Im in W.A. with my partner after a road trip from the NSW/Vic border. Weve been stopping along the way to collect caches and view the beautiful scenery. We are out signing this challenge series today and I will see if I qualify and log the cache (with qualifying stats) when I do.

I came over to WA last year for WAGB 23 and had such a great time so I decided to come back over again for this years events in Augusta.So after all of the planning with dates worked out my work decided that I could only have one week off so flying over was my only option.So I flew into to Perth and my first stop will be Busselton for 2 nights.It has been 47 years since I was in this part of WA and Im really looking forward to the re visit.Im making my way down the coast and picking out caches that look interesting to me.After spending a bit of time in Bunbury it was back to the Geo Rent a Car to continue along the coast and I then made it to Busselton.Day 5 of the trip.After caching around Busselton, Dunsbourgh and Cape Naturaliste I reached Albany for 3 nights.Caught up with Roaming Howie again last night and another plan was hatched to first head south to find WAs first then North for the challenge caches.I will check on all of these challenges when I get home.Thanks Barnzy12 TFTC.

Love a good challenge and love a challenge series! After completing the series just above this one we decided to continue home via the challlenge route! Yes it was a bit of a challenge with the road being pretty busy and parking not so great on some of these....but challenge accepted! Needing a few more challenge caches so decided to attack this series today whilst the light was fading, all that I searched for were found and are all good

In WA for 3 days, so I decided to hire a car and head south from Perth and drive around the wheat belt and back up the coast line. Day 1, I headed from the city out towards lock then south through the back roads all the way down to Albany, collecting LGAs and a few target caches along the way. Once in Albany I found a few caches around the area and the oldest cache in WA. Nearly 750km for the day and 50 finds.

I found this cache on a trip to the west from South Australia.

I last visited and cached in this area around three years ago, but there have been plenty of new caches of interest to me since then, so I thought a return visit was in order.

After camping at the Porongorups last night, I made my way to Albany, hunting out a few target caches, including this one.

The checker at Project-GC confirms that I meet the requirements of this challenge.

Logged wrong road sorry

Today our geocaching mission to collect as many of these challenger caches as practical. We did not have too much time because we needed to be back in Bunbury at a reasonable hour . We had calculated all the ones we were eligible for which was 20 out of 30 . So we headed out of Albany onto the backroads to try our luck. It was quite an overcast day so we were just hoping that the rain stayed away.

This is our seventh cache today along this interesting Challenge trail on the backroads outside Albany. This cache was quickly located logged and replaced. TFTC

We decided that we'd hunt several strings of caches today including a couple of Mystery strings that we had solved, and we found this cache at 1118am after a short search - and the container and log are in good condition. It was numbers day for me today teaming up with SirFancy, LauraTheExplorer84, Meme28, I C Nothing, Kapelula and Burns345 to tackle as much as possible before official duties called.
Started the morning chasing a couple of new caches before heading out to complete the Whale Tail geo-art.
Managed to snag find 3000 throughout the day and filled a D/T grid at the same time.
Slowed down in the afternoon chilling with the kids at the caravan park before checking some sights out before the FOTT event.
Spent the night with the team again for a good meal before retiring for the night.
Looking forward to tomorrow and the adventures it brings.
