Out and about but failed tounearth this one. We had a detailed search, but no smlie today.
Dnf,
Found something that looked like it may have held a log, however it was a lot bigger than what I would consider a micro cache.

Great Northern escape 2022 Day 115. Rockhampton Day 1. I headed south and west to reach a few caches today. I had my most effective time around Gracemere. I then visited the southern suburbs of Rockhampton, with a fun walk around the Botanic Gardens. I had to venture over the river for the last for the day to reach the number I was hoping for.
I have been to these gardens a few times for caches, not always with success. Today I was happy to try one I had not been to before and when I stretched out to the right side, I was happy to feel the tiny cache, so I could then sign it.
Thanks for the cache annalukeoli

TFTC. Took too long to find especially since my gps had me in circles. Once I put it away I used my instincts and found it. First of this type of find. We are staying in the van in the park and visiting from the Hunter Valley in NSW. Lovely park.
The Keating and Tempone girls found this one, but tricky to start but worked gps fixed itself and worked out the hint
Hello, can confirm actual cache is there. It took a little searching under some gunk to get the container but it is there.
On a quick trip up to Townsville for a non-caching event. Rude ain’t it.
I may have picked this park, Husband wanted to go to a park without a geocache, I wasn’t having it. We stopped at this park to have an early dinner and the doggos had dinner alfresco as well. B1 was impressed by the outdoor dinner, B2 was not impressed.
Maintenance is required as logbook is full, scrubbed green next to another soul.
Thank you annalukeoli for placing this cache for me to enjoy!

Double DNF!!! Idk where it is and messaged owner but hasn't written back yet. Will come back another day.
Came up to get out of the cold Victorian weather and to do a road trip from Rockhampton to Townsville with the family checking out the sights and grabbing random caches along the way.
Signed log.
Thanks for the cache.

Visiting my big brother in Rocky
I didn't want to touch this one ..a clever hide ... But my big brother (who I was teaching about geocaching) spotted it first!!
We did a lovely walk around the garden while we were there.

Unfortunately Diane had to work today but it's a necessary evil if we want to keep the holiday going and she didn't want me under her feet so there was one way to solve that and that was to go out and find a few caches.
We pulled up here and the drizzling rain had returned but this time I was quite thankful as it was also keeping a lot of the muggles away. I can imagine this would be a very busy park at times.
I really enjoyed the walk through here and was impressed that the windmill is actually working and pumping water.
The cache itself happily turned out to be a nice quick find. To save room in the log we signed as TC.
Many thanks annalukeoli for a cache hide of a type we haven't seen for quite awhile.

Heh that’s a good one. Saw it when I first arrived but totally forgot these hides!!!!
The Mega has been and gone and we had so much fun meeting with friends. Now we've turned south towards home but we're still finding caches and great camps along the way.
Big thanks to annalukeoli for placing this cache.

Rockhampton, for 2 nights camping at Kershaw gardens
After setting up camp we did a few of the local cachers that were close to where we were camped
This was a good way to tour the are and we found a good variety of caches some in places we had not visited before.
Thankyou annalukeoli for placing this cache.

Cracked head open on windmill before able to find. Was forced to hospital instead. 0 stars. Would not recommend
Thankfully the park was muggle free and I found this in the first place I looked.
11.57am
Second day of our trip to Townsville for the MEGA and we are heading to Mackay. Had to stop here to grab this one for some challenge or reason.
Parked nearby and at GZ searched all around until finally found it tucked away. SL then returned as found.
Found on 10 April 2022. TFTC, annalukeoli.

On the way to Mackay for the night as we venture north to Townsville for the Mega, with Team de Ville (Imbunda, Peppa, and patrol14). This had us searching the newly redesigned and repaired Kersew Gardens. Will finally found the right spot. Log signed as Team de Ville. TFTC.
Day 2 of the Tour De Ville and we’re back on the road heading North…
Again with TMZ59 at the wheel of the Habanero Sport, Patrol14 up the front, and Imbunda and I in the back fighting over the arm rest…
We have a list of caches, that I spent at least two hours creating, to collect on the way up… the list lasted exactly one cache yesterday before we were getting “other” caches…
Geepers had all of us over there, but the pics suggested that we should be at the large dominating feature here…. And even though we knew exactly what we were looking for it still took longer than perhaps it should have…
Tftc Log signed TDV - Tour De Ville….

Day 2 of our trip to Townsville for the MEGA Event and travelling with TMZ59, Patrol14 and Peppa.
Being a bit selective today as we are on a time limit to attend an Event in Sarina and adding a few letterboxes and other caches to our list. Found and log signed before replacing as found. TFTC

# 2379 - on a trip from Brissie to FNQ. We stayed overnight at the, so kindly by council provided, free camp at Kershaw Gardens. Went for a bike ride and found a cache.
Agree with the 'long arm's length', but the 'down low' wasn't so very much 'down low'.... If it hadn't been for the spoiler photo I would still have been crawling on the ground...
Perhaps someone has moved it upwards a bit?
Anyway, TFTC

Annual Christmas pilgramage for the family. Was destined for Dubbo but for the third time we've tried, COVID-19 has prevented border crossings or made them too unpredictable. But hey, there's always someone else in a worse predicament then our family holiday being shifted around.
Ended up driving the Australian Country Way from Toowoomba to Rocky, then down the coast back home again. Not a drop of rain until we ran into Ex TC Seth, who apparently didn't socialise well. Got stuck in Tiaro for the night, before making the made dash back to Gympie once the way was cleared. We didn't get many caches on the way, there was too many to justify stopping at every single one, but we did find ones at cool spots we were stopping at anyway
GPS lead me to the wrong spot (too hot for it to even work) and eventually found it. I even knew what I was searching for just couldn't lay eyes on it. Made an absolute hack job of stamping it but didnt grab a pen out of the car.
All the logs are in good condition unless specified otherwise, and they were all found with ease unless specified otherwise.
Cache logs are either stamped, signed with Rogersclan13 or just RC13 for space. Thanks for the cache and thank you for breaking the drive up **annalukeoli**

very creative, tho probably spent more time looking for the lid after dropping it
Gave this one a hell of a go in the midday sun. No salami even with the spoiler pic GPS had me walking to and fro looking like a mad woman I suspect
Stopping here in Rockhampton before heading to Yeppoon, a cache find was in order. After a bit of searching one of the semi muggle friends discovered the clever find hiding away, first time seeing this type in the field! Many thanks for the cache!
A nice, sneaky hide that Krcamber spotted. We had to be very stealthy here and krcamber brought out her acting skills!
Thanks for the cache, annalukeoli

Headed to GZ with Swearah and needing a bit of stealth, we were able to make the grab and replace. A great spot, TFTC!
After reading a few previous logs, we had a good idea of what we were looking for as we'd seen a similar container in Victoria a few years ago.

No muggler in their right mind will ever touch this "camouflaged" cache. First one of these we have ever seen. Thanks for a great Cache. Favourite.
Hahaha! Nice one! Found a fsllen branch of leaves to stick in the bike helmet to stop the maggie bombing me. 3rd time geocaching today. They particularly don't like bikes.
Last cache in Rocky for me before heading south on the train tonight.
Thanks for the caching!

Thanks for the cache .... we found the cache easy enough but peak breeding season for Australian magpies is between August and November and we are currently in September. Swooping by the local pies kept us on our toes.
Haha. A clever little hide! Lots of muggles around, but still managed to find it. TFTC!
