So much erosion along the coast line here where coordinates are…. Sadly nothing here.
Initially surprised that it wasn’t obvious given previous logs. However we could see that there has been rapid erosion —— big pile of sand fallen down since the last rain, and suspect cache has gone with it.
What a lovely spot. A few people around but nobody paying any attention to me. TFTC.
With sveppi on our 2 week Chriatmas break in the South Island, we deove to the end of the road and fossicked for Pounamu for 4 hours. I grabbed the cache on the way down to the beach. Easy find. As for the Pounamu, we are still figuring out if our green stones are greenstone!
A bit of an impromptu visit for coffee at the beach. Lucky I checked for caches and took a pen
Cache in good nick, not many muggles today.

(Logs signed Rincewind3 or R3 if saving space. Occasionally signed BRN if caching as a team with *B*o&bronnie, *R*incewind3 and *N*otManlyJack)

With 2 caches to find here, it was worth the wee detour en route to Greymouth. Lots of cars parked along the road to GZ, and I wondered what they were here for.
It didn't take long to find the cache, which was good as neither of us were wearing our jerseys and it was quite chilly at GZ with the sea breeze. TFTC.

#21551. There were a few people on the beach, but nobody near GZ. Quick find here. TFTC.
The two container system seems an effective way of keeping the log bone dry. From arrival to discovery about 3 seconds. Thanks.
A quick easy find on our road trip. Log was very wet, we have replaced with a sheet of waterproof paper. Original log left in outer cache. TFTC!
Found on a nice trip down the coast. Hopefully tomorrow will go over Arthur's Pass
A bit of heavy rain didn't stop us from finding the Cache down at the Beach.TFTH
Lovely beach - over 20 years since I did the Coast to Coast, thanks CO for bringing me back - TFTC
After passing this road many times over the last year or so I finally came down here to see the beach. Beautiful place to visit. Quick find. TFTC
Found with Kiwimykl. Today is the fifth day of our visit, and todays mission is to tidy up a few areas where we didn't quite achieve what we intended to do early in the holiday. That means a revisit to Londonderry Rock and Hokitika Gorge, do the Woodstock Rimu Heritage Trail and grab a few PnGs on the way back to Greymouth. Having ticked off all of the major missions mentioned above we are now on the road back to Greymouth and stopped by here for a QEF PnG.
Kiwimykl and I decided to spend a few days based in Greymouth between Christmas and New Years as a geocaching break from our greater family, who we are having three camping/caravanning holidays between 17 Dec 2021 and 24 Jan 2022. Over five days we cached the 'Grey' area taking in such places as the Larriken Track, Omutumotu Bush Walk, Mahinapua Tramway, Brunner Mine Site including both sides of the Grey River as far as Stillwater, Hokitika Gorge, Woodstock Rimu Heritage Trail, Rewanui Walkway, some Survivor series puzzles we missed on a previous visit as well as a few PnGs in between the various locations. Our logs were either in full or abridged to KM + ND as log space permitted.
Thanks to all to CO's who placed and maintained these caches, especially G7&M and H&H. However from the amount of pill bottles used as cache containers, we have serious concerns about your respective health and wish you all the best in that respect. As a token of our gratitude, we left a token of our appreciation behind which will become apparent in due course.

GK hung out here while ML was on her mission = mission accomplished.
There was a huge digger working around here, it had widened the road and then headed away off down the beach road.
The ocean was fantastic to watch and surprisingly there were quite a few people around even though the weather was not all that flash.
The cache was an instant find in the obvious place.
We have been here a few times before and always stop to admire the wapiti on the way in, their velvet was looking pretty impressive today, even though they are not at the full height yet.
Thanks for placing this cache and thank you for the smiley

Found on a nice walk , didn’t get to sign as left pen in the car . Few swaps in there . The deer are roaring down here and man they stink ! Check them out as they are very cool to see how they do the wild thing lol
Tyfc ,nice easy find with Kerry owl, 3rd time lucky with muggles normally parked here
A nice quick find thanks. Fav Point for the hint!!
Ms_KR and I went for a wee holiday on the West Coast, chasing some of new PWGT over there, and any others we need to find.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Lovely beach pretty calm today a few bods fishing not sure if they got anything thanks for this cache maitahisteve
Cache was a quick find and I walked as truck picking up portaloos was in the way
Walked on to here from the nearby TMGT cache. No problems, a quick find in the obvious spot. Signed log, TFTC!
Found the obvious hiding spot in the dark without too much problem but did a few laps before I found the cache! Daylight would have been much easier though I’m close to finally getting 100 caches in a day. Tftc
On our way home now as work tomorrow. Had to stop by here for something else so grabbed the cache on the way. tftc
A bumpy drive to the cache site to find a camper van parked overlooking the area. We hoped they didnt think too much of a couple of oldies wandering around the place. TFTC
Lovely spot on a drizzly afternoon. The rain didn't stop 3 locals from fishing off the beach, but i suspect that to locals a steady drizzle doesn't count as "rain".
Quickly located the obvious feature, then hilariously circled it a few times before noticing the natural camo.

Now the big event is over we can turn our thoughts to geocaching again and since it's a cracker day here on the Coast why not start today. Phone GPS was giving us a bit of a runaround here so Hazedarus got the Garmin out and immediately found the cache where I had looked earlier, oops!
Thank you maitahisteve and Season's Greetings to all.
Thank you maitahisteve and Season's Greetings to all.
After a day of overindulgence today was for fresh air and some exercise. A small list was compiled with something old, something new, P@Gs and a decent walk. With the wide open space you'd think that the phones would direct us to GZ without a problem Holymu was directed opposite where I was and the Garmin was fired up for the occasion. It pointed where Holymu already unsuccessfully looked so I no more than casually rummaged around a bit and surprisingly finished up holding the cache. Thank you matahisteve
