I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi Injeanious
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.

Summer Geocaching Road Trip - Day 1 - Christchurch to Picton. It's been a while since I've been off on a road trip and this one has been on the cards for quite a while. I plan to visit some parts of the country where I've done very little caching before and hope to complete the qualification for a challenge cache in Nelson. Took a bit of a search and some up close inspection to find this one. All good in the end. TFTC, Biggles.
Caching trip with busy paws, lytteltonwitch and coconuts3. Day 6! Homeward bound. Injeanious, we have found the original so bringing you back the replacement. Thanks!

Found 2ligs. We replaced the original in correct spot and will giveback the replacement. TFTC and goodspot
A nice spot on a stunning day. An easy find as it was lying on the ground. Have hidden it in the seat. Cache and contents are fine otherwise. TFTC
Having a milestone birthday this weekend, my aim was 50 caches. That was too much for one day so the 50 finds were spread over the celebratory weekend, 1/2 on my way South and 1/2 on my way North.
This was find number 1 as the rain started to fall it was eventually found.

Reasonably quick find but found on the ground. Replaced where thought it should be. TFTC
Another trip to Christchurch but as the appointment isn't until tomorrow morning we had a leisurely trip down. Timed our stop here to arrive for lunch and after eating, the few cars that had been here had left. Wandered across to GZ and a short search located the cache. Log signed off, cache replaced as found and we headed off to the next cache. tftc

Today was successful & RNZ found it quickly. Last time we stopped here it was party central with Indian music playing & curry being heated...today we had this beautiful rest area to ourselves.
Heading back to Boomtown today from Christchurch & RNZ has targeted a few caches to grab on our trip back. Most on our side of the road home

Last of the day for us.
Have been here before but we shared the space with a group of Indian men who were firing up the cooker and the stereo. We skipped the party to search another day.
That was today. It was fine, but a bitter little breeze was blowing. Searched a few spots before the correct one. All good. I like these spots up and down the coast, they have done a good job. The approach to this is a work in progress it seems. TFTC injeanious.
Driving today from Christchurch to Blenheim, and picking off a few caches on the way, as we tend to do. Mostly, but not exclusively, those on ‘our’ side of the road today. All pretty good, thanks all COs.

What a great area this has become, tucked away from the road a little bit.
A good hiding place for the cache too.
Thanks for setting this up

We thought this would be a nice spot to stop and sit in the sunshine and have a coffee, but no! we encountered a sea fog just north of here and it was with us all the way to Kaikoura.
A great place to stop but it was so windy that we didn't hang around long at all. TFTC
The wind nearly blew us out to sea here. Not a place to hang around today. Was a pretty quick find luckily. TFTC.
They have done a great job along this section of road, nice quick find then another quick park n grab just up the road for a coffee. It looks like they've opened up the walks behind Okiwi Bay again. Looks like I'll have to come back and do that walk now, I was planning on doing it just before the quake. Thanks for the cache Injeanious

Only 2 caches on the list for the drive home today from Kaikoura. Last time we thought we had checked everywhere - today we also checked the right spot. The Pou are a greataddition to the area.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Time for a wee family summers holiday; Kaikoura, Picton and Nelson.
Heading towards Picton now....loving all these new pull offs; and these Pou are fantastic. Thanks.

What an amazing Pou, great to stop and have a look, the cache was a bonus.TFTCP.S Sorry for very late logging.
This is a sneaky seat hidden from view fro the topside. Left our calling card. Cheers. Another great place to visit and another great pou.
Day 5 - Christmas Eve Friday 24 December - From Amberly we return to Picton today. With the Seagnoid departing for wellington this evening. With a few stops along the way to help the day go by. Were dragging Toby along with a dead battery today. Bummer.
The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby and I are of on another Geo adventure this time to Mt Cook for 5 days. Met up with Bullertrout and Bro on the way down. Lake Pukaki was fine but Mt Cook was wet and wild with the Hooker Valley being closed due to high winds, so did not stay long. We went exploring Tekapo, Timaru and a round trip to Lake Coleridge. Short trip and very tiring but awesome.

Another of the great pull-over spaces on hte Kaikoura road. Walked well past the cahe out towards the beach before the GPS changed its mind and told me to back up a bit. A lot.
Part of a big trip with Taybeedragon to explore Mt Cook. We explored a little of it but there was gale winds, lots of cloud and rain. Some of the tracks had been closed and others were right dodgy given that we did not have our foul weather tramping kit. We had booked to stay for two nights but left the same day. More time to explore parts of Canterbury! So now I have been to Mt Cook and am still yet to see Aorangi. Heading back home now.

A damp drizzly morning. Good for caching as no muggles. Love what they have done along here.
Was a bit tricky to retrieve but got it in the end. Another lovely place. Thanks
After parking the snail shell up in Kaikoura it was time to visit all those caches I saw on the way south and couldn't stop at.
Had to my pen to assist with the extraction.
Cheers for the cache.

Special greetings to the Ngāi Tahu whānui tipuna and tangata whenua. I am loving this rebuild and these special pou and artwork all along the road. What a wonderful outcome from the catastrophe. I had a DNF here a few months ago so it felt good to turn that frown upside down today. Second name in the new logbook. Thanks for the maintenance and cache Injeanious # 17,489
Checked on the cache and it had indeed been muggled. A new cache is now in place.
Staying in Kaikoura for Easter and decided to go collect a few caches on the road North toward Clarence River. Just as well I brought along my TOTT. TFTC
Back here for another look, and once I had the right hint object it was a fairly quick find. Great to have all there landscaped rest areas along the road. TFTC
A nice quick find thanks. I headed to the car for some tott, and by the the time I go back Ms_KR had found and signed. Cheers.
Ms_KR and I had a weekend away up to Kaikoura. A lovey day for the drive home 30 degrees in the back country, so quite warm!
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

We made very hard work of this one. My GPSr was initially insisting that GZ was 20m away, but after realising there was no hint object there, we found the cache at the obvious spot. Unfortunately, it had been pushed in too far, and we needed a special tool from the car (a bike spoke, don't leave town without one) to winkle it out. While doing the paperwork, my GPSr finally decided that this was indeed the right place to look - so it had taken nearly 10 minutes to settle. We had made hard work of all our finds so far this morning.
Another great location, thanks NCTIR and CAG, and of course the CO. TFTC.

#19408. We seem to struggle with the various Injeanious caches in the new rest areas. This one took a while to spot and then a while to extract. Didn't push it in too far when I replaced it. TFTC.
What an excellent idea to explain a bit of history and make the journey even more interesting. TFTC
Nice spot, but very windy. We tried to replace it the same as we found it. TFTC
Nice monument...great to have a cache placed here took a bit to find & extracr as the last finder had really replaced it thoroughly as to never be found again..but we persevered and succeeded thanks Kiwimykl
This took longer than I would have liked. It is a very popular place to visit. We had to look in between vehicle visits. It was in a place I expected but had been jammed a long way in so needed macwatts special tool to retrieve even though it had a "tail" on it. A welcome stop here on our way south. Thanks for the cache
Time to head back to a 50th overnight party in our home town Christchurch. This was found with my wife on day seven of our eight day holiday in Marlborough based at Picton.
We're on our way back home to Christchurch with a few stops. This was one of them.
JDScout and I are spending a week in Picton. We have spent this week exploring Marlborough and finding a few geocaches. Thanks Injeanious for creating this hide. It was find 9525 for me.
======== NZ Mega 2021 ========
Planning for the NZ Mega 2021 event is well underway. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, October 2021

Found with NZDi. The weather in Blenheim was supposed to be unbearable today, so NZDi told me to prepare some targets in a cooler part of the country. Kaikoura was supposed to be 10 to 12 degrees cooler but not unbearably cold, so we headed that way for the day. I sorted out a couple of pocket queries for around Kaikoura and the route there and came up with 101 targets. We manage to get 23 (24 actually, I just discovered I didn't write a previous find down in my note book) of them plus five if you count the lab cache we got too. Not our best day out, but nothing to be sneezed at either. Some logs were dated and signed in full, but to preserve space most were dated and signed KM & ND.
This was our twenty-third find of the day, our final cache in the Kaikoura District and our tenth and final cache by this CO It was a QEF PnG in the second place I looked. Thanks for your well researched cache pages Injeanious, they are well appreciated. Another FP from me.

A recent hide, nice. A short hunt, and an interesting location.
Back on the Mainland, caching south with the wagging tails, in Van.
Happy New Year, and happy caching TFTC

I drove past this one on my way south a week ago but had time to stop this morning on the return trip. No problems, a relatively quick find with excellent accurate coordinates. This completes this rather good new series for me, with three FTFs as a bonus. Signed log, TFTC!
Randomly pulled over to look at the view and what do you know a cache is here! Easy find, such a cool location. Have lost my pen on this road trip down south, just means will have to come back!
FTF with fanfan-77. Just arrived on South Island, random stop for lunch on the way south, found without looking at coordinates. Cool spot TFTC.
Woohoo {FTF}! With sveppi on the first day of our South Island end of year holiday. Completely fortuitous and unplanned, we knew it was about time for lunch, and the new statue grabbed our attention. A quick check of the website on the phone and saw there was a cache. So we stopped, had lunch, then used the hint to find the cache. Complete surprise to find a clean logsheet, we don't geocache much these days, let alone chase FTFs. Read the logs and found out about the other container soon to be removed so we went back and found that one too! Thanks for the smiles
I placed a cache a few meters from this spot earlier today. Will collect it on my way north in a couple of weeks.
