Logs
After a big 21,000 km trip over the top end of AU with lots of side detours. Am now caching around the south west of WA for a while before heading back east again.TFTC. This looks like it was once a great trail. Excellent containers and each with its loco or two. Very nice.Sadly with all the wet weather and growth around the area, most caches were either really hard to find or impossible. I ended up with 9 that I could not find. I even looked for each a second time on the return walk.I think the caches are likely there, just impossible to locate.Another wet cache. Dried the loco a bit. Log was too wet.
Both log book and diesel very wet. Diesel looked non E too happy about it either. Picture taken if needed. Also placed a little present in the fence nearby for any geodogs passing through
Another great little find, I do love these little trains.
Log was damp but still readable.

Sadly this was my last one in the series I would have loved for it to keep on going! I have enjoyed the walk and finding all the well constructed caches. I did not see any people on the trail at all just the trains going up and down the line. This cache was soon spotted, log signed and replaced as found. Thanks Cirrus_WA for putting this all together for our enjoyment and for all the smileys along the way. A fav for the series.
Determined to get to the 1000 find milestone I headed out today to this series to help close the gap.
Thankful for a quick find.
Thanks for the hide Cirrus_WA

Beautiful day to be out caching. The two Geo-hubby’s (richlink & ILT) took to the track with their bikes to tackle this fantastic themed series. As grandparents of girls we don’t see too much of the trains these days but our two sons were certainly fans in their early years. Some tricky hides, some easier. Thanks Cirrus_WA
Mr ILT and Mr RL cycled off into the beautiful spring sunshine in search of Thomas and his friends. Some of the caches took quite a while to find.
Thanks for this great series, they had fun.

post night shift I love nothing more than to work off the fuzziness with a bit of a ride/walk and a cache or two if possible. As both my boys were big fans of the above show and had many many of the trains this series naturally beckoned. Got a little bit wet on a stormy looking morning but saw a couple of awesome rainbows and a single dogwalker was the only other human that I came across. cache and log in excellent condition tftc
Dropped my mom off at a nearby hospital today for a quick procedure, so decided to go out and claim some more smileys whilst I wait for her.
Nice quick find here, log signed and cache replaced as found. Really enjoying this walk along the railway this morning.

First cache for the day, and first in this series.
There was water inside the outer container, but the log was dry.
Great concept and execution of this series.

I'd been wanting to tackle this series for a while now and I had a couple of hours up my sleeve so decided today was the day.
Really liked the style of the caches and the fact that most were very straightforward finds, with only a couple of them venturing a little further from the track.
Being a train driver myself and driving along this section of track at least twice each workday (often 4 times), I really enjoyed the series theme.
Diesel has derailed.. but judging by his attitude, he probably had it coming! Cache and contents all fine though.
Thanks for a great series of caches Cirrus_WA. Super enjoyable couple of hours out playing my favourite game. ᓚᘏᗢ

Found it. TFTC Cirrus_WA. Had a Visa and a day pass so I crossed the boarder with my supplies, and ventured into the deep dark depths of the unknown. The challenge for me today was this Railway Series and the series round Lake Walyungup. Happy to say all completed, with no DNF's, although there was a few times I was tempted to move on but persistence prevailed. I returned with a bucket full of smiley's on this perfect day for geocaching. Thanks for placing and maintaining this series Cirrus_WA. Oh, sorry about the generic logs.
Thanks Cirrus_WA. This series brings back lots of memories of bedtime stories nearly 30 years ago. Our eldest was a huge fan of Thomas and his friends.
Nice easy find. "Coughs and sneezes spread diesels"

Out on the bike today to tackle some caches along the train line. Had a total of 55 finds and 0 DNFs. All caches were replaced as found. TFTC
Out after lockdown to give the geopooches a walk before the sun disappears. We enjoyed the walk to gz and made a nice quick find once there. We made our mark on your log and returned your cache back to its place of hiding. We will have to come back when we have more time and do the full series. TFTC Cirrus_WA.
We came out to give the geopups and ourselves a walk as soon as lockdown ended, and a quick cache or two. We walked around to get this one and will return to get the others another time. Loved the story on Duck. Thanks for the cache Cirrus_WA.
Out for an afternoon ride to get this new stretch of caches. 15 finds, 0 dnfs

A series wouldn’t be complete without Diesel. Toby is a fave but too can’t win them all. Thank you for hiding this cache.

Mostly She found it before me
The weather is very warm day... plenty water in the car - good job...
Signed the log as EV and KB.

Thanks Cirrus_WA for placing and maintaining this cache. Out and about with Barnzy12 getting this new series as the first day of the year draws to an end. Happy New Year TFTH
We had worked our way back to Perth after completing some 4x4 stuff north or Two rocks and I suggested to c10 that we tackle this railway series in the cooler weather this arvo. Was a little hot to start a h but cooled down nicely with a slight breeze to make it a pleasant walk.
Thanks Cirrus we enjoyed this series a lot with nice containers. I’m very poor for favourite points so the first one will cop it.

Really enjoyed this well thought out series and the cute, appropriately themed caches.
A well deserved FP coming your way for all the time and effort you put into the series.
TFTC Cirrus_WA this is find #11053 for us.

Last one for us. Loved them all as you can see as it is the first time that I have awarded a favourite for every cache in a series. Hope I did not miss any. TFTC Cirrus_WA
Woke up with a clear head and a coffee to sit down with the computer to read the news when the phone started pinging .As they weren't to far away and I could do with a walk so loaded the GPS and headed out . TFTC and loved the containers
We had just gotten up when we noticed these new caches and as we had to go to Wellard sometime today decided to go for a drive and do some of them.
