Logs
Found during a caching circuit from Wartook, Zumsteins, Halls Gap and Heatherlie Quarry while staying at Horsham for the mid-week. Thanks for the cache Duntulum!
A day trip from Ballarat up near on Horsham, and then down towards Hamiton before heading for home. Good quick find here and the log was soon being signed. Saw the mountains, but any kangaroos spotted were no longer bounding around. Thanks for another one Duntulum..
Staying at Halls Gap, the weather was not great, so we decided to take a trip along the tourist road to Horsham. This cache was along the way. It is a clever hide which would have had me flummoxed if I had not seen this type of cache before.
We pulled up near GZ and we both said its your turn at the same time, unbeknownst to the driver I had already spotted the cache, I said yep, Ill take 1 for the team this time. Thanks Duntulum for the placement.
With the olive farm visit done (and the credit card smashed ), it was time to turn to home but there were still some caches to be had of course. This was the first of the homeward bound trip and I had the prize sussed at 12:30 before I even opened the car door. That's the way I like 'em. TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Many thanks yet again Duntulum.
Haha these ones all get me. Now to go around the north of these mountains and back down the eastern side
First cache for us on our three-day getaway to Beachport SA. The weather was pretty ordinary but the touring via caching was great. This one was spotted quickly as we pulled up. All good at GZ. TFTC Duntulum
After a wonderful day in the Grampians, we were able to log a few caches on the way back to Ballarat.

On the road North this morning to check out the Gulgurn Manga Shelter. Another quick find here, thanks for the cache Duntulum - favourite point added! A classic hide, but done so well here.

Thanks to Duntulum for another interesting location.
Well it is still raining, surprise surprise.
A quick find and sign. The log is dry.
So green in the paddocks.
How to head north to the Lake across the highway.

On my way to Horsham tonight, heading to South Australia, I stopped for a few caches along the way. I didn't look at the cache page and looked all over for what I suspected was going to be a nano. When I couldn't find it, I went back to the car and checked the cache size. Aha! It was a quick find afterwards.
My thanks to Duntulum for the cache.

Last cache for the day, kids needed to stop for a wee. Had a quick search until spotted just as about to drive off in plain view. Nice old vintage sign, thanks.
Quick easy find. Passed a dinner setting for three on the side of the road. Went back for a photo. Sorry haven't down loaded the camera. Maybe later. SL TFTC
Mrs 4wd shed kicked ass on this one, very good camo, another find on our weekend exploring the Grampians tftc
Found on our weekend away in Halls Gap. We decided to go for a bit of a road trip around the Grampians collecting caches as we went. Got a nice visit from the cache guardian aka the dog who lives next door. After a good ear scratching session the cache was signed and replaced. TFTC Duntulum
Off for more wildflower hunting - with a couple of caches in the way, my idea of a perfect day TFTC
Had a quick job out this way and decided to find this on the way back. Quick easy find since I've seen others similar to this
Use to live out this way too so was nice to visit briefly. Tftc

Heading back to Halls Gap and thought we would take a different road. The family were pretty keen to get back so didn't get to find as many caches as I would have liked. Did stop for this one and Mrs P's eagle eyes spotted it. Thx Duntulum, will have to come back here to pick up some more.

Found! Forgot to bring a pen today so will have to swing past another day and fill it in
Find No. 3467. Found with FUF009 at 1.11pm
A day out caching with FUF009, slowly making our way to Horsham - the long way around of course.
Pulled in and parked at the back of the Information Board and noticed this hide before we even got out. Wonder how many people would query what this was, so out in the open (so to speak). Signed the log then took time out to read the board to see what the area had to offer. Rather an interesting and informative Information Board.
Now it's into Horsham to do some shopping before heading for home.

Find # 9819
Found with Tyred n Cranky
First day of holidays, time to hit the road, get some fresh air and find some caches.
Targeting some caches to fill in my 360 deg map and getting some others on the way around.
Just gotta love these "in-ya-face" caches. After signing the log we looked over the info to see what the area has to offer.

Quick find today on my way home from a working day in Horsham. I’ve been meaning to detour here the last few times but have never had time. Thanks for the caches.

TFTC. Pulled up and inspire of the hide staring me in the face i did a search only to realise what i saw and missed was the cache. Face-slap.
Tftc out with TonCin & PeteBev exploring the area. Took us a while to locate - but I spotted it after some staring at the sign. Great view - gave it a favourite
A quick find here that I spotted from the car which pleased me as I don’t like being out in this type of country during kangaroo hour so I was quickly on my way. TFTC Duntulum

The strange story is that on a day back a little while we checked out this sign just in case there was a cache sitting here waiting to be submitted for approval. The sign was calling out 'Please place a cache here' at the time this cache was not there.
Thank you for making the sign a happy and content sign.
