Despite following the hint and reassurances of it being an easy find, the search was futile. With four of us scouring the area, perhaps we all need glasses! Nonetheless, the stunning ocean view and the opportunity to rest at this beautiful stone site, built in memory of a dear friends father, made it all worthwhile. A special place indeed
Better luck with this one! Quick find at GZ, and thankfully the muggles having morning tea at the lookout point nearby weren't the slightest bit interested in what I was doing TFTC
Out for walk with the geo kids before we head back to the mainland. Lovely walk along the coast. Great easy hide. Kids were impressed with the amount of swaps available! TFTC
Holidaying in the area and decided to explore this pennisula and took a walk along the cliffs. Amazing views! Looked under the wrong tree first but quickly found under the next one. TFTC
Nice big and brazen. Loved it. Great location too, with fantastic views and a chance to sit and enjoy them (and unpack the cache and sign the log!). Thanks whitewebbs; this is a nice sequence of caches.
Took me more time to unpack all the stuff inside of it than it took me to find it. What a cool geocache.
One of twenty finds today while out caching with Zozetta. We began the day at Lauderdale, before making our way along Forest Hill Road to the coastal reserve then down to Honeywood Drive and Cremorne, collecting caches along the way. Twenty finds in total and one DNF.
It’s been quite a few years since were last here. We returned today to get the caches on the Clarence Coastal Trail and the one on the beach just along from it.
A quick find by Zozetta once we arrived at GZ. Good to find a large cache.
Sorry for the late log.

After not being able to read the hint for awhile, I was worried that this might be a bison hanger. Finally got columns to tell me the hint it then became a favourite. Found, stamped and replaced, with Maggie and Mollie, my GeoWesties, while roaming around Tasmania with our motorhome “Mylittlebus” looking for content for our TASMANIA ALL OVER facebook. Join us there. Thanks for placing this cache (and others), keeping us on our exploring toes.
Found this cache fairly quickly after checking the size.
Might still be able to squeeze in the rest before I have to leave.

Passing by to do some missed caches nearby and found it in the open, we’ve put it back in the tree but on the ground. Awesome cache.
On this gorgeous afternoon on the 22.1.22 we decided to set out for a lovely stroll along Clarence Coastal Trail in Cremorne. We were pretty excited to see 6 caches along the way
We decided to walk to the end and start with the furthest cache and work our way back. I'm so glad Mr Viking is so prepared with our kit as we got very distracted with the most amazing veiws we end up doing most of the caches with head torches
You don't get much cooler than this cache! This one was a quick find and we sat for a well deserved rest while Mrs signed the log. Beautiful little spot.

Well this was the first time I'd been caching in a few weeks now, with me staying at home for the Mega on the mainland and missing all the fun, today the goose drove for the second time in a row and picked me just after 9.
We headed down to Cremorne after getting a coffee on the way, we started off and could see it was going to get busy as the weather was perfect, after grabbing a newish one we had missed in Cremorne we started up hill on the trail and after a short diversion to the top of the hill to get Calverts Hill cache and the GCA Trig Point we completed the WW series and started back, the beach this time was busy but they were all busy in the right place for us to find the fortress before we headed back to the car.
Next it was over to another beach to collect two new caches and one I had missed for many years but fixed that today after a good search.
Thanks for the caches.

We spent ages looking for this. How could we miss a large hanging cache? Well it turns out we were looking in the wrong tree and it wasn't hanging anymore!
a quick call to the CO had things back on track and we were off to find the next one.
Thanks whitewebbs, everyone likes a big container!

Beautiful day exploring this track and caching. Scenic views of so much of Hobart
Not critical, but the handle from which this hangs has broken. So it is more of a sitter at present.
Lovely cache though. And the hand sanitiser was a bonus!

Different!
Glad I did the short walk from number one to come up here and get this one today.
Always a nice view from up here, and the stone work has made a difference to last time I went through here

People were sitting here when we walked past, so had to get on way back from Mays Beach. Very much a hanger.
Was running out of light and time as I had to make it in to cremorne to get a bus back to Hobart. Looked at the hint straight up to speed things along. Was dismayed to see hanging as I hadn't looked at the size yet. A micro could be bloody anywhere in there!! Was very pleasantly surprised to discover the cache as soon as I spread the branches. So big but so nicely concealed!!!
Some free time while Geo Kid O played Magic the Gathering nearby, so decided I should have a go at this nearby trail at night time...... It was an overcast night so no starlight or moonlight to speak of and with my trusty torch running out of batteries just before the end of the walk, I was left with the iphone torch for the last 200 metres, although most of this was across the sand, so no issues there at all. The walk out was against the wind and fairly tough, but the walk back was easy with the wind at my back
Only had trouble with one hide, which should have been the easiest, but my GPS was between two trees and I searched the wrong one before a PAF
Tricky little cache to find in the dark
TFTC and the adventure.

It was such a lovely sunny afternoon, the GeoGSP and I headed out to visit some beaches and find some caches.
Such a great spot for a cache, they have built a lovely area here to sit and soak in the views, so we did. Then we looked for the cache - I had a hunch what type of container I was looking for, and I wasn't disappointed. Thanks for placing some caches along this walking trail, such a beautiful area. A favourite from me and the GeoGSP.

I had bad thoughts for this one once I got to the location but alas there it was nicely secreted. TFTC
A great summers day encouraged us to try and complete the rest of the caches in this Peninsula. We have covered many different walks and tracks in the area which have been scenic and spectacular as we did your cache along the way.
It was great to see a variety of hides in the series taking you to places we have not been before. Cache and contents were in excellent condition and adding to our favourites.
Thanks whitewebbs for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Out for a ramble with our Wednesday group, everyone enjoyed finding this one. Tftc
Having been too timid {as blue wren's usually are ha ha } when the workman was working last time back on Tuesday 5 January, i made the effort to come try again today on the last day of my trip
Drove to Cremorne to find GZ devoid of any Muggles and to discover the "work of art" the workman has done. Man! his work is fantastic [^]
He can build me a house anyday and in this most awesome picturesque spot too
Found the large container {lol, for a second i thought he left something behind} I loved it and for that and the view a Favorite Point is gladly surrendered

On my caching day out by bicycle i came to this one only to discover there is works going on here directly on GZ [:o] with 2 machines aswell.
It is fenced off with loose and simple bunting but after the workman goes i suppose one could sneak inside and have a snoop for the cache. Early on a Sunday morning or after 18:00 anyday may be the go, but today at about 11:35 on a weekday, was a no-go.
Moving here to Tassie in February will see me have another go, coming from the Cremorne end this time ha ha
I look forward to finding this Large surprise in Feb [^]

Looking to complete walks each day in different places. Today was the Cremorne Coastal Trail.
Gave this a miss on the way out as the muggle-workman was right next to the cache. On the way back I hoped he may have taken an early break but no such luck. As the cache is almost reachable from the edge of the worksite streamers I decide to chat to the workman who was delighted to let me fossick and wanted to know about caching. He is a Cremorne man and says he will be finished in a short time. Happy to let you look if he isn't using the machines at the time. Took TB.
TFTC - loved the walk.

We got to GZ, then checked the hint, and thought we were going to be here for ages searching for a needle in a haystack. Of course, we hadn't noticed the listed cache size! It was a pleasant surprise to find the cache before long! TFTC!

Hello whitewebbs thank you for the cache
I had waked this track when it first opened and did think about hiding caches along it but I was too lazy so thank you for the caches.
This afternoon EeePees and I went for a walk before BNO.
A quick find after waiting for a muggle to pass by, I do like this hanger.

hi whitewebbs, thanks for the cache, and indeed this series.
Tonight was our regular monthly Boys Night Out - 3 mates, usually dinner somewhere, but when the 'muggle' amongst us is unavailable, AlbyDangles and I turn it into a geocaching outing and grab a feed (often a pizza) on the way home.
So tonight it was geocaching! We parked as suggested, trudged along the beach and then up along the track.
Nice views, and the weather played nicely for our entire walk here, despite earlier dwizzle, and more later it turns out.
A muggle was catching up to us, so as we approached GZ, we slowed and let her past, after exchanging some pleasantries. Once she'd moved on, we approached GZ from different sides, each of us spotting the cache (gotta love a large hander) but AlbyDangles was best placed to retrieve. We think we've seen this whitewebbs container before!
A great night out with AlbyDangles.
Cheers, EPs

This is a beautiful walk on a perfect sunny day , was pleasantly surprised by this cache
Continuing on the lovely coastal track from the northern end back to Cremorne. Lovely views and a very pleasant easy walk.
The casuarinas are incredibly lush here.
This cache was a surprise!
Large enough for a TB, so left one I had just grabbed from tassietan.
Also found a lovely FTF pin. Obviously tassietan was a bit toooo excited in her quest to get FTFs on all of this series and completely overlooked her prize Have taken it for her.
Thanks again whitewebbs.

Pleased that I am out and about early enough to get the second FTF in this series. Lovely walk along what looks like a relatively new track. Frogs can be heard in the nearby pond. Didn't realise it would be so steep - and didn't bring a drink! FTF @ 6.50 am. A fun cache! Left a sea creature. Thanks very much whitewebbs.
