangely it took 13 hours to get home... Today we did lots of cache maintenance replacing cache containers and adding logbooks.

Heading home after a lovely 5 days in Whyalla on a mini holiday with scramping...
We selected a few caches for on the way home were we could take a break...
We actually detoured from the most obvious route to avoid the city and to get a couple of target caches in Orroroo & Peterborough...
Quickly worked out the final location after visiting the Used 2B church...
The cache was found, signed and replaced back as found...

The numbers were not so easy to see. However that doesn’t stop a cacher. Move a little bit and all was good. Another used 2B added to the growing collection. TFTC
I use2be able to see numbers across the street but not this one. I squinted and had to hop out of the car and run across. GZ was a quick find luckily. Firesafe would be proud.
