Found 11:02 24/11/2024 on a lovely sunny day. Thank you J+J.au for the cache and bringing me to this location.
Nicely hidden here, even a little lizard inside which scurried off quickly.Spending some time on the south coast for a while. Mostly just some peace and quiet, but finding the time for a few caches as well. A short and quiet day today. The past few days of increasing pain had taken its toll and a slow start for me, but a good visit to the botanic gardens and other local caches. A weekend BMX event had the area busy, had to leave a few caches with all the activity but still mananaged a good number in the time. Thanks for the cache.
Spending some time caching around the NSW/ACT southern tablelands with lots of side trips. TFTC.A nice slow day grabbing caches around the Batemans Bay botanical Gardens and the surrounding area. Some nice 4WD roads with the local fire trucks practising. Lots of mountain bikes doing their thing so was unable to get a trad and two puzzle solves due to crowds.Nice camo with a quick find.
A favourite from us for a well constructed container hidden right there. This morning we set off for the Botanical Gardens. On our last visit some years ago it had been closed as it only opens from Wednesday to Sunday. It is a lovely place with beautiful manicured gardens and paths with water areas and an Australian bush section. Wonderful facilities and a great place for a walk. Once we had finished we had lunch before heading back to town caching as we went. We found some good hides and containers on our journey both at the gardens and on the way home, giving away more favourites than we have for some time.A beautiful sunny day, and time well spent.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache J+J.au.**SKI Pair****
Accompanied by ALL7, the weather is beautiful, sunny, and warm. Wow, we had great enjoyed walking around the wildlife park area, and last the day today before flying home soon.Impressive cache and all good. TFTM Thank you to J&Jau.
A cooler start to the day today, driving up from Broulee to BB, grabbing what we can as we go. Came to the Botanical Gardens and enjoyed our walk around collecting the series.Nice hide. Fav pointTotal Caches Found 16312TFTC J+J.au
Took myself on a roadtrip to Eurobodalla botanic gardens today purely because it had this series of caches in it!! Unfortunately I only left myself enough time after lunch at the cafe to attempt 4, finding only 2 but I'm excited to return to pick up the rest! Tftc! Sabo ?
3rd of 11 found today. What a great series. Came here with FFP (credit to her as she made a couple of the finds I was missing) primarily to grab some caches, but was floored by how good this place has been resurrected since the bushfires. Really amazing. First day of school holidays so we had to skip #2 to begin with, but thankfully peeps had cleared out by the time we returned.Big kudos for a couple of the hides which were extra special, Including one that I actually rested my geocaching notepad on and another that I tried every direction, except the right one for too long. Lots of creativity shown and thoughtfulness as well. All caches were in good condition and apologies for the generic logs.TFTC J+J.au and the braces.
We liked the handcrafted camouflage of all caches in the series.Found it with grandchildrens help.
A cleverly camoed cache here, quickly located and signed while hopping around the ants. TFTC J+J.au!
continuing our walk around these very pretty gardens, not many muggles or animals it was too hot. This one I think I got very lucky with, it's very clever and deserving of the fav count, I will give it one more. Thanks for the cache J+J.au tnln replaced as found sl
Tackled this well put together series this morning with some excellent hides and a nice walk.Another excellent piece of camo.TFTC!
Wow, another amazingly excellent cache. Again, the only problem was my wife found it before me. Put it down to a case of cache blindness today. Definitely another favourite from me. Such master-crafted caches are brilliant. TFTC
Driving down the coast with our campervan. Today we enjoyed this nice and sunny day walking and geocaching in Botanic garden. Nice camo! Thanks for the cache!
Couple of Finnish vanlifers traveling around this beautiful coast of Australia with Matilda the campervan. Stopping here and there to enjoy life without any plans.Mntti1 and I started our travels few weeks ago. After getting everything set up and visiting some friends, we began making our way south from Sydney.Last couple days we have spent around BB area and this morning decided to visit the Botanic garden. This one had nice camo! Thanks for the cache and FP as a reward!
#6403.We did not expect to find this kind of hide in this spot. Thanks for the effort in creating this cache. FP awarded from us.
Found it. Kids absolutely loved the E.R.B.G circuit and I really enjoyed the beautiful walk and views.
Nice hide. finally silence l cannot hear the kids and most of the muggles are drinking coffee... giving me these trails to myself and being able to search for this cache in peace.
Decided to spend an hour here before heading home. Some really great containers that are well designed and blend so well into the surroundings. TFTC.
Beautiful weather greeted us on this beautiful weekend up at Batemans Bay. A lovely walk around the Botanic Gardens was had. It was sobering to see the scars of the damage of the bushfires in 2019/2020 but oh so heartening to see nature coming back. Thanks for this series!
We loved this one, so clever, and only just caught my eye as something slightly off. StylishParasite missed it completely!

The garden was fairly quiet on our walk, and, arriving at GZ, we had the place to ourselves, so we could search in peace.
It was Mr Domsky who spotted this sneaky, and very well camouflaged Hide.
This one is definitely safe from muggles! Beautiful craftsmanship, and a big smile from us.
A FP added!
Thanks J+J.au!

Super creative find! After sending the geokids on the hunt, GeoDad soon had the cache in hand. TFTC!
Spend a great day and night in Batemans bay yesterday with good friends. After a lazy morning went out to visit the botanic gardens enjoying art and nature and some really nice caches, very recommendable. All caches in the garden are in excellent condition and everyone of them has has something different about them. Before going in and after coming out I also grabbed a few solved puzzles and nearby caches at the highway and the dam. Very crafty!

Another sensational day of caching in the Bateman's bay / Eurobodalla region. This really was a lovely series which brought us to the Eurobodalla Botanical Gardens and following them in order from 1 to 9 led us on a 3km walk through the gardens in a logical order. The gardens are a hidden gem with something for everyone with a kids playground, gift shop, nursery, bushwalks, eucalypt lawn and today - live music!
Loved this one. The geokid found it before me. No black snake for us today, just a sensational cache!
Had the pleasure of being introduced to the CO by Wilbert67 while enjoying lunch at the garden café- a complete fluke / chance encounter! Thankful for all the caches you have placed in this area - Appreciate the effort put in to make them so special. Have a FP for this one!

J+J.au you have hidden some amazing caches and this is just another one! A favourite point from me for this well hidden and constructed cache. TFTC and for bringing me here. I have absolutely enjoyed my walk around these Botanical gardens. The volunteers would have been so gutted when the fires went through. So pleasing to see the trees regrowth.
A very clever hide. It took us a while to find what should have been obvious after the hints given. A favourite point from me. Keep up the good work. TFTC.
On holidays from Ireland and at the coast for Christmas. Visiting the Botanic Gardens today with TSL. Good cache had us fooled for a while. Tftc
The snake was as scared as us! Once he had gone we were able to find the cache very clever cammo TFTC
Found with Ilmari_the_Red on our walk around the Eurobadalla Garden. Spotted this one immediately. Great camo. TFTC!
On the last day at the coast with my New Zealand family (including the Trifolia Argentea team), we return to Canberra via a walk and geocaching tour in the gardens here.
Enjoyed the camouflage on this one.
Thanks for the cache!

Great hiding! Super fun. We were watched by the kangaroos but they promised not to tell anyone TFTC
After following the path and enjoying the gardens, this one was an easy find although the Cammo was slightly misplaced and poppy will update this one to be more sneaky so others can continue to enjoy the hide.

Great day to walk in the garden today so we took the opportunity to check the caches in this series and accompany our grandson.
Most of the caches were fine with some getting a little attention, some new log books and some baggies.
The wall has had some extension work so I will come back and tweet this container later in the week to reinstate the hide concept.

Found with DustyEartha and Lacelot while strolling the Botanic Gardens. This one would have to be a favourite hide of mine.
Thank you
Thank you
Today's main goal was to get the Botanic Garden caches, considering the sheer number of caches plus how cool they sounded! I found the original series years ago but it's good to see it reincarnated and from a different CO perspective. Loved the ingenuity of the series and how well each cache was sequenced (as it made it much easier to navigate the grounds). It's also a beautiful walk with lots of different cool things to see. Thank you heaps J+J.au!
What an awesome hide! So well constructed and blends in seamlessly!

The family are staying in the bay for a few days, so I was keen to see the new bunch of caches that have been put in the Bot Gardens and to see how the gardens are regenerating. The gardens are lush! The growth is very impressive. These were a great set of creative caches. I found all but 2 - 1 due to too many muggles in the playground and the other had a slithery guardian that I did not want to disturb. Wow! That was super tricky. I was in the first place I looked but had decided couldn't be the spot. Brilliant hide. TFTC
An excellent hide, it took geoson and I a bit of time to decide what we were looking for. +1 from us.

In the Eurobodalla area visiting from Sydney and staying at Depot Beach. A tricky devil, this one. And we think the CO has to have serious connections to the Gardens to be able to place such a cleverly constructed hide. A favourite for us! SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
Mr TiedyeSmileys went straight to the cache on arrival. If only he had tried harder he would have had the cache in hand instead of Mrs TiedyeSmileys fonding it a few minutes later.

Headed to Moruya with fitzy_1965, Death Killer and my_name_jeff_1 for a weekend of caching.
With what turned out to be perfect weather, we had a great day caching as Capital Crunchers with albida33, Sol de Lune, Smittengranny, Joolay, kitty katch, barb2e & cosmonaut97 (plus a couple of muggles).
All caches were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned.

With ACT residents no being able to travel to an area around the capital including the coast, it was time to plan a trip. There was a good sized group where we were going to base in Moruya for three days. I traveled with Sol de Lune and Smitten Granny. Others were Cosmonaut97, Kitty Katch, Joolay, Barb2e, fitzy_1965 & MinnieK. Most logs were signed Kapital Krunchers. We had a great weekend of lots of caching in fantastic weather. The first day we met up with others at the botanic garden before caching through the coastal region north of Moruya. We even attempted some first finds in the afternoon, but were beaten by Tankengine who seems always to get the jump on them. The day ended with Dinner at the golf club with Tankengine, Dty73 & Youban.
We had a nice walk around the gardens after checking in at the visitors centre. A few very creative caches. We even managed to work out the GZ for the final of the series.
Thanks for the cache J+J.au

An invasion by a group of ACT cachers to Moruya area and this series was our fist walk for the day. Once all through the Covid entrance test, we set off, finding all the caches as we went. No real issues with any of the find, with the log usual signed as Capital Crunchers.
This was nicely put together hide. Great to see the effort that has gone into it.
Thanks for showing us the area J+J.au. Fav point for this one.

25,144. Found with minniek and a group of Canberra Cachers heading down to the Moruya region for a weekend of fun caching.
With travel for caching an option again, a group of cachers from the Canberra and Goulburn region - known as Capital Crunchers or CC in logs - planned a trip to Moruya for what turned out to be a beautiful sunny weekend with many memorable caches and moments. We were also rewarded with a bunch of new caches being published while we were there - cool ! My thanks to my caching companions and all the cache COs for a very entertaining and enjoyable weekend. Bring on the next one !
This was a great walk around the Gardens with some really good hides. Log signed, cache replaced as found, then we continued on our way.
Thanks J+J.au !!

I am on my way down to the coast for a weekend of caching with a great mob from Canberra. My apologies for generic logs but today we found 60 caches and are now all sitting around chatting.
It was a challenging but incredibly successful day. Huge thanks to all the COS for the placement and maintenance of these caches. All logs were signed either with individual names or as Capital Crunchers.

In town ahead of a SES exercise over the weekend, had a few spare hours this morning to tick off a refreshed game board around the gardens. Co-ords adamantly settling on open grass and, as some logs said co-ords were spot on, I continued to ignore my gut instinct and familiarity with some of the CO’s work, to check something suspicious more closely. Quick call to a PAF and that suspicion was confirmed. Nice hide!
It took a moment to focus on this, as my coordinates were out on the grass. Very well made. A favourite tick. Cache and log are good. TFTC J+J.au.
Was taken to the local event to cheer me up, and after was told we were doing a cache walk...... Great event and good hides....
Found while visiting the area. Beautiful day here today. This place has bounced back well after the bushfire. Thanku for the cache
Last full day on the South Coast and kids were taken to Mogo Zoo by their ‘auntie’ so geowife and I had a few hours to spare. I had looked at the map and this series looked to fit the bill- a botanic gardens with walks to keep us both amused and a few caches. Must have been scary here in the fires but everything seems to be recovering. Gave a nice big Donation at the end as any help they can get to get things going will be a help.
This was so well done even if I spotted immediately (coordinates spot on). A favourite for a well constructed cache.

Took a trip to Batemans Bay with 154Crows. We found a variety of interesting caches hidden by J+J.au along the Princes Highway and Botanical Gardens. Thanks for the day outdoors.
Spotted this one from several metres away. Waited out some muggles walking through this section of the gardens. TFTC

Met up with Muppet95 bright and early for a day down the coast to find a good variety of caches that included several types, an event, and no dnf's on the day. Since the event was held at the Euroballa Regional Botanic Gardens doing this series was automatically included in our day. And I must say it is a very nice series that nobody should pass up. No. 4 is nicely crafted but we had to wait for muggles to pass before we'd risk detection. TFTC.
