Found the big red box and got the required info then from there to GZ for the find.
Another day in Goulburn which has some great caching. We are staying a while longer so we can join the Events scheduled for tonight.
Today we spent our time in and around town working an Ad Lab we had not finished and a range of caches we have not got to yet, and what a beautiful day it was for it.
We managed more multis, puzzles and quite a few traditionals, both in town and ventured up to Mount Gray.
Another good day with most caches in good condition and muggle traffic not too high.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache my_name_jeff_1.

We planned a day or two in Goulburn, and sent a text to Rapidlywild to see if she could join us.
Sunday seemed to suit, so the target was - to find as many multi's as we could.
Rapidlywild came organised with pen and paper and the questions written out.
That made everything much easier, when solving.
Some gave us a few headaches, but after checking sums, we came out with the right numbers.
Most logs were signed as 'TDR' (for The Drovers & Rapidlywild), to save on time and space.
A big 'Thank You' to Rapidlywild for joining us, and making the day so much more fun.
A quick find, signed and replaced.
Many thanks for placing this cache, my_name_jeff_1, for us and others to find.

Recieved a text from The Drovers who had plans to venture around Goulburn for the day doing a spot of caching before the terrible weather hits on Monday. Yeah awesome, I have a few to collect in Goulburn so would be nice to get a few more smilies around the area.
The weather was rather brisk and the wind would rip right through our jackets/jumpers today but we kept on chasing those smilies. Our main targets today were multi caches as there seems to have been an explosion of them around the place since my last visit. We managed to do ok today, had issues with one of the multis which unfortunately resulted in a DNF, a trad which will need to be archived as the property is now a private residence and a few very wet logs which we replaced with dry log sheets.
Have been up this road a few times in the past, so have become quite familiar with it. No issues with the find here, spotted it from a distance actually. Most of todays logs were signed as "TDR" for The Drovers Rapidlywild to save space on the logs.
Thanks for the hides my_name_jeff_1 And thanks to The Drovers for a fun day out and about around Goulburn [^].

TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
After a pleasant morning caching down towards Lake Burrinjuck collected the odd cache on our way back home. Called into Goulburn for some refreshments and picked up some multis before heading off. After collecting the required information went and found the cache. With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache container and log are in good condition. Thanks for the cache my_name_jeff_1.

Got the info while taking an evening stroll the night before and was able to pick up the final today. My device was off a bit so I used my caching senses and trusted my eyes a little further afield to come up with the goods.

After a better night sleep at Condor I am ready for the important day. Hopefully the weather is going to be better than the last few days. Into Namadgi today for an event and a walk. This will put me on 20000 !! Woohoo, good milestone that I am proud of. After that caching my way home for a good night sleep in a bed.

A few days caching in the ACT and surrounds with Steeba, Wilbert67 and The Rats, another trip away like countless others that we have done before. We got the dates, we did the planning, we worked out a route. But there was one thing that we could not plan for; the weather.
The caches were excellent. The company faultless. The weather; atrocious. Rain, rain, rain. And then more rain. On several occassions we had to change our intended route, abandon plans, and even came home a day early. Alas, the rain had been predicated, but we had hoped it would stay away.
Please forgive the boiler-plate log, I assure you it is no reflection on the caching experience of our few days away. Thank you to all cache owners for their hides.
Cheers

Our first post-lockdown caching run with steeba, Hoojar and Wilbert had been planned for months and whatya know it - we forgot to let the weather gods know our plans. NSW experienced torrential rain and chilling winds across most of the state, but that didn't stop us.
Thursday night saw us grab a few caches and dinner around Goulburn before starting down the back roads to Collector, but alas after enduring 2hrs of driving rain, winds that cut straight through us and finger numbing coldness we decided to cut our losses for the evening.

Well post-COVID restrictions (in 2021!), The Rats, Hoojar, Wilbert67 and I teamed up for an assault on the areas surrounding Canberra. Problem was the weather had other ideas so we ended up with a day in Canberra and chipping away at other caches around the edges, and came home a bit wet a day early.
An interesting old feature.
Many great puzzles and hides on this trip.

Never seen one like that before !!! Now a short drive to gz for a quick find. Driving back into Goulburn proper a police car came up behind me and pulled me over for a breath test. TFTC.
Although Tankengine and I knew it was meant to be a chilly day with rain and wind, we needed a cache today.
So the allure of a Christmas in July Celebration Event, 3 x new caches and the cache type we needed today was just too great to ignore.
We started with the new caches finding the trio without issues, then cached around even picking up a great AL and bonus we needed then finished off with the event which was the highlight of the day.
This cache: After working this one out we were then off to GZ to make a straightforward find. Tftc my_name_jeff_1!!!

I combined collecting the info for this multi with another multi quite close by, but the final locations were quite literally at opposite ends of town!
A short drive to a familiar locale resulted in a quick find in the fading light.

Today was a day of events. Between the events I found a few caches to do in Yass and Goulburn. I also managed a Lab series in Goulburn as well. A fun day with lots of discussion and a bit of cleanup. A great day.
My visit to Goulburn was to tick the multi box for today. Now time to head back into Canberra for the final event of the day.
Thanks for the cache my_name_jeff_1

After having to pull out of the event in Temora yesterday for reasons we had no control over, we decided that a mini excursion to Goulburn to clean the area out again was in order.
Being we were up early anyway after doing the animal run we headed out and had a successful days outing.
Nice easy multi and quick find at GZ

I was out caching in the Goulburn region with Sol de Lune and LuckyL10n today, chasing as many GC and GCA caches as we could. They included trads, multis, mysteries, trigs, virtuals and ALs. The weather was not the best but the caches and company could not have been better. Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining the caches that we managed to find today.
Apologies for the generic logs. All logs were signed.

On a run through the area with Smittengranny and LuckyL10n with an emphasis today on multi caches. This was our next stop and didn't take long to work out GZ. Once there the cache was quickly in hand and the log signed.

#11296 - 3:05:00 PM; Set out on a cold, windy morning with Sol de lune and Smitten granny on a caching mission which will take us north to Goulburn along country roads and through some of the smaller towns and villages between the ACT and there. Now in Goulburn, our main focus was on the local multis and after gathering the required information, we set off yet again for our third visit to this area to make the find! TFTC my_name_jeff_1

We had the car booked in for a bit of mechanical work in Goulburn where we met up with alansee who very kindly offered to chauffeur us around on a less than perfect day for caching.
It's been a very long time since we have seen any of these post boxes and until today we had no idea why they were built as high as they are. Thanks to this cache it all makes sense now.
We collected the required information, did the math's and then headed off to gz and we were rewarded with a nice easy find when we got there.
Our names were added to the log and everything was retuned as found.
Thanks my_name_jeff_1 for this cache, we learnt some interesting trivia here.

Found with Team Crackers. Found the information allright but the final was a little way so we double checked it. At GZ it was an easy find.
On a wet day came by and grabbed a couple in Goulburn before heading home.

Another very cool piece of history! I was quite amazed by how old this big red box was, and that it was still in use as we peered through and noticed the letters inside! Not as secure as the newer ones that's for sure! Wish they all were still like this!
The numbers were quick to obtain here, and easy to calculate as well! We swung past the final later in the afternoon and managed a quick find!
Thanks, another really great multi with good history

Spent the day completing Adventure Lab caches and Multicaches in Goulburn and beyond. I had a fairly productive day in between the light showers. Thankfully most of the rain came down while I was on the roads between towns. Thanks to all the Cache Owners for their contributions to this recreational activity.
Juggled waypoints for 5x Multi's and 2x AL's to make an efficient drive around Goulburn. This Multicache didn't take too much effort to complete. TFTC!

Well, Finalf29 and I had planned to kayak today but definitely not in this heat and wind... so what to do? What!!!... just realised it was 11 degrees cooler in Goulburn... OK time for another Goulburn raid. I had a wonderful afternoon finding an Adventure Lab, mystery, multis & trads and all with my best bud

Woohoo [FTF] in Goulburn. Only saw this hadn’t been found when I got back to the motel last night- thought about a run but knew I would be going past this morning. Collected the clues and the numbers seemed right. A quick diversion off the road a quick stroll and the cache was on hand. An empty log found so left a TB as well.
