As this one has gone missing a few times, and I just can't maintain it properly I'll open up the space for someone else to place a cache here.
Very happy to have visited this place, unfortunately the cache was nowhere to be find
Looked around all the NZ Christmas trees but unfortunately could not find it
Great find. Had to wait for a couple of muggles to live on before manning the cache but all good. TFTC
1.40pm. At last I got back to this which was MIA on my first visit. Spotted it in seconds. Thank you for replacing this.
Thank you. David.
Thank you. David.
Had to check a few trees but finally found it. Our GPS sent us to the wrong Christmas tree. Lovely day to explore the area. TFTC
Easy find whilst camping here today. Picturesque place but oh so windy today - tftc
I have looked for this one previously. Second time lucky. Thanks for replacing the cache.
I replaced this hide with CO permission at the posted coordinates and as per hint (sea side of the tree).
Thanks for bringing me here to Port Albert. Such a picturesque location!
Summer time must be busy at the wharf
TFTC!

Two of us had a good search to no avail. This one may have gone. I'll keep a watch on it. A nice place to visit.
Thank you. David.
Thank you. David.
Lovely, lovely wharf to walk out on. Very pretty area with such a quick find thx.
As we arrived to camp, I decided we would grab it the next day. Not a good idea, the next day was really rainy.
Keen to find the new cache here by the Famous Port Albert Wharf .
Always like any excuse to visit here as my ancestors ( Isbister family ) were some of the Albertlanders who settled in Matakohe.
Thanks for placing...easy find.
Quite a few folk staying here in fancy camper vans.

Took a drive with kids today. Just missed the ftf. A nice place. Cache quickly located. Signed and replaced. Tftc
The elder Future Finder and I are heading North for a family Boxing day event and we decided to take State Highway 16 for a change and because this cache page still didn't have any logs on it when we left Auckland early this morning. I recall visiting this spot a few years back as part of the CO's Albertlander's multi (that was an excellent multi). Anyway, we parked up near GZ and I got to searching. The GPSr had me a little further along and I didn't find the well covered hide until the third specimen was inspected. The blank log sheet was confirmation of the first to find (FTF). I collected the trackables. Cheers for the cache placement!
