Today out for a bike ride with RatCache1 and found, signed and replaced this one along the way. Thanks funkymunkeyzone for hiding your cache Find#190
Nice hide, easy find, TFTC The Auckland cycleways are awesome with lots native planting, flowering puriri a harakeke (flax). Sometimes hard to believe there's a motorway just the other side if the fence.
Couldn't find sh20 just down the path so came here to boost our spirits. Not too hard, just had to make our move between cycling and running muggles on this sunny Sunday morning. Tftc
Out for a quick evening walk with rattll between showers. At GZ, we were distracted, firstly by a sus-looking guy on the walkway who kept turning around to look at us, then by an obvious hiding place that turned out to be not. Finally spotted well tucked away. Signed, and returned as found. Tftc!
We parked up at the valonia reserve freedom camping spot, and once the rain and thunder storms had passed over, headed out for a bit of a walk. We had to pass GZ and then double back because of a very slow walking muggle. Thanks for setting this up
Nice wee find on our walk this afternoon, being without a car for the weekend certainly has made us appreciate the bike/walking paths around here. Tftc
. 2224. Great spot for a cache. Found with Li0npaw, eKitten, GRAkiWi and family. FP. TFT(motorway view)C.
#13,895. Out and about in Auckland on my first caching day in the big smoke for 2024. Came down this walkway to pick up the two caches. I foolishly tried to find a cache at one object that declined the invitation. So I looked elsewhere and finally it revealed itself. Anyone with half decent eyesight might have noticed it immediately. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache as found just as two muggles appeared in the distance. Thanks FMZ for the cache.
We decided to come and look for this one today before the rain curtailed our day. After making our (with ABCDF4 and eyespyben) the cache was spotted but had to wait until people had passed. What are they doing out in the rain? Signed and returned. Thank you for the placement.
Took a bit of looking, including walking past the cache multiple times before I spotted it. (Signed as occg to save log space)
Out for a Father's Day walk along the cycleway. We initially suspected the cache would be somewhere else, but then spotted the attractive container. TFTC
A nice quick find. Last for the day. Thanks for placing your cache.
Ms_KR and I are in Auckland Auckland for a break and we are exploring the region while we are based here. The weather was OK today. Very overcast and the occaisional shower. Ms_KR went to the movies while I went caching, though she did cache a little after lunch!
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

The last person must have been tall w long arms. I needed a stick to get it down, made it fun. Tftc
The weather wasn't great today so there weren't too many people walking. Retrieval was easy, though it was not exactly what I thought it would be. Had to pretend to read my phone while a couple of people passed but managed to quickly return it and head off. Thanks!
This cache posed no threat unlike the previous cache I just went to by this C.O.
A familiar spot, this time my visit was in the middle of a cyclone so maybe more blue( with cold) and certainly unattractive. t4tc
Out for a short walk this evening and managed to avoid the muggles, was expecting something else but eventually found it. TFTC
Happened to be walking along the walkway and this cache was nearby, so made sure to stop and find it. Not too busy with walkers and cyclists so I had no trouble finding the cache.
Bingo. Gotcha. Fascinating walk along here. Wld never have come unless doing this so TFTC
Visited this spot on my bike. Found not where I first believed it would be. Had no pen with me but took a photo as a proof.

Great idea sticking it behind the attractive bit. Happy to have found it. Alan & Sophie
It's cold and the wind is blowing.
There won't be any one around.
That's what I thought
Wrong. Wrong. Wrong.
Boy was I wrong.
It's a muggle highway.
Got it in the end.
Thanks for placing it.
It was actually quite fun.

After waiting out some muggles I peered just there and spotted this attractive cache. All good and replaced as found. T F T C fmz
The weekend's here and I have an 8-day I'm looking to get up to a minimum of 10, hopefully more. I've been solving a few puzzles over the last week or so and have built up a fine selection of find options, and am keen to dip into those this weekend, and to explore some area that are fairly new to me and a little further away than my usual local ones.
The weather held off for the time we were on the trail(s) and I did some drive-by scoping for future entry points etc which was useful too. Thanks to all COs for their caches today.

Walking along Oakley Creek today (the excuse is that I can't concentrate well inside, so I'll do a bit of studying at the waterfall... yeah right). This was a quick find but not where I first assumed it would be. TFTC!
After doing some shopping nearby I stopped for a short walk to find a couple of caches along this walkway. Not where I expected the cache to be but all was revealed when I looked in the right direction. Interestingly, I didn't see any signatures in the log since January. TFTC, Biggles.
The cycleway was rather empty today being midweek, so we didn't have to worry about any speedy cyclists bumping into us as we made our way to gz. Quick find here of this black and attractive cache.
A lovely day for a spot of spontaneous geocaching. We didn't have a pen but going to log it anyway. TFTC!
I had to wait out a dog walking muggle before I could grab this one. It’s a scorching day so I was grateful I had a bit of shade
Out and about for a few hours of cache detection this afternoon, for the first time in 2021. Certainly a nice and sunny day for it. I made the walk to GZ after finding the nearby "This cache bites bikes". I wasn't expecting to find a trad here, but, I wasn't going to turn down the opportunity to collect another smiley. A super quick find was executed here. Cheers for the cache placement!
Finished work early. (Very busy year) Quick side trip on my way home.
Nice easy find.
Nice easy find.
Got this one as a welcome walk with Albert and his greyhound pal, George. Parked over the big white bridge and walked them around the park and over - nice quick trip to tire the boys out.
Got to GZ and the trickiest bit was juggling the two hounds leads on the path while trying to look for the cache. I overlooked it the first time, assuming it was meant to be there and then realised it was the cache on the second pass.
Thanks for the cache - all good here.

I am in town for New Years and I thought I'd grab a cache or two while I am here. So after parking as close as I could I made my way to GZ on foot. I spotted the cache straight away but had to choose my timing to make the grab as there were lots of muggles around. I'm not the first here today I see. So the log book has been signed and the cache is nicely back in it's spot all ready for the next geo-hunter. Thanks heaps for taking the time to set up this cache. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so. TFTC and Happy New Years!
Phone gps was swinging around..Finally it settled and I found it...easy when you look in right place...so glad it wasn't tiny.
Google Maps was bound and determined to get me to park at the side of the motorway, but I knew better and got myself to the right parking lot. I then hiked over to make the find. TFTC.
FTF I think (?).
Well at least for this cache after publication!
Saw the old cache here, but archived, so of course I expected a new one.
Ended up finding the old cache (now removed) and the new cache with a pre published dates log. I suspect they thought it was the old one.
I suppose I’ll just claim {FTF} on this one!
Thanks for the new cache!
