A chance to get away for a Canberra Long weekend was taken and so fitzy_1965 and I made plans to head to Bathurst. It was our first try at camping in the back of the GeoMover. Whilst it was chilly, it was much better than having to set up a tent in the freezing cold. Snow is definitely on the way!
It has been a while since we headed up this way as evident by the explosion of unfound caches up this way. Always good to find a Joshwa27 cache or two but turned out to be a lot more this weekend. After a cool night in the van, we were up and away quickly for another jam packed day of caching.
All caches were found quickly and easily. Many thanks to all the CO’s.

28,189. Found with minniek during a (mostly) long weekend trip up to the Oberon/Bathurst region hunting "Joshwa27" caches.
Day 2. With a huge number of new Joshwa27 puzzles being published (and solved by us), and a Canberra only long weekend, we decided to head up to the Oberon/Bathurst region for a trial run of our new Camping Van configuration. Lots of J27 caches and many other ones were the result. So much fun was had this weekend despite the nasty weather coming in on Monday. After a quick breakfast we hit the road for many more caches. This was another bonus cache along the way. Quick find once at GZ. Stamped the log, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next one.
Thanks ljc44 !!

Wasn’t in the first cobwebby place I looked and was flabbergasted… stood back and oh there it is!
Out with the Geo grandkids for the holidays.
Such excitement.
Geo- granddaughter found it. Nice cache.
TFTC!

Over from WA visiting my parents, first time we’ve been able to in 2 1/2 years.
I took the grumbling kids out for some fresh air as it was nearby and has a plentiful supply of caches to make the trip well worth it.
I let my daughter steer us to GZ on this one but came up empty handed in all areas we looked. Gave up and began to walk away only to look at where the actual GZ was and realised she had us looking at the wrong spot.
We found it straight away on our way back.
Thanks for the hide ljc44

Found during what seemed Iike peak hour!! Cute hide!! Kinda ropeable I didn't see it earlier! Tftc
Not the exact spot I was expecting so took a while. Even close to 9pm the traffic is crazy. TFTC
In Bathurst for Uni and took advantage of finishing early to do a bit of caching. Parking at the park, I walked along the pathway collecting caches on my way back.
Not quite what I was looking for here but found never the less! TFTC

Really hard to reach. We thought it was on the road but it's not. Very well 'guarded' sister loved cache.
# 7505 In Bathurst with iPlod65 for a weekend of socialising, parkrun and geocaching of course. The weather hasn't been great, but we got a minor repreive on Sunday with some sun for the first time.
I was last here back in April but only grabbed a few. Good to be back to reclaim some DNFs and see some more of the micro-capital of the central west.
A cold wind was blowing by this point and "Blue" is how we were starting to feel. Mercifully, a quick find here.
Thanks ljc44

Weekend trip to Rylstone July 2021. I had decided to head out west to spend some time getting caches I was not able to on my last visit.
Today was a long loop to Bathurst via Sofala, Hill end and Cullen Bullen. I went for a short walk along the river here and was happy to locate each of the four caches I tried for along the way.
Thanks for the cache ljc44

I felt in the right spot at first but missed it, second time lucky, thanks.
Driving home to Armidale from Orange - the long way to pick up some caches. Quick find here, but it's a busy spot & took a while to retrieve without being seen. TFTC.
Out for a day of adventures with the geopups. Easy find but difficult to not be noticed on such a busy corner. TFTC.

TFTC, very busy today had to wait for a clear opening to grab but in the end was successful
We have travelled from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to Bathurst for a 9 day holiday, camping in our Jayco Swan Outback Camper Trailer at the Bathurst NRMA Big4 Caravan Park, and plan to collect some caches & Adventure Labs in the Bathurst and surrounding areas.
Today we went for a drive up to Abercrombie, completing the cache trail along the Macquarie River walking path, then back down to Bathurst town centre via West Bathurst, collecting caches along the way. We ended the day with a few caches at Macquarie Vale. This was the 12th of 30 finds for the day (day 6), and 102nd find of the holiday.
A nice quick find of a very familiar hide style. Yep, it's blue alright, and a nice shade of it too. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC Ljc44.

With 3Stars having a walk and forgot a pen will have to come back another time to sign. Photo of log taken by 3Stars
Found it whilst out on a walk with aussie50... forgot to bring a pen but took photo of log and will come back to sign soon
Picked an unfortunate time with lots of traffic. Luckily there was a 'seat' to sit on and a lull in traffic came eventually. TFTC
Made no blues finding the cache, wrote on the damp log in blue pen
Thanks for the cache

It's been a long time between FTF's so when this one popped up in my email, off I went.
It was raining on and off and the traffic was non stop, so luckily it was a quick find after walking through the long wet grass in thongs.
Council seem to have forgotten to mow along the reserve lately.
