Thank you. David.
Before leaving Westport today I decided to go and try and sign off a few more on the Coastal Trail.
I had to do this one on the way back to the cachemobile as there was a muggle there. He had gone now so had the cache in hand.
Cheers for the cache, weenz.

I'm sure we found a cache here years ago when this area was relatively new. Today's find was quicker than that one. tftc

We came to Westport area for the long weekend with the hope of finding all the caches along this trail and a few more. We woke to such a calm sunny morning it was just stunning. The further we got along this trail the windier it got - and the wind just kept increasing - I wish I had taken a hat with me. Really enjoying the track, what an asset for Westport.
I had been to look for this one a couple of years ago - but it was missing - so back today to turn that blue blip on our map into a nice yellow smiley
This was a nice quick find as per the hint - there were a few muggles around this morning so we wanted to be as quick as we could at each stop.
Thanks for placing this cache and thank you for the smiley

Found with Kiwimykl on the first day of our four day West Coast adventure. We had previously redone the Kawatiri Trail from Westport to Carters Beach due to someone placing more caches on it two days after we last cleared it... you know who you are. After that we did the caches on the Omau to the Cape section. As we are staying at Carters Beach Top 10, we thought we would do the new ones closer to there after we checked in later in the day, and that is now. So after checking in to our accommodation, we once again hopped on our MTBs and headed off. This was the second cache on this section of the trail and we were a bit conscious of being viewed by muggles in the nearby residences. However it was another QEF PnG by Kiwimykl thanks to a good hint and accurate coordinates.
Last August we had booked a package deal offered by West Coast Tourism, where for $299 per person we could stay for one night in Hokitika and get access to the Tree Top Walk, then spend another night in Franz Josef and get access to the Wilderness Centre and a helicopter flight over the glacier. We did the Hokitika part of the package on the 17th of August and that night the PM put us into Covid-19 (Delta) Level 4 Lockdown. We decided to take the week between Easter and ANZAC weekends off and do the second part of the package. It also gave us the opportunity to get out of the district to get the required points for the Signal's Labyrinth series of souvenirs.

Off on another bike ride to complete more of this great Westport coastal trail. Nicely hidden cache. TFTC
Decided to cycle a bit more of this lovely track and grab the caches along the way. Missed this one on the way out so got on my return. A nice quick find. Thanks for placing this cache.
This one was MIA when I visited three and a half months ago. Nice quick find today - it always feels good to turn a sad blue face into a happy yellow smiling one thanks weenz. TFTC # 18,124
An early morning bike ride enjoying the local trail, some good scenery, and grabbing a few caches. TFTC
A very quick find on this visit after a previous DNF when the cache was missing.
Thank you weenz.

found a lovely wee place that would be great for a cache but it was empty, or maybe I wasn't looking in the right place. Either way, hopefully it will be findable when we next come to the area
No luck here despite a tip from a previous finder which indicated we were looking in the right place.
Today my plan is to cache around the Westport area. Weather not that great but I've got my raincoat so it OK - not too cold anyway. After completing the Cape Foulwind walkway, I found a few more caches. Another nice walk, where I got a bit more wet. I parked in the car park and wandered along the track to find the caches. TFTC, Biggles.
Over home for some school holiday adventures. This was day two's big walk, started at home and got to the end of Elley Drive 2.5k total there and back. Awesome series on awesome track, can't wait to do it all in a go. We actually found two containers here, with two cries of "Found it" simultaneously? Put both back in one obvious spot.
Had a great day on the E-bike, caching on the Westport cycle trails, 39km 6hrs and 44 caches, trails in great order. - Many Thanks Bitsprayer
Hitting town for the weekend. Parked up. Had lunch and then hopped on the bikes.
{FTF}. Quite a nice surprise. Extraction was a challenge. My mini pliers weren’t good enough but a nearby stock became my friend.
