Out for a long stroll, and this particular geocache was on my list.No problem getting the required information at the first stop, and it only took me a minute or 2 to find the container at the second stop. TFTC.
Out with weredunn4 for an after work expedition to find a few caches.Quickly found and log stampedTFTC
Out for a quick after work mini caching expedition with Cheezel.Did the calcs and went for a stroll.Found cache and log signed.
Two nights ago after I calculated the coordinates to GZ I set out to find the cache. Along the way there was a muggle on the phone passing me, who then decided to turn around and go the other way. He repeated this for a while so I put the search on hold and continued along to the next multi. After calculating that one and letting more muggles pass, I went back to GZ and made the relatively easy find. There were a couple of potential spots where it could have been. After the back porch light went out, I waited a couple of minutes then discretely used my torch to help locate it. No muggles while signing. TFTC.
Today I had an appointment in Modbury, and I found some caches while I was in that area.
Tried 2 traditional caches, 2 multi caches, 1 mystery cache, 1 Letterbox Hybrid cache, and 1 AdventureLab cache. All owned by the same owner. Luckily found all of them.
This was today's last find.
An easy multi cache. Walked to the final location, and found the cache quickly.
Signed the log book, and put it back. No one else was around.
Thanks for the multi cache, Bob From Elsewhere.

Found while with JJ52 and Michells&hound finding caches in the northern suburbs. TFTC
TFTC! Solved original coords a few days back but geokids were tired so it was nice to finish it with them today!
Always love between the sheets, especially when the bed has just been changed. Came walking with out rain shields and it's just started raining. Lucky we were ready to head back. Thanks Bob
A nice quick find here. #NLAMT
I found your D1.5/T1.5 Micro Multi-Cache called It's: Where Construction Began on 27 January 2023. It was find #17546 for me. Thank you Bob From Elsewhere for placing this cache for our enjoyment in the wonderful state of South Australia.

Didn't even know there was a plaque up here which was a nice surprise. After getting confused as to why the number of children who helped wasn't two digits, I quickly headed over to GZ and picked up the cache.

TFTC! Found with harper-22 and GeoPup. Plaque is on the bridge, took me a while to realise.
Yay. Found it. Many thanks for the smiley!
It’s BOB day continues. The question is when do I turn around to the car? This is it as I need to find some puzzles. I had no idea this was where construction started. Thanks for bringing me here
Thank you for placing it for us to find. Thank you for contributing to the geo map and maintaining when required. TFTC

After a medical appointment had a little time to spare on the edge of the suburbs, so thought I'd clean a couple of marks of the caching map! A couple proved elusive, but most nice quick finds!
A big construction it was too. Although I thought it went to Paradise first then extended to TTP - maybe that worked the other way around. Lived at St Peters during the build and felt ripped off that there wasn't a stop through there but too many stops would kind of defeat the purpose hey! And wow! it was THAT many premiers ago... cat feeling old
Much gratitude to Bob From Elsewhere for placing and maintaining this cache on our SA geo game map

Looking around every day finding and signing using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Whereyougo, Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck Plenty of that actually!!!
*Logs are composed and published using GSAK of course.*

Please do stay as safe as possible when caching.
Keep a lookout for bogs, snakes, surprise cliffs, boxing roos, wombats, bulldust, and floods,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall out of trees...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- but especially lookout for bugs from alpha to omega !!! . [xx(]
Try to keep Travel Bugs as the only bugs you share and pass on
Now our borders are open - even more important to sanitise and safely distance!!!
Much appreciation of all those placing quality caches out and about around the countryside areas,
in sensible safe places especially! - it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting
[^] [:o)] [^]
A great caching start to Twenty Twenty Too

The 3rd cache we found along the obahn busway today. It took us a little while to locate the plaque but once we did geokid enjoyed searching for the information to find the cache coordinates. A nice easy introduction to multicaches for her. TFTC
Walking on a sunny day along the o-bahn. This one took us a bit longer, I think our co-ords where a bit put. Oops, haha. Thanks for the cache!!
Took the bike out for a christmas morning ride to find a newish tradition and as a bonus found 3 multis as well. All by BFE.
Hope the festive season is treating you well, and the new year even better.

There wasn't much happening around the Famous IV's house this afternoon so I headed out to gather a few long solved puzzles around the lower slopes of Black Hill, make a dent in the O-Bahn Walk From Tea Tree Plaza To Paradise series, as well as grab a few other caches along the way. All up 16 were sought, and although the first one was a DNF the rest were located. A great selection of hides in things as diverse as boots, in tree hollows, under old metal, beneath logs and in pipes. A few hides were recycled which made those finds not too onerous. TFTC BFE.
Another Sunday afternoon walk along the O-Bahn to gather a few more smilies All in all, a great outing that started with an easy multi. TNLNSL TFTC
A great spot to hide the cache.A quick find inlogical spot.

I had almost all of March away from caching to concentrate on the Garden. Time to get back to working towards my goals for the year. Also Time to get back into the regular Wednesday Wandering again. [^] Today myself, Blackadders and S.A. Sewer Rats headed out on a BFE rampage. Last puzzle meeting night we had worked on all the new BFE puzzles and decided it was high time to go and find them all - and his multi caches, trads and even the lab cache series. The other two having already found some whilst I was in the garden completed all that was required to get the Rat to TBFEN. Unfortunately we didn't have time to revisit 3 so I could get there and an early DNF on a BFE meant that would be impossible anyway. I ended up with 3 DNF's today - so much for goal number 3!
Walking on I had yet another felling of deja vu, found the cache quickly and started another one! This is where we caught up with the waiting snake as we all needed the next one.
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]
***Thanks Bob From Elsewhere for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Today I needed to find a multi cache so after work I decided to drive to Tea Tree Plaza and the Northern Suburbs to find some BFE and Freddo caches.
Ended up with 8 finds for the evening and a nice walk along the O Bahn path. A couple of deja vu caches were found.
Gathered the info from the plaque and a nice quick find was made at GZ. TFTC BFE

Cheeky hint Bob. My son lives on the other side of the track. I found a nice shady spot to log this log. Thanks Bob from elsewhere for the fun you have provided.

After the previous multi, it was only logical to continue with this one [8].
Sorted the numbers, but got soaked when a rain storm moved over on our way back to the car [B)].
Another short drive, plus a short walk, had us a new GZ . TNLNSL.
Thanks again Bob.

A spot I have been before and a quick calculation was had and the cache was easily found in a spot I look for at the end of last year.
This morning with a bit of time to kill I headed to the eastern suburbs to find a few unfound caches before a netting back at Mawson lakes. A nice few hours with 14 finds.
Thanks for the cache

How did i miss the cache last time i was here?
I did mess up the numbers more than once when i was here before so i was probably a bit annoyed, leading to cache blindness.

It was time for an adventure, so Owl and JJ52 joined forces to clean out some Bob caches and generally have a good time. This was the first of the day and nearly thwarted by a very officious lady who claimed she owned the road and they couldn't park there. After much arguing a different option was chosen and a location discovered. It was the wrong location, as one answer had been too hastily determined, but the correct coordinates were only a short distance away and a cache was soon found.
I had organised a caching day with Doctor Owl to find a few of the new BFE caches that have popped up since my last visit out here. [^]
We found the plaque and did the sums (which turned out to be not quite right) then headed to GZ where we encountered a very unfriendly home owner who told us we couldn't park on "her" street so we reluctantly found another parking place then went for a short walk to GZ which initially was wrong, but after correcting our mistake and going to the correct GZ the cache was soon found.
Thanks for the cache BFE.

Out on the bike today for some seeking along the O-Bahn track. Found the plaque and then a seat to do some calculations. Cache in the right direction and found nearby. Hint seems to be correct! . TNLN SL Thanks for the cache Bob and looking forward to the O-Bahn series. Reely appreciate the time and effort you take in placing these caches for us to (sometimes) find!

Gathered the information a couple of weeks ago and assembled the coordinates. They looked good so into the TBF queue until the right moment.
This morning was heading to the shops and a short detour was in order with a short walk to GZ with a quick find in the first place I looked. Log Stamped and all returned as found.
Good reminders of the history which, having lived in the area for 4 decades, the construction was observed and followed with great interest, and then the service used regularly in its early days.

Gathered the numbers. That doesn't look right.
Redid the numbers, that look a little better. Got to my gz and realised and discovered another mistake.
Calculated a 3rd lot of numbers and then found a spot that matched the new numbers. I'd already checked this spot and didn't find anything. So gave it another check.
Still nothing that I could see.
I'll watch it, I'm sure it's there just not my day today.

Having grown up in Modbury and gone to Modbury High, there are a lot of memories in this area for me. I had moved on to university before Obahn construction started, I would have missed this event, and have to confess I didn’t know that this plaque was there. Nice multi, thanks for bringing back lots of memories for me Bob From Elsewhere.
This evening, I headed out to Tea Tree Plaza and Ridgehaven areas to continue to find target geocaches. Several of these geocaches had high Favourite Points, and although some were challenging to find, they did highlight the beauties of geocaches that were hidden in plain sight, but had a twist for Geocachers. An enjoyable evening to be out and about.
I parked nearby and walked to the historical plaque at the posted coordinates, where I had obtained the numbers and crunched the equation to find GZ a short distance away. I decided to just jog to GZ rather than driving nearby there, passing by a cool mural.
At GZ, I was initially searching in between another set of sheets, and after exhausting that location, thinking it may be missing, I checked another hiding place to then find the geocache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Bob From Elsewhere for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Did the calculations and drove to near the cache. Woman from the house came out and said she didn't want us to park outside her house as she had people coming and she wanted them to park there. Explained we were only going to be 10 mins and it was a public road. In the end we moved the car to keep the peace. Quick find thanks to good GPS and clue. Was back within 5 mins and no other cars anywhere in the street. Happy New Year Bob and all! Thanx
It was a beautiful afternoon and I didn’t have much on, so I headed up to the Tea Tree Gully/Modbury area to find a few caches to round out the year.
The plaque was found, information collected and final coordinates calculated.
GZ wasn’t too far away and turned out to be a location that I had been to before and the cache was a quick find. The person doing some work with the power tools only a few metres away on the other side of the fence was completely unaware.
My last cache for 2020!
Thanks Bob From Elsewhere for the cache.

Freddo was involved with the construction of the bus way project. Each of those transverse sleeper looking things is sitting on two piles. In good ground the holes for the piles were formed with a screw hole digger. In poor ground it was necessary to drive the piles with a pile driver. Freddo's job was to check the ground acceleration produced by the pile driver at the boundary of nearby properties. Too much acceleration and the consequential repetitive minor earthquake would crack the houses. Measurements taken and filed for future reference.
The cache was found in the last place we looked, which as usual was not the first place we looked. Thanks for placing a fun cache guys. We do love your work. We signed the logbook. Of course we did that is way we play this game. Cache in pretty good condition for the cache age.
