Happy Palindromic Day!

Fingers crossed the weather holds out for the event this arvo. If it is inclement, we will find a new location in the park that has shelter.

So everyone has a chance for the FTF prize, you will need to have access to the app "KAHOOT!" to play on your phone or device at the event. You can download it for free from your regular appstore. You will need it to play the PALINDROMIC TRIVIA game at the event.

Don't forget to drop any TBs you have too.

I agree that I too like Palindromes. I even made a puzzle about them and I know many other cachers have as well. I'm happy to attend this event and meet some cachers as a nice start to the weekend.

And so it happened that I'm still at work and would be "rather late" to the party. Sigh!

Had time late in the day to head to an event, so decided while I was there to target a traditional or two first. Well, after traffic it was one.

Then the event which had a good attendance and some fun activities.

Got there early for my TB drop.
But still plenty of attendees when I got there.

Some great geochat took up a good hour, but then...
Interesting quiz. Hit one wrong button, talked myself out of another answer, and then got two others stone cold wrong! Oh well.

Finally time to head home.
Top job Brew. Would give it a favourite if I could.

Had a great time catching up with everyone and couldn’t believe coming from behind to beat The Bebes in the Kahoot! Quiz. Thanks to Brewmaker for organising another great event.

Arrived early so I could also duck away early to tangle with the traffic. My first event back since COVID messed up the event schedule. Great to see many familiar faces, and a new one too. Thanks for hosting Brew, sorry I missed the Kahoot (probably for the best!).

Being stuck in the tunnel for an hour nearly but a dampener on this event for me but arriving to a bunch of smiling faces was the tonic that I needed - even though I arrived an hour late.

Teamed up with Jackscruff and we temporarily made it onto the Kahoot podium with a few palindromic scores along the way.

Of course had to track down a few solved puzzles afterwards with PPE. Thankfully got a call from Brew to remind us that the gates close at sunset.

This is a fantastic park, a great place to hold an event, and if it wasn't for one of my ancestors there might be no park here. I often come to Centennial Park, it just takes 15 minutes to get here from across the harbour.

Now like most of us I think the cost of tolls on Sydney roads is far too expensive but today I guess I got value for money with 35 minutes in the Harbour Tunnel, not to mention the other tunnels. So it took 2 hours to get here. Lucky I was aiming to be here early!!

As always it was a fun event run by Brewmaker. The weather was kind and we had plenty of time to chat to our geocaching friends before the palindromic game. Thanks Crash for having me as a partner!
I thought the game was lots of fun and laughs and the teacher was encouraging and generally kept the class in order. I hadn't seen a game like that before.
Dropped off a few trackables and collected a couple to come on their travels with me.
