A quiet playground helped but took a little looking till spotted.Spending some time on the south coast for a while. Mostly just some peace and quiet, but finding the time for a few caches as well. A short and quiet day today. The past few days of increasing pain had taken its toll and a slow start for me, but a good visit to the botanic gardens and other local caches. A weekend BMX event had the area busy, had to leave a few caches with all the activity but still mananaged a good number in the time. Thanks for the cache.
Spending some time caching around the NSW/ACT southern tablelands with lots of side trips. TFTC.A nice slow day grabbing caches around the Batemans Bay botanical Gardens and the surrounding area. Some nice 4WD roads with the local fire trucks practising. Lots of mountain bikes doing their thing so was unable to get a trad and two puzzle solves due to crowds.Took a bit to spot but obvious when it was.
This morning we set off for the Botanical Gardens. On our last visit some years ago it had been closed as it only opens from Wednesday to Sunday. It is a lovely place with beautiful manicured gardens and paths with water areas and an Australian bush section. Wonderful facilities and a great place for a walk. Once we had finished we had lunch before heading back to town caching as we went. We found some good hides and containers on our journey both at the gardens and on the way home, giving away more favourites than we have for some time.A beautiful sunny day, and time well spent.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache J+J.au.**SKI Pair****
Accompanied by ALL7, the weather is beautiful, sunny, and warm. Wow, we had great enjoyed walking around the wildlife park area, and last the day today before flying home soon.Luckily, no one Muggles around there. Impressive cache and all good. TFTM Thank you to J&Jau.
A cooler start to the day today, driving up from Broulee to BB, grabbing what we can as we go. Came to the Botanical Gardens and enjoyed our walk around collecting the series. A lot for children playing when we first approached so we left it to the end and managed to get what we needed.Total Caches Found 16317TFTC J+J.au
9th of 11 found today. What a great series. Came here with FFP (credit to her as she made a couple of the finds I was missing) primarily to grab some caches, but was floored by how good this place has been resurrected since the bushfires. Really amazing. First day of school holidays so we had to skip #2 to begin with, but thankfully peeps had cleared out by the time we returned.Big kudos for a couple of the hides which were extra special, Including one that I actually rested my geocaching notepad on and another that I tried every direction, except the right one for too long. Lots of creativity shown and thoughtfulness as well. All caches were in good condition and apologies for the generic logs.TFTC J+J.au and the beyond
Had to attempt this twice since there was too many muggles using the playground. Once they all cleared the cache was quickly located. TFTC J+J.au!
Found with Nibletricecakes and K8tybee. It was great to find it this time - I don't know how I missed it a couple of years ago. TFTC.
We spent quite a while searching for this cache, lucky there were no muggles around . Thanks for the cache tnln replaced as found sl
Down the coast with K8TYBEE and GLISS! to enjoy the anniversary of the first ever earthcache! Great to be able to check out the Botanic Gardens whilst we were here, even if we could only manage a short visit. With the sun out and bity it was a nice hot sticky hunt for this one today. Glad to have spotted it so the crawling in the bark chips was worth it! Thanks for the cache.
Tackled this well put together series this morning with some excellent hides and a nice walk.Thankfully the playground was pretty good and it was a nice placement.TFTC!
Driving down the coast with our campervan. Today we enjoyed this nice and sunny day walking and geocaching in Botanic garden. Thanks for the cache!
Couple of Finnish vanlifers traveling around this beautiful coast of Australia with Matilda the campervan. Stopping here and there to enjoy life without any plans.Mntti1 and I started our travels few weeks ago. After getting everything set up and visiting some friends, we began making our way south from Sydney.Last couple days we have spent around BB area and this morning decided to visit the Botanic garden. After filling our waterbottles we walked here. We sat in few different locations and soon found the cache. Thanks for the cache!
#6409.This was the last traditional E.R.B.G cache for the day. Here the kids were less interested in finding the cache and rather directed their attention and energy to the play park. After a quick find, the kids enjoyed the play equipment while some of us explored some other spots in the garden. Thanks for placing a cache here for us to find.
Found it. Kids absolutely loved the E.R.B.G circuit and I really enjoyed the beautiful walk and views.
Found today with the help of the Geokids. Once again we had an awesome time in this gem of a location. TFTC
Decided to spend an hour here before heading home. Some really great containers that are well designed and blend so well into the surroundings. TFTC.
Beautiful weather greeted us on this beautiful weekend up at Batemans Bay. A lovely walk around the Botanic Gardens was had. It was sobering to see the scars of the damage of the bushfires in 2019/2020 but oh so heartening to see nature coming back. Thanks for this series!
This one was a little tricky as there were many children and families around. The adhesive has failed on the outside container so it was not attached but instead leaning against a pole.

Found amongst the Muggles, sent GeoTeen to perform the grab, easy and quick find while having lunch. TFTC
Spend a great day and night in Batemans bay yesterday with good friends. After a lazy morning went out to visit the botanic gardens enjoying art and nature and some really nice caches, very recommendable. All caches in the garden are in excellent condition and everyone of them has has something different about them. Before going in and after coming out I also grabbed a few solved puzzles and nearby caches at the highway and the dam. This one needed a bit stealth, but no problem, logbook replaced.

Another sensational day of caching in the Bateman's bay / Eurobodalla region. This really was a lovely series which brought us to the Eurobodalla Botanical Gardens and following them in order from 1 to 9 led us on a 3km walk through the gardens in a logical order. The gardens are a hidden gem with something for everyone with a kids playground, gift shop, nursery, bushwalks, eucalypt lawn and today - live music!
Had the pleasure of being introduced to the CO by Wilbert67 while enjoying lunch at the garden café- a complete fluke / chance encounter! Thankful for all the caches you have placed in this area - Appreciate the effort put in to make them so special.
The 4 gardens nearby that you can recreate at home are well worth a visit.

I spied the cache from the otherside of the structure. Bunadoorian soon had the cache in hand. Once signed the cache was replaced as found. TFTC and for bringing us to the Botanical Gardens J=J.au.
Grub62 and I arrived at GZ and there was only 1 family of muggles in the area but they were not too close so it was not a problem. We didn't attract too much of their attention so all was good. Grub62 spotted the cache from the other side of the structure. With the logbook signed it was time to see more of these lovely botanical gardens on the way to the next cache. TFTC.
I had a quick feel but didn't have too much of a look with the muggles plus not overly keen on playground hides so happy to let this slide today
Unfortunately it was just too hot to stay around searching for this one. Will be back on a cooler day to try again.
Enjoying a walk around the garden and marvelling at how well it has recovered since the fires TFTC
We visited this location 3 times today and each time there were people there. Too bad. After getting all the answers to the other 8 in the series, we managed to deduce this one. We suspect that the COs probably knew that this cache may be like that and gave it the "easiest" result. Thank you for that J+J.au
Found with Ilmari_the_Red on our to visit. This one was particularly tricky, as a muggle was sitting near GZ, and the cache was not on the corner that the GPS was pointing to. Had to get down and dirty to spot where it was. Fortunately the muggle mum was much more concerned with keeping an eye on her kids, rather than watching what we were up to. TFTC!
On the last day at the coast with my New Zealand family (including the Trifolia Argentea team), we return to Canberra via a walk and geocaching tour in the gardens here.
The play space cache took a bit more searching - and there were plenty of (fortunately, disinterested) muggles about. TA was able to spot it eventually, though.
Thanks for the cache

Nice hide! Except I would hate to do it on a busy day :/ stealthy is NOT my middle name haha. Lucky for me there was no one around.

Great day to walk in the garden today so we took the opportunity to check the caches in this series and accompany our grandson.
Most of the caches were fine with some getting a little attention, some new log books and some baggies.

Starting our walk early in the morning when the Botanical gardens opened. Very quite with not many people around yet.
Ground is very wet with puddles but did not stop us from finding this one.
Such a great play park, geo_junkies 4 enjoyed the musical instruments best. Would be a fabulous spot for a picnic or BBQ with the family.
Thankyou J+J.au for a great cache. Now onto the next one.

Down in the area camping and decided to check out the Botanic Gardens. While browsing I saw a number of caches, so I thought it would be a good chance to find them. DustyEartha and Lacelot had a great time on the play ground.
Thank you for the cache

Today's main goal was to get the Botanic Garden caches, considering the sheer number of caches plus how cool they sounded! I found the original series years ago but it's good to see it reincarnated and from a different CO perspective. Loved the ingenuity of the series and how well each cache was sequenced (as it made it much easier to navigate the grounds). It's also a beautiful walk with lots of different cool things to see. Thank you heaps J+J.au!
Awesome hide! Really strange looking playground, never seen anything like it.

Geodad (Froggycache) and I were on a family picnic, and there are caches here! He did all the work on this one.

First cache in nearly 6 months. Out with family for a post Christmas picnic, this area has recovered well since the fires two years ago, the gardens have been well maintained. Difficult to find when you have to kneel. Found with geoson Rednight2000.

Can't imagine how you would find this one on a crowded day but fortunately today the playground was rather empty.
In the Eurobodalla area visiting from Sydney and staying at Depot Beach. Took a minute to home in on this one after we rang all the bells nearby. There are so few people here today, it is heavenly. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
Was looking forward to the series but this one is in absolutelt terrible place
Managed to find a kid free moment, but playground caches are the worst and should be banned
Headed to Moruya with fitzy_1965, Death Killer and my_name_jeff_1 for a weekend of caching.
With what turned out to be perfect weather, we had a great day caching as Capital Crunchers with albida33, Sol de Lune, Smittengranny, Joolay, kitty katch, barb2e & cosmonaut97 (plus a couple of muggles).
All caches were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned.

With ACT residents no being able to travel to an area around the capital including the coast, it was time to plan a trip. There was a good sized group where we were going to base in Moruya for three days. I traveled with Sol de Lune and Smitten Granny. Others were Cosmonaut97, Kitty Katch, Joolay, Barb2e, fitzy_1965 & MinnieK. Most logs were signed Kapital Krunchers. We had a great weekend of lots of caching in fantastic weather. The first day we met up with others at the botanic garden before caching through the coastal region north of Moruya. We even attempted some first finds in the afternoon, but were beaten by Tankengine who seems always to get the jump on them. The day ended with Dinner at the golf club with Tankengine, Dty73 & Youban.
We had a nice walk around the gardens after checking in at the visitors centre. A few very creative caches. We even managed to work out the GZ for the final of the series.
Thanks for the cache J+J.au

An invasion by a group of ACT cachers to Moruya area and this series was our fist walk for the day. Once all through the Covid entrance test, we set off, finding all the caches as we went. No real issues with any of the find, with the log usual signed as Capital Crunchers.
Thanks for showing us the area J+J.au...a few neat caches here.

25,142. Found with minniek and a group of Canberra Cachers heading down to the Moruya region for a weekend of fun caching.
With travel for caching an option again, a group of cachers from the Canberra and Goulburn region - known as Capital Crunchers or CC in logs - planned a trip to Moruya for what turned out to be a beautiful sunny weekend with many memorable caches and moments. We were also rewarded with a bunch of new caches being published while we were there - cool ! My thanks to my caching companions and all the cache COs for a very entertaining and enjoyable weekend. Bring on the next one !
This was a great walk around the Gardens with some really great hides. Log signed, cache replaced as found, then we continued on our way.
Thanks J+J.au !!

I am on my way down to the coast for a weekend of caching with a great mob from Canberra. My apologies for generic logs but today we found 60 caches and are now all sitting around chatting.
It was a challenging but incredibly successful day. Huge thanks to all the COS for the placement and maintenance of these caches. All logs were signed either with individual names or as Capital Crunchers.

Lovely to finally get here after so many years. Shame about the fires but regeneration is going well.

In town ahead of a SES exercise over the weekend, had a few spare hours this morning to tick off a refreshed game board around the gardens. Arrow bouncy, ground wet after overnight rain/morning dew and find delayed by muggles with kids but eventually a TOTT and a different angle helped locate the cache. 30m onto the next one, remembered I needed to collect clues at each stop so a hasty double back and repeat retrieval… just quicker this time.
Found after a short search. Luckily no one was playing here. Cache and log are good. TFTC J+J.au.
Was taken to the local event to cheer me up, and after was told we were doing a cache walk...... Great event and good hides....
