After struggling at my first AL location, this was a lovely walk around town. I even finished on the closest one to GZ!?!TFTC.
What fantastic weather today! It feels warm. Thanks to ALL7 for taking us to Braidwood town for some caches. Excellent, enjoyed the day with LAB and here lovely spotted, sign the log by the stamp of us. TFTC
Day 22 of my interstate trip. Today I packed up and left Bateman's Bay and finally made my way to Canberra where I will be staying for 3 nights. I managed to find 11 caches today and only 1 DNF.Thanks for the tour around Braidwood.TFTC StrangeTrousers
Stopped in here to get a few multi's solved/found and then got distracted by this adventure lab. nice tour of the town. Found with Mogni. Leaft canberra for the day and headed to Wasp head to Australia's ( and the world's ) oldest earthcache. On route we were getting new NSW LGA's. Found with Mogni. Myself and mogni are headed off to canberra on the " I missed the Capital GeoBash Mega " holiday, since last minute family problems came in to play and we had to adjust our plans by a few weeks. On the way over we targeted multi's, wherigo's and puzzles to make sure we had 25 in each or at least close to that total ( or more ) as possible, getting as many new New South Wales LGA's as possible, the 17th most favourite point NSW cache and every cache size in New South Wales. In the ACT it was getting 2 of the 5 oldest letterboxes, oldest wherigo in Australia, 2nd oldest earthcache ( with a side trip to get the oldest earthcache of course ), and ACT oldest cache too. I also hosted a CITO and planned on getting every different cache type i could and eevry different cache size as well. I also needed 9 more virtuals this trip to get my virtual count over 100. Finally canberra was far enough away from from house to complete the well aged well travelled cacher 0 to 1000 kms with a cache every 10 km's ( i only need 7 more caches to complete )Leaving the ACT it was going via Victoria to get there last active web cam cache and slowly getting a total of 20 finds in each LGA i passed through if i had enough time plus also hosting a CITO in Victoria as well. A busy 11 days. Trust me by the end of the holiday you would have thought the 6 meter ladder weighed more than 13 kg's to amount of times it was used or carried up hills or over creeks. If your cache was found with a broken container/lid it was replaced or if the log was full it was replaced or a extra log if the container was big enough ( except for nano's, do your own maintenance on nano's.
Day 6 of mogni and sir_spectre visit the ACT. Today we left the ACT for a time and visited Batesman's Bay as there was an earthcache we both wanted to find. Of course before heading off we visited the Canberra Airport, and grabbed a few smilies. A long day, but great weather for being out and about. As per normal if a cache needed a bit of love, it got it. Many wet and smelly containers were replaced and lots of logsheets added today. Thanks to StrangeTrousers from mogni
A quick find here after completing the nice little AL. Cache and log in good condition. Thanks, StrangeTrousers!
Cooma to BraidwoodStopped for a couple of caches along the road where suitable with a caravan on.Now at Braidwood we are camped near the golf club. A good AL to highlight the town area. FP given A nice way to visit the town & area is by following the geocaching trailThanks StrangeTrousers for hiding this cache.
Caching around the area on the road trip home after Easter Geobash in Canberra. Nice BonusThanks StrangeTrousers for contributing to this great game for myself and others to enjoy.
A fun lab. Interesting to see people in book who did not journal the lab!! Found on the Mega Capital Geobash coastal loop via Adelaide - Barrington - coast to Mexico City loop. A lot of caches and white line fever was sweated out. Thanks StrangeTrousers and clear skies from TeamAstro. Cache the planet! Some logs signed as TAD as teamed up with Tenkae and Deanside for additional fun. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Found as I headed to Canberra for the Mega event over Easter.I identified some caches of interest and took a rather circuitous route, hoping to find as many of the targets as possible in the relatively short time available. So many caches; so little time! This was a quick find after completing the associated Adventure Lab.Thanks StrangeTrousers for the Adventure Lab and bonus cache.
I did the work and found the final. This was a cute town to visit. I went through in both directions, so that helped. Thank you for the smiley and the fun!The day:Today I continued my month long journey from the U.S. along the east coast of Australia!! I was on my way to Canberra for the GeoBash mega and reuniting with the Aussie friends I left behind when I left Adelaide almost a month ago. I thought I'd make it yesterday, but I did not because I decided to head down to the oldest earthcache in the country. I had a grand day beginning with that one (there were KANGAROOS!) and ending in Canberra. Many thanks to all the geocachers who placed and continue to maintain their geocaches for folks like me to find. I know it's not always easy, but know that I appreciate you.
I dd this one over two visits to Braidwood. Handy as we always stop in town on the way too and from the coast. While the family went pie hunting I made the last few finds and then a drop by to the gz. Some cool old buildings in town. My favorite was the old house on the west side of town with the slate roof. Nice! Thanks for taking me on the tour.
A work trip to Canberra this week, I found my way out the other side of Braidwood chasing a Ghost icon on the map. As I made my way back toward the capital, I paused in this quint little town to do the labs and ick up this bonus cache. The history and info for the labs was neat and I enjoyed working my way through the series. The find for this one was very easy once I arrived at GZ. I added my name to the log, returned the cache as found and hit the road back to Bungendore, where another lab series awaited.Cheers StrangeTrousers.

1066 for the tribe which I remember as being a somewhat important year from history class, which seems appropriate given the historical nature of this AL. For carting reasons this has taken three separate visits to Braidwood to complete! This was a great AL and appropriately themed bonus. Thanks for brightening our day or rather our night. All in good order and condition at the bonus cache with plenty of room in the logbook. TFTC!
On my tour through Australia, I visit some beautiful caches along the way with Oopie. CO thanks for creating this cache.
Together with Travelser I'm going Down Under. We are driving around with a motorhome. Started on the 17th September in Cairns. Our plan is driving.along the eastcoast down. Then in the south on to Adelaide and from there ending the 31th October in Alice Springs.During our trip we of course search for several caches. Most of them brought us to very nice spots, like this one.All the CO's, and in this case StrangeTrousers, thanks for bringing us here and give our trip a special accent.
Visiting from NZ and enjoying a trip through the Blue Mountains. Great scenery and some quaint towns along the way.Picked this one up after spending the night in Braidwood. Completed the AL last night and swung by this morning for the bonus..TFTC
travelling from Goulburn to Batemans Bay on another perfect spring day. We can’t believe how many dead wombats we are seeing on our drive today! Stopped in Braidwood for the AdLab, Bonus cache and some morning tea. Sorted out the numbers for GZ and got the green tick from the checker. Day 5 of our NSW holiday from Wangaratta, Victoria. SL at 11.05am Left: black feathers pathtag. Replaced the torn zip lock bag. #10,334 TFTADVENTURE StrangeTrousers
After finding a nice lunch in the hotel bistro this AL took me to, I continued on to find the cache.
A bit damp inside but I left my mark.
Thanks for the AL and cache.

Solved and found with [@coybear2000](http://coord.info/PR9547H) . We were in Braidwood for lunch with friends, and after we decided to go for a walk. What better way than by doing an AL. For the first time we wandered in streets other than the main road. We soon had the needed info and worked out GZ. A short walk and a short search and we had CIH. The inside of the container was damp and so was the logbook, but a moment in the sun dried it sufficiently for us to sign. All replaced and we headed off. TFTAL & TFTC.

Teamnanbombana, Membsec, Nyssaflutterby were on the coast for EC weekend.
Heading back towards the airport now but time for some stops along the way.
I loved Braidwood, I think it was my favourite town that we saw over the 5 days.
I loved the church, the cottages and finding a little free library as well.
TFTC and for bringing us to Briadwood.

Thank you!
Thank you!
Spending a couple of days in and around ACT with 3 Queenslanders and 1 Tasmanian, then down to the coast for a few days! Weather not great so we have been trying to get caches that are not long walks so we can keep reasonable dry.
Due to this weekend being “Earthcache Day” we were aiming at doing as many Earthcaches as possible and anything else that we thought was worth a stop. Found with Nyssaflutterby, teamnanabombane and wombles&co.
On our way back to Canberra to go our separated ways unfortunately. We couldn’t resist this one because it looked doable in the time frame we had, however there’s roadworks being done for one of the AL stage but wombles&co had a book to swap in the nearby book library so that helped us to entry the site. Successfully done!
A quick walk to GZ and we signed the log as QTAS to save space and time.
Thanks

Off to the south coast of NSW for a week. TFTC.
Always love a bonus cache. Quick find.
Always love a bonus cache. Quick find.
I wasn't really sure whether I'd get away for this caching trip, but in the end I bit the bullet and headed out for a few days through the southern NSW countryside. The roads were a minefield of potholes, fuel prices were off the chart and nearly every cache had some form of water damage from the recent big wet but that didnt detract from the fun.
Thanks to all the CO's for contributing to my caching finds on this 2-day trip. Apologises for not writing something unique about each find. TFTC

TFTC and the great Adventure lab. Leaving today for Bungendore. I’m visiting from the Hunter Valley. I have loved wandering around Braidwood and looking at the old buildings.
I really enjoyed this lab and checking out the old historic buildings,I planned my path perfectly as GZ was close to my last AL location which was another great spot in the lab!
Thanks for the lab adventure and for showing me some cool old locations

On a crazy windy day with some rain thrown in for a little extra fun, with GreyHams we set out for a day of caching as you do! A loop out through Bungendore, Braidwood, Captains Flat and back through QBYN before an event later in the afternoon back in Canberra.
A day of Multis and ALs, the craziest of wind that wanted to rip the car doors off when you opened them and a little dodging needed of the branches and bits that fell from the trees along the way...
Still, it was a good day out and we didn't stray too far from the car which was just what was best for the day it turn on! Thanks for the cache!!!

Aquilus1 and I spent a horrible wet, windy do doing what everyone should: caching in the car.
A little loop taking us out through Bungendore & Braidwood doing lots of multi's, then back through Captains Flat, with a bonus AL in Queanbeyan as we were going to be early for the Xmas event.
All hides found relatively easily, thank you to all the CO's for placing.

It was a day out and about Bungendore and Braidwood with the FFLL ladies and the ladies picked the best day to do it. It was a warm day with the sun shining and our main target was to get some multi's under our belts. A day of lots of laughs and quite a few caches found, including multi's, puzzles, traditionals, adventure labs and even an earthcache. Finished the day off getting caught in a hail storm on the way home, was a day of all kinds of weather.
Did the A/L for this one a while back, but due to time constraints, I had to make my way back to Canberra, so didnt have the time to grab the bonus. So today we swung past the GZ and I grabbed the cache to scribble my name into it.
Thanks for the cache placement StrangeTrousers and thanks for the lovely day out FFLL ladies.

Going back through our GSAK data base we have found 4 adventure lab bonus caches that we completed late last year but some how or other forgot to log these caches online so we are rectifying that now 7 months later
We enjoyed our tour around Braidwood checking out the old buildings. We were rewarded with a set of co-ords at the end that lead us to the this bonus cache which was found easily and our name was added to the log before returning everything as found
Thanks Strange Trousers for the adventure lab and the bonus

Great wander around Braidwood. Found the bonus eventually – it really was a good hiding place although when I first looked I thought it was a bit of rubbish. TFTC
A caching day with Contesta, 6.30 am to about 8 pm. We did the Captains Flat Braidwood Bungendore circuit. We had a few options in Braidwood and this AL seemed to be quite good fun to attempt. After a bit of a struggle to find the info at WP1 we quickly had the remaining info for a quick find at gz. TFTC.

Lockdown has bought a totally different approach to caching with the introduction of homework! Much time for homework in fact. Therefore many more puzzles solved, both as a solo and collective effort. Thanks to my fellow geo buddies for assistance when needed.
And in between there are still some traditionals, though not nearly as many of them left these days
Out with Marmaduke Rothschild for a drive interstate and in the country because we can.
Logs all in good condition unless otherwise noted.
Thanks to StrangeTrousers for putting out and maintaining all of these caches for our enjoyment!

#11852 - 10:52:00 AM; Another day and another caching run with Sol de lune to meet our calendar day challenges. Braidwood was our destination of choice today as we build our number for 19 July. Fifteen finds with a single DNF for today's mission, with all our found caches in good order. Collected the information on earlier visits and happy to stop off for the bonus today. Added a little cammo to conceal the cache container as we left. TFTC StrangeTrousers
Out with LuckyL10n for a run to Braidwood and this was our last (GC) stop for the day

Apologies Strangetrousers it appears I forgot to log this when I found it Barb2e and Kittykatch running out to first Bungendore then Braidwood for 2 FTF's. It was a fun day. Lovely AL investigating the old buildings around. TFTC Strangetrousers
Although very cold this morning, I think that the breeze was coming straight off the snow, it turned into a glorious day for caching. I visited Pa and decided to come home via Braidwood to pick up some more caches to build my numbers for this date but I needed a multi and a mystery as well. Having completed the lovely, interesting AL I had the coordinates for this bonus so it was a quick trip to GZ to find the cache.
An easy find and after removing a couple of slimy guardians it was with pleasure that I added my name to the log before replacing in its hidey hole, TFTC and AL Strangetrousers.

Eagle Eyed Monkey Girl and I drove up from Sydney for a long weekend around Braidwood for some fun at Vic Widman's off road training centre. Of course some caches needed to be found!
Upon arrival on the Friday we walked around for the Braidwood Buildings AL, and of course we also walked around for the Bonus Cache. That was an easy find.
Thanks for the AL and Bonus StrangeTrousers!

Find Number 2186 found at 13:59. Today we found 4 regular caches and 5 Lab caches. We had 0 DNFs.
Day 1 of our 5-day road trip with granddaughter Charlicorn1500. Today we drove from home to Yass, stopping at Braidwood to solve the series of multicaches there and to do the Historic Buildings Adventure Lab. Unfortunately we didn't have time to find the multi's. Maybe next time.
After a pleasant tour of the historic buildings of Braidwood, we calculated GZ and were happy to see something which matched the hint. Charlicorn1500 made the find.
The cache was in good condition. We took nothing, left nothing, signed the log and replaced the container as found
Thanks StrangeTrousers for the cache.

Out with TikvaNZ to grab a few Sunday afternoon caches in Bungendore and Braidwood. A gorgeous day to be out and about, and a good chance to pick up a few multis, an older cache and a cache with an interesting DT combination.
This cache: enjoyed doing this AL while wandering around doing the other multis. As expected with the CO, some interesting architecture on view. Cache quickly retrieved.

Starting from Murrumbateman, we set a course for the coast. Every cache type popped up on our map, some in large numbers. With limited time, it is easy to see we will need to make another trip to this part of the state.
After collecting the numbers from the info in the Ad Lab, it was off to GZ.
Satellites today had our GZ 11 metres south west of where we found the cache.
Thanks StrangeTrousers for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Out for an after work drive to top up my find numbers for the day. I needed 12 caches, which is now hard to do in Canberra, so chose to visit Braidwood. I waited till after 7pm, so that the lab caches would count for today rather than yesterday, then steadily ticked them off. Once completed, I worked out GZ, and headed here for an easy find. TFTC.

Yay! What a great way to finish the tour. Have really enjoyed exploring this historic little town. A great way to spend the afternoon. Thanks for all your work pulling this together. Thanks for the cache.
This was very interesting AL and great to have a bonus - yay. A quick find at GZ. TFTC.
This AL was completed in two parts! On the way to Narooma on Wednesday, we completed the 3 lab stops towards the centre of town; and on the way home this afternoon, we completed the final 2 plus the bonus! All the historic spots were awesome to visit and have a closer look at; especially since the Hotel was the only thing we had noticed on previous visits! The Church was especially cool! I loved how in classic StrangeTrousers fashion, all location descriptions tied in with architecture! Funny thing though, I had issue naming "the equipment" so thankfully Mum was there to point out its name: it must be an age thing! At GZ (next to a lovely building indeed), it was a very quick and easy grab. TNLNSL. TFTC ST!
Tankengine and I came into Braidwood for a couple of reasons. But one being to collect a few outstanding caches we have around town that have been published.
All caches found with ease and little issues. There was some interesting spots highlighted and it was nice to have the opportunity to see more of Braidwood rather than I usually just drive through to the coast.
Thank you Tankengine for your company and assistance today. It was a lot of fun! I'm so glad we got everything we wanted (and more) ticked off our list. I didn't think we would get all the caches in town as well, so that made an extra bonus.
This Cache: A nice AL. Drove and walked to waypoints with lunch and some other caches done in between. Quick find at GZ, although I must admit I was worried at first where I saw it would be, but on approach it was looking good and made a quick find. Tftc StrangeTrousers!!!

Chooo ooo [found] - with dty73! We set out to do some caching in Bungendore and Braidwood today - and success - we cleaned out those two towns! (Again)(Well for now anyway)... Enjoyed this AL, but thinking it would have been nicer if the questions related to the buildings instead of light poles... Thanks for the cache StrangeTrousers, and thanks for the company dty73!

Heading out to Bateman's Bay today for the penultimate leg of our roadtrip, we set off in threatening skies and a light drizzle, only to have a cracker of a caching day, managing 44 assorted finds with only a few DNFs.
We grabbed a selection of caches along Captains Flat Rd before cruising through Bungendore and onwards to Braidwood. Another interesting AL too, with some fun searches as well. The final was a quick find under the watchful eyes of some friendly labs too.... TFTC!

Found today on our roadtrip, today is day 4. We managed 38 GC finds and a couple of GA ( Geocaching Australia). Cool Cache, took us a bit after some shenanigans with some previous finds but eventually finished it
