I am regretfully archiving this cache since unfortunately there has been no action to restore it, or any communication from the cache owner, sammyd3741, requesting additional time.
An ample opportunity has been provided for the Cache Owner to respond, but since this opportunity has been ignored, I can only conclude that the cache has been abandoned.
Caches archived under these circumstances are unable to be Unarchived, and this location is now available for the placement of a new cache, by somebody else.

###Cache Maintenance Visit Required please.###
This geocache has been brought to my attention as needing an Owner Maintenance visit, as the logs indicate that it is most likely missing, or else some other problem exists with the cache. See the [GCHQ Health Score](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) process.
I agree that it certainly seems necessary to have it checked by the Cache Owner.
The cache owner needs to:
* Take action to restore the cache or address issues such as correcting the D/T rating.
* Re-enable the cache by posting an Enable log
* Post an Owner Maintenance log to advise what has been done and to clear any Needs Maintenance attribute which is present.
Otherwise :
* Post a Note Log to request more time if necessary or provide other information..
**Do not use an Owner Maintenance log for this. That is for use only **when you actually do something to repair the cache**.
Alternatively:
* Archive the cache, and remove any remaining geo-litter from the site.
In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page to await owner action by sammyd3741 and to take it off the playing board to prevent further geocaching community inconvenience.
[Please see the maintenance section of the Geocache Hiding Guidelines.](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance)
**I will check back in 30 days** to see that action has been by the CO.
If nothing has happened, I will assume that the cache has been abandoned, and, unfortunately, I will need to Archive this cache.
*Caches archived because of lack of maintenance/abandonment will not be unarchived.*
The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is in good condition, waiting to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.
Please see [my profile page](https://www.geocaching.com/p/default.aspx?u=Balayang) for additional information.
Thank you

Climbed the tree but found nothing but a small red peg.
Looks like previous claims of a smashed cache might be true.

No log to sign but evidence of bits and pieces so im claiming a found on travelling all the way from north queensland
Found bits of toys all over the place and something illegal so we think someone wasn’t themselves, found it and smashed it
I can see it but cant get it. Terrain 2!. I have a broken ankle. Luckily the branch that mr fwd stood on didn't break( it almost did) We are here at dusk. Just gorgeous. TFTC A fav for the view and being the only accessible in Strahan
Well, I did something today that I haven't done for years. It was so much fun years ago, but age takes the fun out of so many things. A unique cache. Enjoyed the challenge and the view,

Haha so cool! Our first find in tassie!! I like their style beautiful lookout too! Great way to find some spots we wouldn’t think of coming to!
Dawn at Strahan is the place to be.
What i like about geocaching is that a lot of the time we are taken away from the touristy stuff, thank you.

Oldmorty and I spotted the cache earlier when our coach was at the lookout. We made our way back up the hill after a trip to Ocean Beach.

Walked up with frazeydaze from our hotel accommodation after having sighted the cache container earlier in the day when we were in a touring group. Lovely views from gz. Thanks for placing this cache.
Great spot at sunset, glad we chose this one for it, well worth the trip up the hill
Of course some muggles came along just as I was putting the cache back. I left a TB and picked one up
Haha we were the ones that caught weirdobiker in the act. Cache found twice in 5 my mutes.
Learnt a bit more about caching from an expert.
Much appreciated!

Found with one of the junior cachers, who was most amused by this little adventure. Had to wait a while for Muggles to leave though. Unfortunately they arrived in between accessing and returning the cache and we had to wait a good 20 mins while they ate their lunch admiring the lovely view. Finally got it back in place. TNLNSL. Rickety old bones might have trouble accessing that. First one with a friend who will be hooked soon.
Great view! Thanks for placing a cache here. Monks 55 spotted it and with a big stretch had the cache in hand.
Tftc, didn’t sign because I didn’t think it’s a good time to turn up at Accident and Emergency!
Such a nice view we found the cache pretty quickly and had some fun climbing. It's such a nice location and a lovely little town.
Nice view. Found with John4068, after enjoying a World Heritage Cruise of Macquarie Harbour & the Gordon river, stopping off for a tour of Sarah Island & also to see Huon pine along the river.
Log in bad condition (mouldy etc so I’ve removed it and replaced with a water resistant style).

Eventually came up with the goods but had to get a taller muggle to grab it for us. TFTC SL.

Our second find for the day. Coordinates were out but after ruling out two possible locations we found the cache. Thanks
Failed last night in the darkness, found today. Great view. TFTF much fun, saijef & Charlie
A fantastic view! We had just finished up breakfast at view 42, so retrieving this cache was not so easily accomplished! Took a bit to find, but the suggested coordinates from 2y’stassies had us on track!
Thanks for the cache
Thanks for the cache
We came to Strahan today to complete maintenance on one of our caches and took the opportunity to look for this cache which has been published since our last visit. Although our GPS wanted us elsewhere, the hint directed our search and we soon located the cache. It didn't take long to retrieve the log. Unfortunately the log was nothing more than a few scraps of paper. We signed one of them. After securing the container we checked the coordinates and found that we were 12m from the published coordinates. We took a number of readings and the average was S42 08.906 E145 20.078. Thanks sammyd3741 for the cache.
On our quick lap around Tassie, Strahan was our first stop. We came up to the lookout when arrived yesterday but there was a muggle sitting nearby so we left and came back this morning.
No one up here on the is windy morning. Had a quick look and spotted the cache, climbed the tree and signed log. Tftc

Thanks for bringing us to this beautiful look out. Came here after the boat cruise. Sunny day . With dleggo.
Not the easiest to get to after a pint in the dark in work clothes! Got this one as celebration of my first visit to Strahan in 26 years!!
Thanks for the hide.. our first find in Strahan! We agree that once you see it it makes you laugh! Watch out for the jack jumpers though!
Out and about caching with whitewebbs on a lovely summers day and found your cache along the way. Great views were had from here, a worth while visit.
Co-ords were about 13 meters from GZ. Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Out and about caching with Tassie Trekkers on the West Coast of Tasmania from Zeehan to Strahan and this was one we found. Terrain needs to be more than 1.5 as you have to climb a tree. Coords out by 13 m. A pity this area is used as the local toilet as a great view. TFTC
