TFTC came up to this area to ride my bike but it got too wet, not too wet to find some geocaches thou
Noticed all the new fencing and also read previous log that mentioned temp container. Couldn't find anything after a bit of a search. About to leave when I decided to look at the right post. TFTC
Some unbelievably sad graves here, making me worry about the cache placement. Is this really the best spot for it?Can see new fencing has been erected but after a thorough search could not find even a temporary container. Pretty sure nothing is here. Thanks for the cache!
Today was a drive down to Wollombi and picking up what we can along the way. An overcast cool day, but still enjoyable. Not sure how we would vote, but either way, the road needs some work, only one nice smooth stretch.Arrived at the cemetry to find a new perimiter fence, complete with 'NEW' posts. Checked to see if we could find the container, but nothing. With permission of owner have put a Temp container until their return.Total Caches Found 16185TFTC techsavvy9
Found at 11:32 AM GAFF1.A nice series in lovely country. Finished it off in a sombre tone especially the nearby full size grave to a still born baby daughter which must be horrific - as we know! Thanks to techsavvy9Feedback: A 35ml film canister is traditionally rated as a micro and not as a small.
After finding the cache I went for a walk and through the cemetery beautifully maintained
Took my time walking over to this one ... I can't walk past without fixing up fallen tokens of love.TNLNSL.TFTC ...
I spent a few hours on the Dogs Head trail today and when I got sick of getting in and out of the car every couple of hundred metres, I decided to head to Wollombi and do this short series back to Cessock ... I remembered that I'd told the CO at a recent event that I would.A straightforward find here and all is good with the cache. Thanks for bringing me here techsavvy.
Heading north we picked up a few caches along the way and this was one of them while staying at Cessnock.
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

With large numbers of family present I was starting to get a little over crowded so I got a few hours quiet time to grab some supplies and collect a few geocaches. Thought these would be mainly park and grabs but some were a bit more challenging (and three I couldn’t locate) but a nice run anyway.
Parked at the gate and had to put the geohound on the lead as another dog walker was present. Read some graves while she passed through then zeroed in on the coordinates. Retrieval failure here as the wire came off the container. Eventually extracted it and reassembled after I signed the log.

Easy find
After a walk through the graves we noticed there is a high amount of babies buried here which is sad

Love the little cemetery! Thanks, found while having a lovely day with the CO.
Found it with Grub Fred and JOT. Perseverance was needed to retrieve it. TFTC Techsavvy9.

Enjoyed my drive in the country to get this one. An interesting cemetery to walk through to make the find. A fairly quick find once at GZ. Thanks for the cache and the series

Ahh yes , last week I blocked the toilet in the food place for this town. After I get this cache. I will go back and buy some food because I feel guilty. Time to go there now. Tftc tnln

I have had to move the cache as it was being damaged and now it is missing. I put it in a spot where people don't go when visiting the cemetery.

Doing some caching in the Hunter Valley region with illook4geo today and enjoying the caches and the views that the area has to offer. The container and log here were in good condition, with the log being signed with either both full names or sometimes just initials. Thanks go to techsavvy9 for placing this cache.
Out caching with goingplaces2 and enjoying the day. This was an easy find. TFTC.
Really easy it was in the back corner near the tree with lots of flowers around it
MY opinion only, i do not like it. There are so many other places it could be. And it looks like they dump all the old flowers and stuff right here at gz, so its makes it even more undesirable.
This one was in a different place, very quiet with no-one watching us. I retrieved the cache and logged, thanks for the hide.
Tftc techsavvy9, out collecting a few smiley faces we had to pass by the other day due to traffic or muggles.

Loved coming here, have a few generations back relos buried here (Sternbecks). First time I searches for this GPS lead me astray telling GZ was somewhere different, easy find today though with GPS telling me correct GZ and of course it was that one not the one I was at the first time haha.
Maitland Day 4, camped at the showgrounds.
As the others headed to complete the dogs head we headed south to Cessnock then continued through to Hillfield & Wollombi. We had a couple of AL to do & a variety of caches to find.
We enjoyed our drive into the countryside away from the bustle of the city & cars.
We did well only the last cache of the day having a DNF
Thankyou techsavvy9 for placing this cache.

Was lucky enough to finish a little early today so we rolled out to the wild west and enjoyed finding the new Wollombi series.
A quick park and grab at this one. Thank you a fun arvo out with the girls. TNLN TFTC

Good to turn off for this - wouldn't have noticed this area if just driving through. Always good to check out the names of past residents of small country towns.
Great to have this series to make us stop along this very pretty valley and appreciate its features. Many thanks, techsavvy9!

Decided to continue onto Wollombi and find the newly published caches to Millfield
GZ had me a bit off to the side but after a brief search I decided to expand the search area. I initially overlooked GZ
I was concerned caching here at night might upset the residents so was going to abandon search and return in daylight but decided to do one more check and there it was!

We've had our yearly Barrington camping weekend planned for a while, so after seeing this series hadn't been found we diverted through Wollombi on our way to Singleton/Scone to nab them.
We did wander around a little here, but the cache didn't elude us for long, its always a thrill to find those blank logs too.... TFTC!
