Looked in all the obvious places and it’s not here today

01-Jul-23
Was in the area and saw this conveniently located cache nearby. Easily discovered (perhaps too easily) sitting on the ground under the seat. I'm not sure if this is the intended hide location, so I've popped it into a hole on the end of the stump of the tree bench. CO may need to relocate if this isn't correct. TFTC!

A lot of cars here tonight but everyone was in the theatre so it was nice and quiet at gz. Thanks for the cache.

I’d advised to do this one on a dry day. Getting on the ground in the rain would not be fun. Unless your Mr 8. Anywho. We found the cache pretty easily. Nice and easy to finish the day. TFTC

*Found on the 10 Jan 2023 @ 3:21 pm.*
*Cache find # 13982.*

This was an odd one as I stopped by this one maybe 20 minutes earlier and walked around GZ but as there was a muggle closeby, I decided to go to another and then come back to this one, I headed over to GZ and found the cache on the ground about a metre out from the seat, if it was there when I stopped by earlier, I would have stood on it so l,m sure it wasn’t in that spot earlier on.
Anyway, I stamped the log and replaced it where I thought it should be.

I was needing a few more finds in the Whittlesea LGA to try and qualify For one of the Mega challenges so I decided to head back over this way and go for a ride along some of the trails.
I stopped by this one on my travels and was able to find it, the log was signed and I was on my way to the next one.

**Thanks to greytiger for placing this cache.**

No seat was taken today as the rain was coming down. A quick and easy find though helped me to avoid getting too wet.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for placing this geocache here for us to find today, for without those who like to hide geocaches, there would be nothing around for those who like to find geocaches.

Another cache found on our mega tour. Thanks for the fun.

November 2022. Time for the second Victorian Mega of the year. This time in Whittlesea. What is it with W's? Time for another epic road trip. Who will join our merry crew? We traveled from South Australia and camped in the pig pen. It rained. It blew. It was sunny. It was not sunny. All four seasons. Beautiful location and some awesome caches.

Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.

Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke für den Cache. Gracias por el caché. Bedankt voor de cache. Kiitos kätköstä. Zikomo posungira. Terima kasih untuk cache. Hvala cache. Köszönöm a cache. Nga mihi mo te keteroki. Dankie vir die kas.

A nice find in the suburbs today, cache found and is all good

This weekend was mega weekend and we headed over with Freddo, team Waldron, e.gregory1 and Davidwazza as part of our team called: ‘Aussies on Tour’, the log books were either signed with the name, AOT or our individual caching names.
A great weekend away and a very well organised mega despite the horrible weather thrown at us we still managed to find quite a few caches

Thanks for the cache

Found while in the area to attend the Mega Event at Whittlesea.

Today I joined up with Team Waldron, Freddo, gridge98 and Davidwazza as we made our way to Whittlesea and targeted caches of interest. All caches were signed 'A.O.T.'

Thanks greytiger for the cache

This weekend, it was a flight and trip down to Melbourne to attend The Whittlesea 2022 Mega Event. I arrived on Thursday evening and had accommodation in Mill Park, which was a good strategic location between Whittlesea and Melbourne. I joined a few South Aussie friends as part of the “Aussies on Tour” (AOT) team, which consisted of e.gregory1, Freddo, gridge98, and Team Waldron.
Several geocaching series were completed, which included the Commonwealth Star Series (CSS), Whittlesea Puzzles for Beginners, Whittlesea Event Gadget Trail (WEGT), Whittlesea Challenge Wander (WCW), and the Whittlesea Compass (TWC). In addition, we targeted uncommon cache types, rare/unique D-T combinations, older caches and those with high Favourite Points. It was great to have visited Victoria's two 2000 hidden geocaches too (Victoria's 1st (Melbourne's 1st) and Devil Bend).
We were treated with great weather for the first couple of days, but then it deteriorated from Saturday afternoon with rain storms and high winds overnight and on Sunday.

We took a stop at this location, and I parked quite close to GZ, it was a quick walk and subsequent find. It looks to be a nice conference centre judging from its outside. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, and the logbook was stamped with our "Aussies on Tour" stamp / noted as AOT to save logbook space. Thanks greytiger for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

The sun is shining, we have donuts right across our COVID board and caches everywhere to explore. After a morning walk I was off to get my 2nd dose of the covid vaccine and while dutifully completing my 15m wait I noticed there was a cache just out the window. Super stealth mode was required here today. But there was no one at the coffee stand so it was time to tie my shoelaces!

Now it’s off to enjoy the afternoon.

Thanks opted-out user for the cache.

06-Jun-21
Nice easy one

30-May-21
Took the geo family on a short walk. Geo son was excited to find this one on his own. Had to be careful with timing as there was a few muggles around due to the spot being a vaccination centre at the moment.

This is the first cache of the day. I caught the train to South Morang and will spend the day doing one of my favorite activities. This cache was not difficult to find and I nabbed a couple of pathtags here.

20-Nov-20
Out with the Geowife for dinner and had some time to kill before picking up the kids from Youth Group so decided to grab this as it was close by. Geowife found this super quick, TFTC greytiger. Great spot. Gets a favourite point from me.

17-Nov-20
It's good to see that the greytiger is still active and cacheing. Another one of your hides. Surprisingly well hidden considering the area and I imagine that it would have high muggle activity later in the day. But it was too early for most of them to be out and about when I was there. We are going to have to catch up again sometime. All was in good condition. NTNL and TFTC.

STF: Been way to long since I last found a cache due to covid, the lockdown and a busy schedule. After hearing about this one from a friend, I decided to pick it up on the way home from the shops. A good hide which I found on a nice but hot day. TFTC and thanks for reminding me why I enjoy geocaching so much.
