#22947 @1530In NZ / Dunedin to attend Geo Toroa. Today was focused on the peninsular, collecting challenge caches and other cache types. I solved the puzzle over lunch today. Cache easily found. TFTC.
Mum and I headed out this way today to tick off some caches, stupidly forgot there was no reception. My geocaching map was already loaded so I could still track my location - but we had to get each one without any hints - which made it all the more fun! No DNFs.. surprisingly!Solved this just last night, no problems at GZ. TFTC!
This was a fun puzzle and the first of it's type we have done. Came out to the Pyramids today and did the caches on route to find our way here. The main goal was finding the D5T4 cache we had qualified for and all other were a bonus. Thanks for this cache Natalie247.
A nice quick solve a while ago, and a quick find today. All in good order. Thanks for placing your cache.
Ms_KR and I are heading to Invercargill for a tramping club 75th jubilee, so we left a bit early in hope that the weather would be fine, so we could get a bit of caching in. So far it has been good, fingers crossed for the rest of the time away.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches.

TFTC; I’d not solved this when I found the other caches in this area on a family walk a few weeks ago. Remedied that today after collecting 3 other caches on a walk nearby. I had trouble closing the container. It’s pretty rusty and so didn’t want to damage it by forcing it. I think it’s closed enough to keep the rain out though.
We watched the video a few times to gather the answers, and although the coordinates were good, took a wee while to locate the cache, as we were unsure the hiding location was as described in the hint. Surprisingly there was a little water in the container. TFTC
Came out here for a challenge cache as the tide was due to be low. Left myself enough time to climb the pyramid and complete the loop track as well as finding several (ok all) the caches along the way.
I first came here when I was 21 on a sort of date with the lovely lady who is now my wife.

A quick mission today before I have to head to my training so a early morning start to get my morning training run in and nab a few caches it's a bit on the cool side but I'm not going g to let that slow me down ,well expect my finder trying g to get the logs signed .
Now on with my run as the clock is ticking.
Had this one on my solved list for awhile so great to sing it off . Thanks for a nice morning before the sitting in a training room for the rest of the day
Getting out and about in to the out doors is my happy place so any excuse to go caching.
Life is short. Live one foot step at a time.Never say" I'm gonna "- Just do it!!

Out testing my new pushbike. It took a few viewings of the video before I had all the answers sorted. This cache was a nice reward after all the effort into cycling here. Now the homeward journey. thanks Natalie for this series.
Found with eve07 & MacBayMeri after the nearby Event - thanks for letting me tag along, team.
A lovely day out exploring the nearby landscape - great company & weather.

Knowing that I'd be out here today for a caching event, I worked out this puzzle the night before. Had to have a couple of goes at working it out, as I hadn't read some of the questions carefully enough, but soon enough I got the green tick and I was good to go. Soon spotted this one (there was a little bit of geotrail towards it) - nice big ammo container - and signed the log. TFTC.
Out and about with way for KJR's event. I was on a mission to get the points needed for Reach the Peak. Lovely morning for a wonder. Number 7 for the day. TFTC Natalie247

It is strongly recommend that whilst we go for a walk for exercise, we need to take care on shared surfaces and geocaching should not be done at this time; https://wiki.groundspeak.com/display/GEO/New+Zealand
To remove temptation, I am disabling this cache and ask kindly that you do not find this cache during lockdown.
Remember there is more than physically finding a cache, there are plenty of puzzle caches you can do at home. Or if you live near a multi you can walk the trail and save the find for another day. For more info or connect with wider community see Geocaching New Zealand on Facebook.

Found alongside Hevic and our local enlightened muggle friend. I solved this puzzle last night after realising it was in the area we were planning to walk in. I had everything correct early on but kept getting red ticks from the checker thanks to not reading the question properly - that is, not doing my division properly. I appreciated the container here, it was a good way to show our friend the variety of caches that are placed out there in the world. I'm enjoying this series and the associated puzzles. Cheers!
A short rehabilitation bike ride from Portobello this morning. Fourth stop of 6 - this corner of the peninsula has suddenly turned into a power trail! Enjoyed the escape room video, although some of the answers took several runs to find. Lovely to find an ammo can, plus such fun rummaging through the themed logbook and objects. A bit of thought went into this series! The gauntlet also makes a good wrist splint for occupational overuse syndrome... must go and buy one. Then a quick bike loop around past the Rosette before we head back.
I was too chicken to try on the gauntlet, who knows where I could have ended up? And there were more geocaches to grab before the day was over, anway. It's always interesting in this area, and good to have another reason to return. Found with Debsnz. Thanks Natalie.
This is the first in the Infinity series that I have found so it was great to have hit the jackpot by finding the gauntlet so quickly. We avoided putting the gauntlet on but we'll now need to look for the other Infinity caches so we can claim the set. Found with Spoonz2
Out and about with BCD and after completing my main mission at Papanui Inlet nearby we headed over to Okia Reserve and one of my favourite places. Very happy to have a smiley here and I love these containers!! Now only one more to go out here (at this stage) but will save that for another day TFTC
Down in dunnas for the weekend ...on a long overdue caching mission around the city with kjr as my guide.....
Little bit of caching cunning to get our hands on this one...well k was very happy with herself to make the find..tftc

Unlike wilbywarrior, no worries with the weather for Napoleon_Solo and me. Lovely afternoon. TFTC.
(FTF) #63 @ 14:50. Today was supposed to be the first day of non-caching activity after completing a year long streak but there was a FTF available out there...
After finding the escape path I headed out and there seemed to be dark forces following me... The temperature dropped and the sky was grey - I believe Thanos was hot on my tail in pursuit of the Infinity Gauntlet. I used the geomobile as far as I could and donned on a protective layer and headed in search of the alternative set of stones. Within 100m of my goal the first fissures in the atmosphere appeared so I made haste. I followed the clues and soon had located the Gauntlet and not too soon either as the dark presence was almost upon me. The power of the stones saved me and the darkness evaporated so my protective layer was no longer needed! Elated, I made my way back to the geomobile with a smiley on my face.
Thanks for the cache and thanks for a fun series!
