This is another cool granite hide, it must be a great place to explore but i will leave that till i am here in daylight.
I was driving past today on my way north to find a few caches. I didnt really have a plan for the day and decided to start off finding a newish mystery in Rochester and then see where i ended up from there. I havnt made a particularly early start so it wont be a mammoth day, nor am i targeting any particular caches or locations, so just a relaxed cruise. The sun is shining and surprisingly warm which is putting me in an even more relaxed, slow travel kind of mood. The geopooch was getting ratty at home so she is excited to be getting out and exploring once again, come to think of it, so am i, in a sleepy kind of way.

Major Mitchell my 5th great grandfather names this hill. Thanks for bringing me here. Will definitely be back. TFTC
I have been Geocaching for the last year as part of team Dromaniax. We have enjoyed the Geocaching caching around a lot of Victoria in that time. From our first trip up to the Murray River, the next trip to Lake Eildon and the area around Buxton, an epic trip to the Little Desert to attack the This is SA series, then a great trip with our father to the High Country in Victoria, a trip to the Mornington Peninsula and a trip to the Albury-Hume Reservoir area.
I finally decided to set up my own account and am claiming all the caches I have found as part of Dromaniax.
Thank you for this Traditional cache Hercs&pinky

Pretty popular spot out here today. GeoKids enjoyed rock hopping and spotting all the different types of flowers.
Mr grew up not far from here and could spot one of his families old farm paddocks from up here. TFTC

Not having much luck today! Every single log so far has been DNF. We spent a fair bit at this location since the last log was today but still couldn’t find it.
A nice drive up here today, from Barham where we have accommodation.
We had a very nice quick and easy find.
Actually found by muggle friend,
Maree.

Determined to fill in days on our calendar, so will be clocking up some km's as we have done most close to home.
Cache found in good condition after a short stroll. We have enjoyed the B&W caches on GCA, so this is an added bonus.

Had a great day with LittleBoss2 on our way to a couple of days in Cohuna. This was another with great coords and some history. Our thanks to all the CO's who made our day so productive cache and history wise
On our way to Cohuna for a few days. A quick find. Thanks for placing the Geocache and bringing us to this amazing location
A lovely Saturday morning greeted us after a night with a fair bit of rain as we awoke right next to the mighty Murray River, and after breakfast, we set off for a day of caching. We had several target caches in mind, and we were happy to pick up whatever attracted the eye as we drove around. Having completed the nearby Multi and Earthcache, we wandered up the hill to find this cache. As we were doing so, we saw a Scarlet-chested parrot, which is a rare and special treat. We wonder if granite affects GPS as it was bouncing around a little, and after around five minutes, we found the cache. The cache is in excellent condition. Thank you for this cache Hercs&pinky
While B&W had a hospitable reception at the homestead, the Private ,no entry signs on the road were not nearly so welcoming TFTC Hercs&Pinky
Find # 9948
Making the most of Holidays and being able to travel. I decided on a 4 day trip that seen me head up to Swan Hill then down via Lake Boga, Kerang, Koondrook, Cohuna, Leitchville, Mt Terrick Terrick NP, Corop, Colbinabbim Rushworth, Whroo and finally Nagambie (then back home to St.Arnaud). Lots of back tracks taken and lots of dust to clean out of the ute. It was over 1250km travelled and flying solo on this trip I had lots of fun finding the caches.
I took a couple more wedges out of my 360Deg “finds from home” map and ticked off a couple of caches that I have heard about that were on my “to find” list.
There was a huge Variety of caches found from bird boxes to Fridges, Wall mountable tool boxes to Eclipse tins, with the odd ammo can thrown in. A couple of head scratching gadget caches chewed up some time but will be memorable for time to come. Numerous puzzles that I had solved i managed to find and I even managed to make good on a couple of DNFs, and add some more DNFs to my list. Even though I was out on my own I still had to use a couple of PAFs to get by. Thanks guys.

Quick find on a warm day. Warning to future seekers - wear a fly net, the locals are horrendous. Thanks Hercs&Pinky for another cache on our area
