Out caching in the Biggenden area over the long weekend with KabbellaQld and Danielle46 signed as KTD TFTC
We are exploring this area over the long weekend. Fast find here. Glad it was fast as it is getting hot out here at 12.55 pm. Signed KTD (KabbellaQld, ToucanKB and Danielle46). Tftc
Another weekend in Biggenden. Now to head south and home. A quick stop here as the day is warming up but with a lot of fog around before continuing south along this road for a few caches. A quick find for me today in the wet grass. Thanks for the cache.
Verplaatsing van Noose Head naar Agnes Water (in 3 dagen). Onderweg deze cache gelogd. TFTC.
Last Easter, Seffnjarah and I road tripped our way south to Armidale and surrounds, camping, caching and hiking along the way. I had planned a similar trip this Easter to Maryborough and then west to Mt Walsh and was joined at the last minute again by Seffnjarah.
First order of business this morning was to climb Mt Walsh. After a successful mission, we visited Biggenden, where we collected the Adlab cache and I managed to secure a most excellent steak burger from the cafe in town. After collecting a few local Biggenden caches, we are now wandering south collecting a mix of interesting and unloved caches.
Not certain what happened to this cache but we reassembled it as best we could. Log signed with the Bromance team stamp in the first available position. TFTC YOF

When other family arrangement for the Easter break fell through, I was lucky to score a ride with Crookedpete for an extended weekend geocaching road trip from Brisbane to around Maryborough, Hervey Bay, Mt Walsh and surrounding areas.
After making it up to the summit of Mt Walsh and back in about 3hrs this morning, that left plenty of time in the day to continue picking up some more caches on our extensive to-do list for the weekend. But first Crookedpete decided he he needed a burger to refuel his body after the strenuous walk and we headed to Biggenden to see what we could find. Surprisingly we managed to find a take away open on Easter Sunday. With Crookedpete's hunger sated, we ventured on to find some local caches before beginning the run south towards home, passing this cache along the way.
Found the cache here quickly but it was in bad shape. It looked like it had literally exploded (see photo), with all the lid clips fallen off and the cache and contents scattered. Amazingly the logbook was still there and dry so we were able to sign our names in the logbook. After signing we put everything back together as best we could and placed some natural camo on top to secure everything in place. TFTC

Despite burn off of this area the cache is still OK
A great day for a drive in the country.
Blue skies, and not a cloud to be seen.
Forecast says it will hot up a bit , so an early start for us.
Burn off then recent rain so lots of fresh green growth in the paddocks.

We - Tour de Ville (Patrol14, TMZ59, Peppa and me) are on the home stretch now after a fabulous trip to Townsville for the MEGA. Last night was spent at Gayndah and this cache had some attributes to help fill a couple of Challenges that we are working on. A quick find here and log signed before replacing as found. TFTC
After an overnight stop in Gayndah, Tour de Ville (TMZ59, Imbunda, Peppa and I) are in the home stretch after our epic roadtrip to Townsville MEGA and back.
This cache was not on our list (have any been since we left Brisbane?) but a request from the backseat driver made us stop. An attribute or two may have been the reason.
Made a quick find in the likely spot. SL then returned as found.

Today we are on the last leg of our epic trip from Townsville for the Mega event over Easter. Back to Brisbane. We have taken a bit of a zig zag route to get there from Gayndah. We found this one as it had a few attributes that we were after for some challenges ranging from Cunnamulla to Townsville. Log signed at Tour de Ville, TIPP. TFTC.
It’s the last day for the Tour de Ville…
After a great time at the Townsville Mega, today we’re moving from Gayndah to Brisbane…Without a real list, we’re collecting random caches to help with challenges from Brisbane to Cunnamulla…
This was a last minute request from the backseat… I had zero reception and wasn’t prepared for anything not on a list…
With a it’s back over there I hopped out of the Habanero Sport and actually spotted the container a couple of metres from the cache…
One of the clips has come free, but the container still functions…

01/01/2022 Attended the event hosted by Sweet-Sour today and was good to meet up with fellow cachers. After the event headed out to cleanup some caches around north Kilkivan. Signed the logsheet and returned cache to its hiding hole. Thanks for making this cache for my enjoyment. TFTC SL

Drove from Beaudesert to Hervey Bay and back in a day for one of my daughters awards presentation. 820 kilometers broken up by caching and meals. Really appreciate the CO's placing all these caches, and I certainly appreciated the air conditioning more on a hot 35 degree.
All the logs are in good condition unless specified otherwise, and they were all found with ease unless specified otherwise.
Cache logs are either stamped, signed with Rogersclan13 or just RC13 for space. Thanks for the cache and thank you for breaking the drive up **youngoldfella**

Out for a country drive towards Biggenden and then back to Kilkivan along Booubyjan Rd. Great location and it was very quiet as I ambled along finding the caches. Good coords always help and nice size containers too.
No problems finding the caches and once the logs were signed all were returned as found.
If a cache needed attention that was done too.
Thanks to the CO's for placing a great series in this area.

With the weather clearing it's time to hit the frog & toad again.
We thought Maryborough might be nice for a change but we couldn't help detouring via the backroads north of Kilkivan which still have so many caches on offer.
#36 of 55 smilies rounded up today.
We are definitely starting to knock these over quicker... the more we do the more I think we see things through the eyes of the COs.
Looks like we might get some nasty weather soon!
This one was so quick that we didn't even use our phones.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

We are now camped at the Kilkiven Rest area. A big weekend in town with the annual horse ride event on. A street parade of all sorts of horses & riders was part of our couple of days here.
We spent many klms driving the country roads, the farmers have to be happy with the acres of green grass in the paddocks.
We found a good variety of caches in a variety of locations.
Thankyou youngoldfella for placing this cache.

Hi there youngoldfella.
We found your cache **"Gigoomgan Rise"** today. (This makes our find count 25637).
Back to start some more cache trails from Kilkivan. Today's plan was to head north up Running Creek Road and then continue on to Brooweena - Woolooga Road
It was a really nice drive today, made even better by not having to wade through long grass to find the caches. Our tally today was 44 caches & 0 DNF's.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache within a few metres of where our GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Either a smiley badge or a gold coin
Thank you for adding to our adventure.
Regards
Ian & Penny

Day 2 of the New Year event at Kilkivan. Having a wonderful time meeting new cachers as well as catching up with some old faces.
After gathering heaps of caches this morning, it was time to pack up at camp as I needed to head towards home.
TripleTurmoil and CHAMAD decided to join me on the journey up north to find some more new and older caches. We had a super fun afternoon racing around finding these caches, and very much appreciate the CO efforts with these.
This was a quick find, log signed, cache replaced as found.
Thanks YOF for the cache.

After a tumultuous morning of caching it was decided to go out with just three of us this time and cache some of the new caches and grab some older ones as we passed. So now it was just Willis007, 4hawkers and myself. I really thought we could not have any more laughs but the day just continued and I had a stitch from laughing so much.
The caches on this trip were varied, a variety of sizes and hides but all were in good condition. The countryside around here is amazing and just beautiful, thank you for bringing us around here.
Thank you to all the CO’s for placing caches around this area, I really enjoyed the drive around here and finding your caches. Sorry for the generic log but we found approximately 70 caches this afternoon.
This was a nice set of caches down this road.

Dianne (doscrapbooking), my daughter and I decided to cache together today, starting off on Tansey Rd, then north to Booubyjan, northeast to Teebar and finally south back to Kilkivan.
Unfortunately we didn't find any first to finds, they had all gone by the time we arrived at all cachers.
All finds were in good condition and were replaced as found.

Out on a mission with Willis007 and Chamad. I thought the morning adventures were fun, but this trip really added to it. So many laughs. So many issues (rarely with the caches - they were the easy parts!). A huge afternoon that turned into and even bigger night. *FTF*

Caching with my main squeeze, Oddiewan and our new little geopup. We have Liz and Bruce in the geomobile with us today. Oddiewan has his eyes on a new milestone so it’s a long day of caching ahead. A really neat spot caching has brought us to.
Thanks for the fun, youngoldfella

In the Kilkivan area for a couple of days caching around.
Today I have hatzofff, Snickersallan and E_Smiley in the geovehicle.
We wondered about the meaning of the word "Gigoomgan". Nah! We just found a cache - who cares!?

Not able to camp for the Kilkivan event this year so I made the most of a long daytrip instead. When the new caches were release I headed up the bumpy Broeweena Rd, then to Boubyjan Rd, having planned to find all the caches along this route anyway.
It was a real bonus to find a bunch of blank logs along the way, including this one. All the hides are quality containers in logical spots. Thanks sweet sour and youngoldfella for making this possible.
