This park has had some new work done to it, but still wont stop you getting the cache.I have stayed close by 4-5 times in the past and never seen this ache on the map before. Did not even know this park existed. So thanks for showing me a new place CO.Cheers.
Headed down the Gold Coast to do some caching with RoddyC, Hatzofff and Team Benders and Hinze Dam AL was near the top of our list. Completed the enjoyable AL then off to find more caches. We all needed this horsey cache and it sure was a sneaky hide. The log was signed by all before replacing cache as found. TFTC
With hatzofff, Imbunda and Team Benders. What a great horse park!Log signed and cache replaced as found at 12:38 PM on July 12, 2024. TFTC, Auswanderers.

Took a wander with Hatzofff RoddyC and Imbunda to GZ. I was lucky enough to spot this one. Signed the log and returned to where found. Thanks Auswanderers. All good with this cache.

Tftc auswanderers, spent some time here having a look Plenty of holes that had potential.Wasn't until we googled the hint that we looked closer at a spot we had searched before but not good enough.Think D rating on this could be raised. Sneaky, Thanks.
This is a nice area to pull in to, through the gate and on to GZ. The coords were right for us here which made for a quick find. Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks Auswanderers for this one.
29/11/2023 Find #6744Wednesday Wandering Madness hasnt happened as frequently in the past few months, but today I managed to snare Crew153 for a day out with me. Luckily for me he also enjoys using his GSAK to decide where we should go. We wandered over and really werent all that sure as to where the cache could be. We walked up and down the fence line with ideas of what Olympic sport it could possibly refer to, and I even headed over to the tyres and was very glad to make the decision that it wouldnt be in them as they were full of water and rubbish. Back around nearer to where the phone had GZ and Crew153 mentioned something. I then looked at one particular spot and voila! We had ourselves a cache. Thanks for the cache Auswanderers.
Out for a Wednesday Wander with 1MinnieMoo to clear a few of our mutual unfound caches in the area.We found the correct entrance and then strolled to the cache location. We searched a number of spots before the penny fell on the answer to the riddle and then it was a quick find.TFTC Auswanderers
My dad came to show me this little park and was actually the one to spot it! Very nice little place, tftc!
The Wizards at UU are able to come down alive and have a big dinner in relative calm since the arrival of Ridcully (unless the Bursar is insane for the moment or there is major magical disturbance in the vicinity.)
CaptainVimes spotted this one after we'd narrowed down the list of sports. Thanks for the fun Auswanderers
No luck here despite a good look around, I couldn't make sense of the hint either. Not my day
I would never have known this park was here and i found the cache due to the fun clue. The bonus with this cache is it helping me qualify for a challenge cache GC9YTB9 which i have a long way to go. Thanks for taking me here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
We're frequent visiters to hinze dam but somehow managed to drive past this one for the last few years.
Headed out today for another one so we stopped in to finally sign in.
Quick find while the sun was setting.
Thanks again Auswanderers

Found with The X-Trailers heading back to the coast . Write on paper has our stamp but not sure will stay as smudgy.

After a nice lunch at the Hinze Dam thought I'd swing by and find this cache that has been on my to-do list for quite some time.
Thanks Auswanderers for this sneaky hide, great hideout

A beautifully odd spot. The rock cairns at the entrance were very cool. Well hidden at GZ and after a bit of a search had hands on cache. The clever hint was a help to be sure! TFTC
Heading out to the dam for an earthcache for the souvenir. A nice quick stop on the way in a blissfully quiet park.
We were driving back down from Binna Burra and looked for a cache to find. This one showed itself as being unfound by us in a park where we used to have a cache called Thunderdome. Back then there wasn’t a gate at the opening. I don’t see why they really need a gate but I guess they had money they needed to spend.
We wandered in and towards GZ. It took us to an area where no one should usually have to worry about muggles. While I was glancing about wondering where the hide might be Aussie Bob found what we were looking for.
Thanks AusWanderers for bringing us back here to this hidden park and for placing the cache here.
Cheers and happy caching!

(although it looks like from the logbook, that someone visited here on 14/02/2021?)
Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I had planned a hike in Springbrook National Park. We descended into Waringa Pool and Purling Brook Falls, and were lucky to get a car park given how many people were enjoying Easter Friday today. A great little walk followed by a nearby lunch. We then scoped out the Tweed Caldera at Best of All Lookout.
On our return home, and given the recent heavy rain, we made a stop off at Hinze Dam, and greeted by the significant water release into the creek/river below.
I was intrigued by the past few logs indicating the resident chicken, so we wandered if we would see him today. Well as it turned out, he was nearby GZ as we rocked up! What a star! I tried to see if he could lead me to the cache container, but that didn't work, so it was up to some good old fashioned manual searching. We ended up being here for a good 10+ minutes until finally locating the cache, in a very sneaky hiding spot! The cache container and logbook were in good shape, although it looks like the previous visitor did not put the logbook back in the lid, and hence the thread was hardly done up. The difficult could definitely be higher given the myriad of possible other hiding spots around here. Thanks Auswanderers for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Yes, we spotted the chicken today too (is this the increased surveillance mentioned in the nearby sign?) A quick wander over the field and it wasn't long till I had the cache in hand.

Peppa and I were met at the car by the friendliest rooster (well chicken actually). Broke out the muesli bar for our new friend. After a walk across the very wet park I let Peppa do the honors of logging the cache while I thoughtfully watched the water level rise so I could tell Peppa where to cross on the way back so he wouldn't step in up to his ankles (again). I really am a considerate caching partner.
We were going to drive past this cache until I noticed that it had only been found once... this park for PirateLinda and I will forever be known as “chicken park”... we were greeted by a very friendly rooster... after PirateLinda fed it the last of our snacks (there goes dinner) we headed into the park...
After reading the lengthy description I was sent in to find the cache due to the fact that the entire area was flooded thanks to the recent rain... the causeway was quite impressive...
Made our marks and once we got past the killer rooster we were off... tftc...
I tried to lure dinner into the car but it was having none of that...

Actually out doing a maintenance run on some new cache I've adopted when the message pinged through. I was about 20 mins away but I know this park because it's close to my workplace so I thought I'd give it a go.
The traffic was a bit murderous but I was soon at my destination.
This is a lovely park!! Worthy of a cache.
It's didn't take long to locate the sneaker and stamp a nice clean piece of paper.
Thanks for the cache Auswanderers
