Logs
It appears this geocache is only found when a throwdown is placed, and otherwise goes missing frequently.Considering the CO is locked, and with direction from HQ, this geocache is archived.
Just as we were digging around in a potential hiding spot a caching fairy descended with the cache in hand and placed it neatly nearby so we could make the find. Thanks CommunistOnions
DNF it was a little sad not to find it, when someone had found it yesterday.
Hopefully on to better finds
Hopefully on to better finds
Thanks to Sam the caretaker for replacing it while we were there as it had gone missing.
I rode a few kilometres on my bike to get to this cache. It was about 10 metres off the coordinates though so you better look thoroughly for it. There was a log right in the coordinate that would have been perfect to hold a geocache but instead it was in a completely different place. I would say though, that it is less under wood and more under bark.
By the way I took 2x Australian 2 cents and left a generous amount of foreign coins in order to keep the cache alive.
I left.
Some UAE coin
A Hungarian 5 Forint
A Hungarian 10 Forint
A Hungarian 20 Forint
A Hungarian 50 Forint
And a Hungarian 100 Forint.
The geocache was more full of plastic than coins though.

Thanks heaps for local cacher who is taking care of this 1.
It maybe a few more meters east of where GPS shows but it is definitely under wood.

Only had time for a real quick look because the warehouse workers on the other side of the fence were staring. I’ll try again another time outside business hours
Wasn’t able to find this cache today, even after looking at the hint and images for help! We couldn’t find the piece of wood mentioned. Hopefully better luck next time.
Found this morning.
The log book was not in the container but nearby. Signed log, replacing back inside cache.
Thanks for this find.

Thanks for this find.
TUFTC. Saw this on the way home and decided to get it with my geostepdad. I think I might need to get that duck tape for a cache I am putting together. Have a safe and happy new year everyone.
Nice quick find for the Jester-kiwi and the Princess. We really do have our eyes in today. TFTC Cheers +
I parked in the nearby side street and wandered in for a quick find in the obvious spot. Thanks for the cache
After a nearby ftf, I decided to grab this cache. There was no one around here today so it was an easy walk around to find the cache. I found it only by using the hint as I found myself eight plus metres away from the hide. I open the cache to find a nice fresh log book. I signed and replaced as found and started my drive back. Thank you for the cache and maintaining this one.
*PRIZE*
If you place coins inside this cache, I will add the amount of coins you added into the cache and also some vouchers. This deal will expire on the 12th of May so be quick!!

Ok so, we got lost but we found it and that was great! The hiding place was very well thought out and we had fund digging around for it. 10/10 would recommend searching for this geocache
My youngest and I came for a drive to the dark side this evening to pick up my new ride to work; a shiny new bike Since we were so close by, we made the short trip to a parking spot near the cache and fired up our torches. A minute later we had located the container and were signing the log. Took nothing and left nothing. Tftc CommunistOnions
Forgot to say, but checked cache long ago and added plenty more coins, some swag actually worth something and vouchers which were hard to get. There is a valuable coin inside. Cache does not get much traffic from geocachers so enjoy it before it becomes too popular. I do not know why geocachers find the nearby micro geocaches but never find mine. Looks like this one is invisible to geocachers?
Checked today. All good but keep in mind that there is a sketch book for drawing (I got this idea from several other caches) and a logbook. Those two things are different and should not be thought of as the same. If you want to draw, bring the proper equipment. I would appreciate if somebody leaves their drawing equipment in the cache and replace the small sketch book (the Spriax one) with a larger one.
Took one coin I have no clue what it is. And swapped 3 NZ twenty cent coins. Thankyou heaps
Cache was found by Ghostgums and the log signed for all.
Found while out and about with Gunnie69 and NurseyJulie who were trying to get their numbers just right to make the Dayboro Mega a special milestone find. The plan was to tackle some of the labs and other types from Rochedale down to Springwood. It was a nice and some great caching! [D]

Out for the day with Gunnie69 and GhostGums. We parked in the carpark nearby and started the search. There was a couple of possible spots here and GhostGums made the find. TFTC
Cool. Proper treasure chest here. Best cache in series and great final cache to end with a bang! 20 to 30 coins inside. Also cool swag.
I snuck away from the staff at lunch to grab this cache. If they knew I was out doing crazy caching stuff they would probably all resign. So I set up all the invasive cameras in the office so I could keep an eye on them with some app on my phone that I never worked how to download or use.
I felt like I had been to this exact spot before but couldn’t be sure. The amount of busted TV and terrible sci-fi movies I’ve watched since the start of the Coronavirus has jumbled my brain a bit. Even the good sci-fi movies hurt my brain.
After signing the log and dropping off some coins, I returned to the office. When I turned on the laptop the screen was all blurry. That was when I realised I had lost my reading glasses and so had to make another trip back to make sure the cache hadn’t formed an attraction and was missing me. tftc
The coins I dropped off were:
Argentinian 5 peso
Austrian 10 Groschen
Belgian 1, 5, 20 and 50 francs
German 1, 5, 10 and 50 pfennigs
German 1 and 5 Deutsche Marks

I have been to this park for a number of caches over the years.
Today, I had plenty of parking spots and a short stroll to the cache.
The cache hide was quickly spotted although the GPS was pointing on the other side of the fence.
A nice size hide that deserves a favourite point. I didn't have any coins to trade.

Cannot thank Sambuccasam enough for being the first person to leave currency in this cache and for cleaning up the cache contents. Sambuccasam gets the FTT (First to trade).
Nice and close, just ducked down to this cache and gave it a clean up and put some foreign coins in to keep to the theme of the cache. First I checked to make sure none are valuable tftc C.Onions.
Please do not find the cache as it will not be there. The cache owner is going to bring it home tomorrow and make some changes to the cache. A note will be posted when the changes are completed. One of the changes will be that there will be more coins inside to create more exchanging opportunities. In the meantime, I recommend you to look for the other caches in this series. The other caches are in Sunnybank Hills and Calamvale. Thank you for your cooperation.
A pathway behind the football club I never would’ve known existed if not for this cache.
Cloudy afternoon so the GPS was a bit bouncy. Managed to spot it from a distance with a lucky angle. Nice spot to look down into the yard from up here.

There still has not been any coin swaps in this geocache. Can someone if not a kind cacher please do the first swap? Seems like nobody has enthusiasm in any of these caches. Looks like the cache cannot follow its goals.

Was contemplating to go or not to go for this one, in the end the first-to-find racer in me won and I headed out.
Sure I have found an earlier cache in this very location, this made the search very quick.
Happy to be first on this one
Thank you for hiding
