Did the AL yesterday and had the most enjoyable day in Rainbow Beach. Dyer camping at Inskip point we're getting back on the road south, but not without stopping for the bonus. Already on the way into town we were wondering why there was no cache at this location, now we know better.TFTC
Thanks for this adventure lab and bonus cache. We wouldn't have gone to Seary Creek otherwise. It was beautiful.
Today, I was out in the geomobile heading North, in order to visit the Tin Can Bay area. This region has been on my hit list for a while, as there are two caches here that I need in order to qualify and complete a challenge cache. I started the drizzly day off in the Kia Ora area, working through Toolara Forest and Wallu, before arriving in Tin Can Bay for morning tea and some tree fishing. I then went over to Cooloola Cove, passing some caches on the way and doing a bit of wading in town. I then went to Rainbow Beach, passing Great Sandy NP and Seary's creek as I drove North-East. I then arrived to be greeted by constant rain, gale force winds and the occasional flash of lightning. Not the best conditions but at least it made all my searches muggle-free. I then rounded the day off heading up to Inskip Point to grab the new multi up there, before returning home back the way I came, down the M1 via Gympie. A great day for an overcast one!Whilst exploring Rainbow Beach on this rather dismal-looking day, I was able to procure 4 of the 5 waypoints with only a little bit of difficulty. Unfortunately I had no reception at Seary's Creek so I couldn't do that one. However, I was only missing one digit from the equation so I was able to attain the final coordinates easily thanks to the checker. After visiting Inskip Point, I made my way to this cache on the way out of Rainbow Beach. Parked up nearby and strolled over to quickly find the cache. All is in good shape here. Thanks for the AL and cache Nyssaflutterby!
We had the opportunity to spend some time exploring the region and were lucky to have perfect winter weather for it. We visited some wonderful sites, enjoyed some spectacular views and discovered some interesting history along the way. We enjoyed visiting all the spots completing the associated AL and then stopped on our way home to make the find here. There was one little snail attached to the cache so we took care not to disturb it too much. Thanks Nyssaflutterby
a nice quick find with a guardian snail. signed the log and replaced the cache gently back in position so as not to harm the snail. TFTC
Bonus! Woohoo! Great photo opportunity too.Signed as The Roos with drobbonz kimmy533 and kiwisteve2. Staying in Maryborough in the Doon Villa SC RV park and exploring the area before heading north. Tftc
The adventure lab was brilliant! Each and every point was a beautiful location! Thanks for the AL! A favourite point from me!
Completed the Ad Lab and performed the calculations. Received the tick from the Checker. Short drive later had cache in hand no snails were disturbed on the search of this cache. Signed log YOF. Favourite point for this one. Log replaced with permission of CO Nyssaflutterby.TFTC Nyssaflutterby
Gut gefunden. Nach dem sehr schnen Lab haben wir uns auf dem Heimweg die Belohnung abgeholt. Die Dose konnten wir gut finden. Passte ja perfekt. Danke fr den Cache Well found. After the very nice lab, we picked up the reward on the way home. We were able to find the container easily. It fit perfectly. Thanks for the cache
Quick find after doing the interesting Ad Lab, a fitting place for the bonus! TFTC!
A nice wee bonus to add to an awesome Adlab. Needs a new log desperately. TFTC
After discovering (almost) all the lab cache locations, we stopped on our way home at the most likely location and found the cache straight away. Thanks for the bonus cache.TFTC!

I really struggled with the Al and reception and getting the answers to go in. With three in after going up and down from the beach and then losing reception for each next waypoint I managed to get enough to guess the GZ. I had parked almost next to it when I calculated it!?!
A quick find with the hint.

Found the AdLabs over a series of days. We chipped away at these and managed to get them all done.
Then it was a case of “what’s next?”.
Ah ok… we soon managed to squirrel the answers into a suitable formula and sure enough the checker loved it.
We soon headed to GZ by which we had passed many times and found the sneaky cache tucked away.
All is well and the cache, container and log are in excellent condition.
I visited 3 TB.

We are on our long-awaited journey around the world in 99 days. Second try after canceling in 2020.
Our fourth stop after Los Angeles, Hawaii and New Zealand is Australia.
This time was of course used to find some geocaches here.
Yesterday we played the ALC and today we were searching for the Mystery **All the Colours of Rainbow - AL Bonus Cache**
Thank to the Hint and the good coordinates the little box was found quickly!
After signing the logbook there is a new smile on our geocaching map!
At least we would like to take this opportunity to thank Nyssaflutterby for creating and maintaining this Mystery.

Together with my favorite geocacher Milonguera we traveled to Australia We went to Melbourne via Singapore and from there we explored the south, the center and the east coast.
We walked around Melbourne and had a nice meet & greet event. Than we visited Philip Island with the pinguins and the Great Ocean Road. We fed and petted kangaroos visited the koalas and continued north via Coober Pedy to Alice Springs. We hiked around the impressive Uluru and through the beautiful Kata Tjuta and breathtaking Kings Canyon. The gorges of the Macdonell-Ranges are nice too. We traveled north and than east to Townsville and Magnetic Island. From Airlie Beach we rafted to the Whitsunday Islands for snorkeling and swimming at Whitehaven Beach and took a seaplane to the Great Barrier Reef.
On the way south we visited the capricorn coast, Great Keppel Island, 1770, Bundaberg, Rainbow Beach and Noosa.
**Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for showing the location and for hiding the cache. You should come to Berlin in Germany to find a lot of interesting geocaches, visit lost places in the surrounding Brandenburg and meet nice people at many events.
I wish you a lot of fun and great adventures while searching for the next geocache!**
Ich bedanke mich bei Nyssaflutterby für den Cache, das Zeigen dieses Ortes, das Legen und Pflegen der Dose und den Spaß beim Finden! Thanks for the cache!

Straight forward find once we got on the correct side of the road! Thanks for placing this cache and the setting up the associated adventure lab.
Our last cache at Rainbow Beach, couldn't leave without finding it. The AL was great fun. We enjoyed the walk to Carlo's Blow and the long walk along the beach, and Mrs Bear loves everything colourful anyway. Appreciated the easy questions, too.
No snails were hurt making this find.

I very rarely get the opportunity to visit Rainbow Beach and its surrounds. I've driven through a few times on the way to Fraser Island but never actually stayed onsite to enjoy the delights on offer. I was fortunate to be able to change that situation over both long weekends in October with a camping stay in the Sarawak campgrounds with Swellerfungus and JezNDez.
On the first weekend we were able to visit four of the lab cache locations while JezNDez beach debuted their new 4WD. On the following visit the information for the last waypoint was obtained. This was while Swellerfungus was doing his award winning impersonation of "homeless-man-sleeping-on-park-bench". While we initially wondered what he was up to, we soon realised he was in the midst of being struck down by the gastro outbreak which was sweeping through the camp ground that weekend. Not so funny after all!
Fungus managed enough of a recovery next day for us all to head off for a swim in a local creek, and we proposed to stop by GZ on the way. With another car sitting close up my tail, in my attempts to pull off the road to access GZ, I managed to dislodge a water bladder sitting in the back seat, with water promptly sloshing around in the rea footwells. The attempt at retrieving the cache was quickly abandoned for the clean up effort, with the cache being left for another day.
That day arrived today, on the drive home from a week staying on Fraser Island to celebrate a milestone birthday with my friends and family. With no car tail-gating me today, a much better approach was made to GZ. A short walk later and I soon located the cache, signing the log to finally bring an end to this Adventure Lab journey. TFTC

We had so much fun on our holidays getting all the targets for the lab... we then made a quick stop as we headed for home and despite the rough track off the road found this bonus quickly! TFTC and the memories
We didn’t have the time on the day we did the AL to backtrack, and so it was a perfect excuse to need to come back to rainbow. That and we just had to have a swim in that awesome creek. So today on the spur of the moment (always the best adventures IMO) we decided to make the trek. As it happened it was also the last day to PYO strawberries at the Cooloola farm where we had lunch. At GZ I nearly thought the cache had been muggled as I couldn’t find it. Totally baffled, I actually looked at the hint. Hahaha of course it had been staring me right in the face . We love this place so much! We checked out the campgrounds at inskip point and planned our next trip before here heading home. Best leave some caches to donfor then …
Visiting Rainbow Beach for a family holiday and picking up a few previously unfound caches. After completing the labs yesterday and enjoying the tour, we headed out to pick up the final and can safely say no snails were harmed retrieving this one.

Enjoyed doing the lab with misssusan and mugglemoore friends and geokids. I love rainbow Beach and it was a quick find at gz. Tftc
Found with lisylou, my geokids and MuggleMoores. Not everyone has the adventure labs app but all were present along the journey.
Enjoyed finding all the colours of Rainbow beach, a great AL taking you to all the good sights in and around town. Worked out the final and found it without any trouble. Thanks for the AL and bonus Nyssaflutterby
We were pleased to have collected the clues after a very enjoyable walk around visiting the points of interest. With the coords loaded we stopped by GZ where the cache was spotted. Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks Nyssaflutterby. Fav from us!
After seeing the sites of Rainbow Beach by completing the AL, I stopped here to collect the final.
Thanks Nyssaflutterby for a fun lab and cache.
Thanks Nyssaflutterby for a fun lab and cache.
Spent the morning visiting the adventure lab locations - 1st time doing this kind of cache and loved it. Had a bit of a brain fart when it came to finding the final coordinates but a quick message to the CO and were were sorted. Had to do a few laps to find somewhere safe to pull off the main road to grab the cache. Very fond of this cache.
We had great fun visiting Rainbow Beach for my birthday. We've been up here numerous times for daytrips and holidays but this Adventure Lab still managed to show us a place that we'd never been - the rainbow stairs, which was great!
It was bit of a cool overcast day but we still tried out my new cool cabana to have lunch on the beach, then walked along towards the coloured sands to the AL location down there.
Great views from Carlo sandblow with the impending storm closing in from the direction of Double Island Point. Always such an amazing view.
Heaps more rainbows up here than last we visited...
After figuring out the co-ordinates for this cache, we stopped by on our way out of town. One snail was still nearby. Great artwork.

Fraser Island and the surrounding beachside locations have been on my bucket list for many years so I jumped at the chance when charmad asked me to join him and Triple Turmoil on a 4WD camping trip on the Anzac Day long weekend. This was an awesome adventure with great weather, lots of laughter with many a joke and story telling, sleeping under the stars, spotting six dingoes and many beautiful birds that I've never seen before. I was amazed at the amount of lakes we visited, all very different but such a pleasure to see them.
Day three and in beautiful Rainbow Beach trying to finish off the last couple of WP's of the AL. The phone service by the biggest provider was terrible today and we had trouble opening the final one. It's lovely to get a bonus cache which was easy to work out and a nice quick find once at GZ, a favourite point from me

A three day camping road trip with Snickersallan, Triple turmoil and myself was organised to see Fraser Island, Rainbow Beach and Double island point. What a fantastic time we had; driving around enjoying the scenery, bush walks, visiting lakes, lunch and dinners on the beach, and a great camp site at Dundubara. The trip was full of laughs and great companionship, thank you.
Day 3 and it was the caches around Rainbow Beach and Double Island Point. More 4wding and some great places to visit. The caches today consisted of a few Trads, a virtual, an adventure lab and an earth cache.
This lab took us 3 days to do, lol. We did a couple before we left for Fraser Island and then another when we got back and then today to finish it off. With phone service a little hit and miss we had troubles at one way point but finally got it sorted. Found this bonus easy enough, thanks for the adventure.

Still don't know what pigs doI have never had the opportunity to visit Fraser Island. Chamad wanted an adventure. A road trip and I am super grateful that he took me along. We had a 3 day road trip, on Fraser Island, Double Island Point and Rainbow beach, plus a detour on the way home to Brisbane through Gympie, Boreen Point and Noosa. Snickersallen joined us too and it was great to meet someone new, especially someone fun to cache with. So many laughs, frustrations and more laughs. Lots achieved. Some road blocks preventing some wanted achievements, but we enjoyed ourselves anyway. This was day 3 of our adventure, back on the mainland.
It was so much fun to do the AL to get the coords for this cache.
We enjoyed the beautiful locations which we had visited before, but a lot has changed too.
Our grandkids and their parents loved the spots as well.
Tft fun we had. A fav point.

I was lucky enough to be invited to join a group of friends on a weekend away at Double Island Point. While I had already found the majority of caches targeted by the others, this was one I had not yet found. After completing the adventure lab, we soon had the information required to locate this bonus cache.
Thank you Nyssaflutterby for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

I was lucky enough to be part of Team Dipa... (we definitely had conversations about whether it was pronounced diaper or dipper) which consisted of 4 cars carrying... Fangsoki, 1MinnieMoo, Radnoski, Team Herbz, Mrs Just-a-Trifle, KBreeAhh, Ponchomon11, Captain Terror, Crew 153, Pprime and OzBeanCounter.
It was day 2 which sadly meant we had to return to Brisbane after a great day along the beach yesterday and a brilliant night camping with friends last night. Whilst we were in Rainbow Beach grabbing the needed info we decided to grab a bite to eat. I went to order my cheeseburger and realised I had been on a holiday to Bali with the woman behind the counter who is friends with my parents. After a chat I joined the others again and we planned out the rest of the day. This geocache was found without much issue having 13 of us. I did have to laugh along the way as OBC realised why everything was rainbow. TFTC Nyssaflutterby

In late October, I found myself on a work trip to Fraser Island. Unlikely, I know but it's true. On the way home in the truck, we opted for the route back to Brisbane via the Rainbow Sands and Teewah Beach. Just hours later, this geocache was published. Isn't it always the way!
For some reason, another trip up to Double Island Point was planned. Not that a trip away needs a reason and this one was for geocaching purposes anyways. It'd be a one-nighter, the full length of Teewah Beach, camping at Freshwater with four vehicles and thirteen geocaching mates. In the convoy was KBreeAhh, Ponchomon11, Crew 153, Fangsoki, 1MinnieMoo, Just a Trifle, Herbz, Radnoski, Net88, Pprime and oz_bean_counter.
This is day two and we roll into the lovely Rainbow Beach in the middle of the day to say g'day. This geocache was a given, but first, lunch. And where I'd eaten in October was where this group ended today. A tasty meal with views of the ocean, the world and the propellor from the Cherry Venture. Then, onto some Labs.
Somehow, I had never seen the rainbow stairs before. Now I know where they are! And able to revisit some other highlights of this quirky, enjoyable, scenic town. (Searys is still a favourite)
Onto the Bonus! we were kinda guaranteed to get to the right place with a few previous finders. And I was a bit excited; after the convoy stopped, I was first out and along to GZ for a quick find. No snail friends though!
All in good condition here. I signed my name, then got abused for not knowing we had some acronym for the weekend. Oopsie. Replaced as found and now to head towards Gympie. Thanks for this enjoyable Adventure Lab tour, and the bonus geocache, Nyssaflutterby

Wow - what an amazing weekend away with good mates: Fangsoki, oz_bean_counter, 1MinnieMoo, Crew153, Mrs Just-a-Trifle, Radnoski, KBreeAhh, Ponchomon11, Team Herbz, Captain Terror and net88 ... collectively logging as 'DIPA' (Double Island Point Adventurers) ... over the river from Tewantin, up the beach to Double Island Point itself, overnight at the campground, then inland to Rainbow Beach and back along the road to Gympie. Truly stunning scenery, amazing night, ocean, sand and friends. The best.
After plenty of sand and sea, we hot civilisation, an underbody wash for my girl and some air in her tyres, and lemon-pepper calamari for yours truly. A few little side treks - they get a bit tougher after the first two in this heat and then a short drive (or two) and viola a cache in a great spot on theme. I have been to/through Rainbow Beach a few times now but will admit to never having stopped to smell the roses so to speak before. It is a very pretty, and colourful, place.
Thanks Nyssaflutterby for entertaining me at this location.

The DIPA group had arrived in Rainbow Beach after a drive along the beach from Noosa and a night camped at Freshwater Creek. The run around the Lab series was on our plans along with a lunch for 13 at The Deck.
The cache was quickly located.

What a beautiful location for an adventure lab (and this old dunce really appreciates the easy questions!).
I have to admit that when I saw all the rainbows, I thought, wow this town has a lot of pride! Wahoo great to see. #represent
Then I realised it was a rainbow for Rainbow Beach, not a rainbow for LGBT pride. Hahahahahaha ooops. I can be dense sometimes. But either way, it's all good.
Thanks for taking me here great spot. Cache and log are in good condition.

We've stopped off at the Veterans Retreat in Kia Ora, and plan to base ourselves here for a few days.
Today we tackled the caches in Rainbow Beach and Tin Can Bay.
We thoroughly enjoyed the Adventure Lab, but had some difficulty accessing "Rainbow Beach" due to the high tide. (We sid find an alternative route though).
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache exactly where our GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Nothing
Thank you for adding to our adventure.

Ian & Penny

Found. It was fun following the adventure around Rainbow Beach and solving the puzzle. Thanks for the Cache. Favourite.
Great final location for this puzzle cache.

My first mystery cache, and an absolute blast to follow the adventure, and solve the puzzle!

Really loved this adventure. Took us to some beautiful spots and so glad you did. We wouldn’t have discovered those gems without the dots on the map!! Leaving you a fave for the fun.
Logging old caches originally found with alphag_25. Now have my own account and logging them separately so that I can claim the finds.
24/12/20 255pm Completed all stages and got GZ. Found it. SL Completed with Caitlyn1105
After getting a nudge from the ever helpful CO on the AL I came up with a good set of coordinates, staying at the van park and set off on foot to the final GZ, arrived soon after and quickly spotted the cache, log retrieved and signed, all returned as found, no snails here today...
Many thanks to the CO for the Adventure Lab with the bonus puzzle.
A definite favourite point, thanks for placing, the puzzle and bringing me to

Enjoyed visiting the various WPs around Rainbow Beach.
TFTC Nyssaflutterby a fav from me.

Camping with T-Tech at Freshwater and today we drove out to Rainbow Beach to chase down the new AL. We made it as short a journey as possible due to the excessive heat, but managed to get to all the WPs. I remembered learning about rainbows in science at school so had no trouble sorting out the numbers for this one. And we made a very quick find at GZ. TFTC, Nyssaflutterby.
After a great trip round Rainbow Beach collecting answers towards the coords for the bonus cache, we arrived at GZ for a nice easy find. Parked within about 2 meters of the cache and soon had the log signed and returned as found. Thanks for the AL and bonus cache which deserve a favourite point for the adventure. TFTC Nyssaflutterby
I enjoyed the AL as it took me to all the places I wanted to visit, and this cache was a bonus on the tour. Highlight of the tour was the Carlo Sandblow
Nice work on the final location and hide. No snails were harmed during my visit

1MinnieMoo made the suggestion of going to grab this one when we made plans to go to Nambour with Radnoski. It's just a small jaunt up the highway
We enjoyed going about collecting our clues in the beautiful area. 1MinnieMoo calculated a final and we were off.
Hmmmm... I have deja vu of being here with the cache owner before We soon found the prize safe and sound and signed the log.
A great little Adventure and a great little bonus cache. TFTC Nyssaflutterby

7/11/20 Find #4327
I was aware of this set of Adventure Labs coming out, and was quite excited by the idea of it, such a lovely way to symbolise Rainbow Beach and all its beautiful offerings.
Well I was keen for Fangsoki and I to get up here and do these, and “taste the Rainbow” so to speak, and as we had been booked to head to Nambour with Radnoski this morning, I threw in a begging and pleading request (ok it may not have required too much convincing at all ) that we perhaps continue our journey north after the Nambour non-caching mission (apparently there is such a thing - who’d have thought?!).
So with Nambour and then Eumundi markets done for the morning, we made our way north, only to discover another set of labs had also been published in Gympie. We decided to hit those up first, and finish our day’s adventures in Rainbow.
It comes as no surprise that we thoroughly enjoyed these labs, even if we couldn’t convince Radnoski to download the app and actually participate - he was happy enough playing with his camera today anyway while we went about our business.
But what was a surprise was where this bonus cache was - for reasons known to the CO, Fangsoki, and just a couple of others. I did have a laugh at least!
A fun filled adventure, and a fantastic theme throughout.
Thanks for the cache Nyssaflutterby.

A new cacher Dalai_Karma persuaded me to take the day off work in view to a possible line honours. You can’t beat people travelling north for other adventures though...and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I hate when work gets I the way, but I was dead keen to show Nyssa so me Cache-love-support, and get up here to find this thing.
I could say a lot...but sometimes it nots what you say, it what you don’t say!
A great use of locations and a lovely theme/puzzle to go along with it.
Do yourself a favour...find this one.
Keeping the 100% FP allocation thing going. Hopefully the stingey cachers who are taking them to the grave can selfishly allocate a FP here.
Thank you Nyssa ...for getting me back up that way.

We have left Brisbane to head north for just three or four days.
Since arriving in Brisbane three years ago, we have always looked forward to being able to visit this area and get to know this part of the coast a little bit more. Yesterday we got as far is Gympie, and spent the night there.
We had looked on the Geocaching map to see what we might go searching for today. Of course we were very surprised to see a Bonus AL still waiting to be found. This morning we took a slow trip to Rainbow Beach, finding a couple of geocaches along the way and then decided to collect this AL. What a great series of locations to have visited. It felt like we were truly shown a scenic tour of the most beautiful nature spots in and around Rainbow Beach.
Thanks Nysaaflutterby.
