On a road trip with Net61 exploring Kaikoura and finding as many caches as we can. Saw some seals but no cache
Trouve ! / Found it ! 5233me cache trouve.Merci Injeanious pour la cache 5233th cache found.Thank you Injeanious for the cache
There are people living in the layby, their tents are across the access tracks. Didn't feel comfortable walking over their tents so didn't attempt this one.
The last leg of our journey on our 2nd tiki tour in NZ heading from Kaikora down to ChCh grabbing a few caches as we went. Here we searched all around but could not locate this one Tim and Viv - ddm
First visit back to the SI since early 2020 and doing a road trip loop of the northern parts of the island. Our main stops are Kaikoura, Nelson, Westport and Greymouth with stops along the way to find some caches. Thanks to the COs for placing and maintaining their caches for our enjoyment.
On the correct side of the road to stop for this one today. We also saw seals when back at the car.Thanks.
Another minute cache collected on the way back from doing some work in Blenheim. Nice little picnic area, I don't think i'd actually noticed as i'd driven by all these times. A few seals lounging around in the sun... wouldn't complain if I could do the same to be fair!
TFTC Injeanious, the cache was found in good order Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 6 find(s) of 6 today, making this find #4265

Found on our way home from Kaikoura. After I'd found and logged the cache, I looked out to sea and noticed the dozens of seals all over the exposed rocks and reefs!
One of a small number of caches we located today in and around Kaikoura before we headed off to Christchurch. Took a minute or two to spot. Great day weather-wise in this very scenic part of the country! #6003. TFTC.
Great to have all these laybys along the coast to hide Geocache. I harvested a banana passionfruit.
I have overshot this one on previous occasions and nearly did again today. Luckily there was no traffic in either direction allowing me to make a quick turn into here. This is a nice wee spot away from the main stopping places along this coast. No one else here which made it all the better, TFTC # 18,909

One of the caches found on our way back from Chch to Blenheim today.
After initially driving past this one, we backtracked as our other choice of stop was a bit more populated. This was quieter for photo ops, and had a cache.
Just waited for a young family to pass on by, and once they did it was a quick find of this well camoed cache.

Doing a few caches while there is still sunlight on my return leg home.

Summer Geocaching Road Trip - Day 1 - Christchurch to Picton. It's been a while since I've been off on a road trip and this one has been on the cards for quite a while. I plan to visit some parts of the country where I've done very little caching before and hope to complete the qualification for a challenge cache in Nelson. This one took me longer to find than it should have done. Cache blends in well. TFTC, Biggles.
I was just about to give up when I spotted it. As someone else said, it's well camouflaged. Thanks for the cache.
Managed to stop on the opposite side of the road. Well camoed. Everything ok. TFTC.
Day 12 of my Spring Holiday and next leg of the journey on my final holiday day is from Kaikoura to Christchurch and what a Stunner of a day it is! Easy find here TFTC
Having a milestone birthday this weekend, my aim was 50 caches. That was too much for one day so the 50 finds were spread over the celebratory weekend, 1/2 on my way South and 1/2 on my way North.
This was find number 17.

This is a nice quiet little spot.
Everything looks very different along this coast since our last visit.
Thanks for putting this here for us to find

This is another of your clever camo jobs blends in so well. Funny wee area but glad we could stop in motorhome. Thanks for this cache Injeanious.
This area deserves a cache. A great little spot. Unfortunately the toilet paper at gz slowed down much search. Thanks for bringing us here Injeanious
Another great stopping site along this highway. And andther cache snagged and tagged. Cheers
Day 5 - Christmas Eve Friday 24 December - From Amberly we return to Picton today. With the Seagnoid departing for wellington this evening. With a few stops along the way to help the day go by. Were dragging Toby along with a dead battery today. Bummer.
The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby and I are of on another Geo adventure this time to Mt Cook for 5 days. Met up with Bullertrout and Bro on the way down. Lake Pukaki was fine but Mt Cook was wet and wild with the Hooker Valley being closed due to high winds, so did not stay long. We went exploring Tekapo, Timaru and a round trip to Lake Coleridge. Short trip and very tiring but awesome.

Yay! parking on the northbound side of the road! So few of these. Collected a TB to move on.
Part of a big trip with Taybeedragon to explore Mt Cook. We explored a little of it but there was gale winds, lots of cloud and rain. Some of the tracks had been closed and others were right dodgy given that we did not have our foul weather tramping kit. We had booked to stay for two nights but left the same day. More time to explore parts of Canterbury! So now I have been to Mt Cook . Still yet to see Aorangi.

Our last find on this trip. I think is the last one left in the series. I have found them all and enjoyed the stops.
We're on our first summer campervan trip. JDScout and I plan to do three this summer. This trip is from Christchurch to Motueka to Blenheim and back.
Thanks for hiding this cache Injeanious I appreciate it. It has helped add an extra layer of fun in our holiday.

Just a few more before we head back for tea. Another nice pullover area and a quick find. Left a laminated tb to continue its journey. tftc
The last one for the weekend up to Nelson, time to get our skates on to get home by midnight. Cheers
Quick find with angelic_kiwi on our way south. Lovely spot we would not have visited had it not been for geocaching - tftc
The container blended in so well it took me a while to see it. Lovely spot with easy access to the beach. TFTC!!
Off on a road trip to Chch for the weekend. With limited time and raining on and off. We still managed to get in a bit of caching along the way. Down the East cost and back up the West cost was the plan but stormy weather put a stop to that. With no roads open to get home on we stopped in Kaikoura for an unplanned extra night. So thank you for for the caches you placed out there for us to find we had fun and frustration finding them along the way. Looking forward to the next trip to find the ones we missed. Apologies for the cut and paste.
Time to start heading home after a great weekend exploring the kaikoura area grabbing caches along the way..

Come for a visit with my kids and they found it wasn't sure what it was now I have the app and something we will continue to do from now on
Today's caching mission was to cache along the coast south of Kaikoura. Third cache sought and found as I made my way along the coast on this truely magnificent day - blue skies, no wind and flat seas. Many boaties out off shore. Saw a dolphin pod and seals pass by. What a bonus. TFTC Injeanious.
A nice quick find thanks.
Ms_KR and I had a weekend away up to Kaikoura. A lovey day, but a wee bit windy!
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

#19397. Parking was OK on the left heading north, so we stopped and scuttled across the road. I went to the right hint object, but due to crap searching I didn't spot the cache. Troodles eventually arrived, and found the cache pretty quickly. TFTC.
My Oregon lead me on a merry dance here, and took me down the beach first. Even with my circuitous route, I still found the cache in a spot SWNZ had already searched unsuccessfully.
Left a TB. TFTC.

Found with NZDi. It is Waitangi Weekend and NZDi decides she wants to spend a few days in Christchurch to do some retail therapy. A couple of our grandchildren have birthdays coming up and she can't find anything suitable in the local stores in Blenheim and is hoping the big city has a better selection. The plan is to travel south on Friday caching along SH 1, do the shopping on Saturday morning and cache out at the McLeans Island MTB park in the afternoon, then head home on Sunday with a detour to cache the K2R- Passchendaele Memorial Path between Kaiapoi and Rangiora (I guess that is what K2R stands for). Throughout the weekend we dated and signed our logs in full, as KM + ND or a combination of both depending on the room available on the sheet/book.
Today is day one of the trip and having pretty much cached out SH 1 between Blenheim and Kaikoura, our aim is to attempt to do the same between Kaikoura and Christchurch. This is our fifth cache of the day and is another one of the new listing released since NCITR vacated the area last November. We followed the elephant track through the long grass past the family memorial to make another QEF PnG on our way south.

The elephant tracks led the way and then it was an easy find and sign and back in the spot where we had found it. TFTC
Cache lying loose in grass at base of tree. High wind may have dislodged it. Placed back closer to trunk. TFTC. Phippa1
Nicely done.
Back on the Mainland, caching south with the wagging tails, in Van.
Happy New Year, and happy caching TFTC

FTF at 12:15. Came for a drive with Mrs agcnz from our hideout in Kaikoura to have a look at some of these interesting spots. A couple of possible FTFs was also an incentive . Arrived and there was quite a strong smell of urine in the air but with the wind blowing off the beach I’m pretty sure it was from nearby seals rather than anything else. Did a couple of circuits of the hint object before spotting the cache. Signed the gratifyingly blank logbook, TFTC!
