great find! might need to be replaced as the plastic is breaking.

We were in the area as matagouri was looking for a puzzle cache to fill a dot day on his grid, but as I didn't need one today, I opted for this trad instead. Bice and quiet around here when I was here, so no issue's finding the cache. Thanks for putting it here

01-Jul-24
Set out today for a goal of 1000 caches. Headed off from Rotorua detouring around seeing where we end up, appreciate the cache!

30-Jun-24
On a mission with Reschedule to top off an epic caching weekend by both hitting the 1000 cache mark. At the same time we took the opportunity to knock out some caches in the Waikato.I love the simplicity of the name it certainly was a barrier.

Had seen a post in the Geocaching NZ Facebook page regarding a field Puzzle Cache (Technology Pioneers GC1PRKD) that was due to be archived in Hamilton. Mr NZT did some preparatory work and found there were 2 other similar type caches by the same CO. Well that sounded like an excuse for Team SEAC to take short trip from Auckland to Hamilton for lunch. We all meet up in Papakura and headed south. Just before Bombay the message went out that NurseDr Geowagon had developed issues. We agreed to all meet here and re-access. The geowagon wasn't going to make the distance. NurseDr jumped in with us and Mr NurseDr had to now Nurse the Geowagon home.Well the idea of JUST doing 3 caches and then lunch and heading home was NEVER going to be acceptable.... soooooo.....A Quick easy find and good parking in the dead end road.TFTC

We returned home yesterday after a day out geocaching in the Waikino/Paeroa to a message from Mr NZT about a handful of mystery caches in Hamilton he was trying to solve and head down to retrieve before they are archived. We decided to join him, along with LiverKiwi, and NurseDr.A nice quick find here

29-Jun-24
Yesterday, the idea was hatched to grab three particularly good caches in Hamilton as one of them, possibly all three, will be archived at the end of July. As they were puzzle caches, the Team SEAC puzzlers got on the case and started to solve these puzzles. With co-ordinates in hand, the plan to hit Hamilton today to grab these three caches, and possibly a few others, was hatched and co-ordinated.This cache and another nearby cache were soon on our list of targets as they were not far from where we were solving a field puzzle. So a little detour was planned to come over here and grab these two. Finding a nice place to park, we headed towards this cache first. A little bit of searching ensued and soon enough the cache was found. The log was signed Team SEAC to preserve log space.TFTC

Headed out to try and grab a couple of caches tonight and this was the one and only find thanks to a DNF down the road. Was a nice easy find and it was nice to see a little bit of the new suburb. Tftc

30-Dec-23
After securing the nearby roundabout cache, I made my way up to also quickly grab this cache. Seems the Camo isn't too keen to stay attached to this one TFTC

01-Dec-23
Walked over to this one and quickly located it. A quiet spot with no one nearby other than moving vehicles at the roundabout but it will only get busier as the city expands out this way. TFTC

I had itchy feet and a desire to Cache but I was also having car issues... Fortunately it was Fap'n'Gap to the rescue whisking me off to Hamilton on a mission to tidy up the few caches we have left to get there.

I'm very pleased I was able to convince Fap'n'Gap to ignore the road closure signage and drive directly up to the cache - that made this one a nice park and grab. Cheers nufrat & TFTC Smile

25-Sep-21
Not a park and grab with no way to get through the barriers, but a pleasant stroll nonetheless. TFTC!

05-Aug-21
Having had such a nice, lazy, slow start to the day it was time to get out and find some caches. Staying nearby so this neighbourhood looked to be the best to go for...took a bit of a shortcut so getting here was interesting but thankfully not impossible and with a quick grab and sign I'm off on the trail of #2
TFTC!

06-Jun-21
This one took longer than it should have

06-Jun-21

A bit of a hiccup with totally wrong park, however, a bit of cross country solved that for a quick find. Tftc.

Tried this many times but the road barriers were up, this time they were down so we went for it, took long than expected to find, but got there in the end

With an older brother, a dog, and a Gap (of Fap and Gap)... We're making hay while the sun is shining - and boy, the sun is definitely shining today!

Pulled into this newly formed road and parked alongside. A nice, straightforward find - Thanks nufrat and TFTC.

As I walked towards this cache from the last one, another song poppef into my head - We're on the Road to Nowhere. It is a barrier and still very shiny. Not even any cobwebs to contend with as yet. TFTC.

Heading back to base to drop the car off, I had some time up my sleeve so thought I'd grab these two caches. No problems spying this one. Be interesting to see what the area looks like when it's all complete, I'd imagine this would be a tricky find then with all the passing cars Smile
