Last time I was here there was a footy game happening, so it was nice to be able to grab this with no muggles today. Great overnight camp here too. Heading across to Adelaide, stopping at Wyperfeld National Park for an astronomical weekend. Always enjoying the adventure!Thank you smw92 for placing this game piece here, contributing to this great game for myself and others to enjoy. Happy trails!

Alot easier and quicker to find when the footy isn't on. Came here a few weeks back, and the joint was absolutely checkers, so I gave it a miss. This time round there was a lonely dog walker. Cache in great condition.

Found at 12:38 PM GAFF1.Arrived at the recreational reserve and were pleased to see that we could camp for free here. Set up the van, had some lunch of home made pastrami on sourdough bread and then off to explore the area. We were last here in 2017 doing honeysucker's The J539 cache which on reading our log we had a lot of fun with a couple of local cachers. Then before that it was in 2011! There weren't many caches in Dimboola in the early days that's for sure, but all has changed as there are now a heap to do Big GrinCache took a few minutes to locate as the GPSr was going all over the place and then eventually - and in a place that I first looked in - there it was just silently and stoically sitting there SadThanks to smw92

Sunday morning, with an early start for the day - heading to Horsham, after a few days in Murray Bridge with fellow Victorians Suscoe. The drive being punctuated by a number of detours and "rest stops" to cache our way.
The world is buzzing with football at the moment! Surprised this has remained in this location for as long as it has.

**FEEDBACK TO CO:** Found this cache lying on the ground in the open - returned to where we suspect it belongs

Thanks to smw92 for adding this cache to the gameboard.

TFTC smw92 for your cache Kick a Roo. We are travelling from Ararat to Dimboola today. Once parked up in Dimboola we unhitched the car and went caching. Our main target was the challenge caches along Nursery Road, however we detoured to Arkona for the AL first and then targeted a few of the traditionals in the area before we met the challenge.
We are camped at the recreation ground so after completing all we could around town we dropped by here before returning to the motorhome. Quick easy find.

Well there was an event I saw published in Bordertown hosted by Roaming Howie and since I was able to have 4 days off I decided to head over to attend the event and then to also do a few of the On Ya Bike series to finish off my D/T loop.
Throw a few oldies into the mix for my Ausmer grid and it was going to be a busy weekend with lots of Km’s.
So after attending an event, finding the ones required on the OYB series, surviving the heat then wind a forgotten challenge series then a few oldies and making it back to Victoria for the night it was time to head home.
Collecting caches that I come past as they say just one more.
A nicer day today with the heat turned down a bit.
I called into Dimboola on the way over and forgot to do this one so a side trip into here to find it.
Nice and quiet around here this morning.

Big things are continuing to happen! Are you joining the fun again in 2023?

An arvo drive to Dimmy. After securing a shiny i was then off to gather some smilies around the town.

With a couple of camper vans behind the shed i was a little iffy on this one. Thankfully the shed was empty and i made a quick n safe grab.

*Found on the 27 Nov 2022 @ 1:38 pm.*
*Cache find # 13697.*

In my quest to find enough caches in each LGA to qualify for one of the Whittlesea challenge caches, I made a short detour to this one to make the find.
Once I made it all the way to the end, I was able to make a quick find and sign the log.

**Thanks to smw92 for placing this cache.**

A very quiet spot here today for a quick and easy find, cache is all good

After the mega in Whittlesea over the past few days, e.gregory1, freddo and I headed home on a roundabout route via Bendigo and St arnaud to collect a few caches on the way.

Thanks for the cache

Cache found and logged on our roundabout mega tour and journey home.

November 2022. Time for the second Victorian Mega of the year. This time in Whittlesea. What is it with W's? Time for another epic road trip. Who will join our merry crew? We traveled from South Australia and camped in the pig pen. It rained. It blew. It was sunny. It was not sunny. All four seasons. Beautiful location and some awesome caches.

Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.

Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke für den Cache. Gracias por el caché. Bedankt voor de cache. Kiitos kätköstä. Zikomo posungira. Terima kasih untuk cache. Hvala cache. Köszönöm a cache. Nga mihi mo te keteroki. Dankie vir die kas.

Whittlesea Mega Wobble and Wade Tour: Day 1: No Entry - Wrong Way. Surprised

Once again myself and Anymules headed to Victoria for a Mega event ignoring the very familiar sign at the border. Wink As usual despite leaving early and only wanting to get to Ballarat we arrived at our overnight digs just as it was getting dark. [^] We stopped for a few new caches and lab caches, many caches were found and unless something stood out these will be generic logs. Cool

***Thanks smw92 for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Big Grin

**Stayed in Murrayville overnight - today we headed for the Border Track**

A nice early start this morning. After heading into Pinnaroo to grab a coffee, fuel and supplies we started our epic adventure. It was decided that we would *follow* tackle-head as he has been coming this area for **35 years**. With his faithful land cruiser and capable co-pilot / navigator we hit the road. Obviously whilst waiting for all the electrical / GPS devices to sync with the satellites, *tackle-head* - the man who has been coming to **these areas for 35 YEARS** missed the turn off... LAUGH!!! SO funny... After we had composed ourselves again the convoy headed towards the Border Track. I have been along here before but could not turn down the opportunity to go again - this time as a passenger.
With the UHF in full swing, a full 4WD, the groaning (henceforth known as 'The Stereo') from the back seat was loud, the laughs were many and unforgettable memories made as we travelled down this fantastic track and all of our supplies 'bouncing' around the canopy of the ute. Happy pants did a fantastic job driving and he absolutely thrived whilst driving this fantastic part of Australia. - Absolutely loved the whole trip. It certainly will be one that will not soon be forgotten.
The geocaches are a great bonus of our travels. It's amazing to see the country in the eyes of a Geocacher.
Our last cache for the day (gave me a total of 4 for the day) Wink
Didn't take long to make a straight forward find here with so many pairs of eyes searching. Cache and contents are in good order.
Thank you smw92 for highlighting this area and for adding this cache to our real-life treasure hunt. Appreciate your efforts. Big Grin

Found by Rebel Acts in the company of the Crew

A four day weekend gave us the opportunity to catch up with the rest of the Crew and head to South Australia to do the Border track and caches in the Big Dessert area, lots of laughs and good times were had over the weekend. There were plenty of good quality caches to be found along the way.

Today we did a few tracks around the Wyperfeld Park and Big Desert area, led by our tour guide tackle_head.

This is one of the caches found today. After a good nights sleep at the Dimboola Motel it was time to head to Rainbow to meet up with the others, so we grrabbed a couple of caches on our way out of town.

Thanks smw92 for the cache.
