What a cute church! This was the hardest find today. The grass is higher than the posts and wrapped around them. Twisted through the grass is something remarkably sharp and prickly. And then there is the wire.I trampled down as much as I could so that I eventually got at the base of the post but nothing there. After rummaging around in the void I finally got my hands on the cache about 1ft from the post, just as I was going to give up and go and find my first aid kit. Replaced the cache tight against the post.

This 11-year-old church is a movie featuring in "The Gone" Interesting what we learned from a farmer passing on his tractor. It is not actually a church but a artists studio.

I decided to go go a wee drive westwards along some backroads to bring back some past memories. It was great.

Of course there was a new(ish) or two since I was last up this way.

Cheers for the cache, capperz.

Another solo caching trip for me, this time looking for the remaining unfound caches out west of us. The furthest away cache was this one, so I headed there first and cached my way back towards home. I had just parked up opposite the church when a large truck came speeding past, kicking up so much dust I had to wait a few minutes before getting out of the car. Once visibility had returned the cache was a quick find with the hint. We currently have 17 grandchildren, but none of them have names starting with a D. TFTC

NZ Travellers and I had a plan to cache and walk today. Unfortunately their geo-dog was unwell so Mrs NZT had to stay home to care for him so it ended up being just Mr NZT and myself. Had a great day out, ended on a nice round number of 40 (50 would have been better but I had to collect our minis from their camp).

Lucky last for the day and a nice quick find in a cute little spot.

Thanks for the cache.

Our primary reason for the trip mup this far today was to attempt all the caches in the park. Mrs NZT stayed home to look after Geo Dog (poor little bugga had had a rough night) and Keylev and myself set off to find all these.

After finishing the park caches we headed back down toward Helensville clearing up the remaining caches on the way.

YAY 40 caches for the day. Will make that do and head back and pick up Keylev's minicachers before heading home.

Today I was at Bethel's (Te Henga) picking up an earthcache for International Earthcache Day. But then decided it was a much too nice a day to be heading home so soon. So just a few more caches will do me.

I have never been to this church, I didn't see if there was history attached to a sign. I quite enjoy seeing how people used to live years ago. Thanks Lee for the cache.

Our car was very clean after its recent service, but after driving along this metal road to gz it was in need of a car wash. Parked very close to gz, and was almost able to reach this cache from the passenger seat. TFTC Dylan and showing us this lovely church

Out and about with the elder Future Finder for an afternoon drive in the country. After finding the cache back at the "gumboot bridge" we continued along this rural lane and parked up nice and close to GZ. The property behind GZ looked interesting. Anyway, the cache was a super quick find with aid of the hint provided. Cheers for the cache placement!

As I drove in, a mangy dog was wandering about on the road. I was afraid he might come over and go all Cujo on me, but instead he went the other way. I was then able to make a quick find. TFTC.

Found it during enjoyable trip to South Head in Auckland Region after attending
Geocaching Mini Quiz in Auckland Domain early this morning.
It is time to get my car dusty and also thanks for great reason to visit this area again.

Another nice spot! For sure deserves a hide!

When my emails went off this morning with a lot of new publications, I was busy picking up my new (to be installed) gazebo but over an hour later with no logs and the gazebo unloaded off the trailer, I took off to a few nearby ones, the second being young Dylan. Excellent location, nice wee church. Thanks for {FTF} #68 Dylan; now off to find your cousin Bradley
