Checked on this beat. The stump at GZ is no longer a stump. A new home for the cache has been found next door in the fork of a tree, covered with bark. With your back to the creek, the tree you seek is to the left of the former stump. Spoiler pic attached.
Today, I was joined by Seffnjarah on a caching run around the northside, collecting interesting puzzles and the odd higher DT cache here and there. After relocating the car following the last group of caches, we hit the bike path again for another loop to collect this next group of these puzzles. This was quite a pleasant shady walk in the hottest part pf the afternoon. At the appropriate point, we headed off track and made the easy find. Many thanks Willis007Pete#8,075
We solved these drum puzzles a while ago, so today we are on the hunt to find a few to get our geo art back in place. Geocaching today with Sniggypop and Legend and taking the geodoggy along for some exercise. It's a glorious day to be out and about. It was just laying on the ground. We have returned it to where we thought it should be using the hint. Third find for the day.
Out with Legend and ILTW for a few cache finds. TFTC. Found on the ground. Place back in a suitable spot. Very close. Hoping its the right spot.
A quick find between the rain today - I sat in the car for ten minutes before a gap appeared! TFTC.
Spending the day around north Brisbane targetting mostly the Drumbeats but also some nearby caches and ALs. Thanks to the COs for placing and maintaining these caches for our enjoyment.
Watawieh from Norfolk Island South Pacific. There were 3 members of our band today - joojoo57, Richmond Lad & endeavour3. We have teamed up to bang out some finds on a few Drum Beats. Logs may have been signed E3 to save space. TFTC Found & logged using Cachly for iOS
Out and about caching today on Brisbane northside - caching with joojoo57,endeavour 3 and myself, Richmond Lad. Log book signed as jj57, E3 and RL to save space. Found cache and signed log. TFTC
After an early morning start at an event to meet some local cachers including the CO of this series with alphag_25, we decided to try and complete the Drum Beat art series which we had solved some time ago. Helping to fill some DT grid spaces as well. TFTC
These puzzles were solved a while ago, finally able to get a few more signed while down on holidays. Tftc slOn a caching holiday from Mackay. In the search of old caches and ones to fill DT grid spaces. Found TFTC SL Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment.
Caching in a different location today. Thanks for hiding and adding to our enjoyment of the area. Good to be getting more of your series Willis007*Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Find number 6 for the day in the series. Watch out for the black ants on this one! We got a nasty shock when picking this one up. Were also having to double up on bug spray for this day out along the creek
Thanks Willis007, another easy find, Im loving the area in which we find ourselves today, unfortunately the mozzies are like WWII Stukas making continual bombing runs while others are draining our blood. The bushmans isnt as effective as it usually is PS- cache in good condition.
Muggle65 and l decided to empty our solved puzzle box a bit today. We hardly ever seem to go for the ones closer to home, so today was the day. This one is in great condition. Thank you for the fun
Lovely homes in this area with a beautiful outlook to the park across the road. Made our way to GZ where the cache was found safe and dry. TFTC
Needing to find a puzzle cache today (on a Saturday) for a challenge that I noticed I was very close to qualifying, I raced out to collect at least one of the three solved caches I had along this path. Luckily I found all three. A quick find here as it was better suited to my stature. TFTC
I had 3 Drum puzzles on my target list for my ride to work this morning. Found 3 reasonably quickly. I’ve enjoyed slowly solving and finding this series. TFTC
Spending some Tuesday Arvo Caching Time finding some more Drum Beats. I struggled to find my way to solving this one, looking here there and everywhere. Eventually I contacted the CO who was super helpful (as always) and shortly after the puzzle was solved.
At GZ, the cache was found by Shazzar66 as per the hint. TFTC and for adding to my caching knowledge Willis007

This year Wednesdays are made for midweek fun! With the weather forecast warning today was supposed to be wet, I didn’t make any exciting plans, expecting to have a mostly
Inside day including washing to be hung under the house. However as the day went on it appeared this was not going to be the case. And with the washing hung out, I decided I should head out for a bit, hoping to do a brief spot of maintenance and quickly pop to the shops, then grab a few local caches.
The Drum Beat series have sat in my solved ever since they came out, and because they were nice and close to home, I kept them for those “emergency days” or days where I just felt like grabbing one when on a walk. However with a change in situation for this year, I realised I would not be going for those afternoon strolls here anymore, and perhaps I should start to actually clear some of them from the map.
I do love the peacefulness along cabbage tree creek midweek, and despite the heat and humidity today, was rather enjoying my walk along here, popping in at spots to view the prettiness of the creek at times.
Found easily here today, with no muggles around to cause any issues.
Thanks for the cache Willis007.

Another in the drum notes series that took a fair bit of looking for patterns but once the first one was solved, others didn’t take too long. Hint helped here as coordinates bouncing a bit. Found with sausage3. Tftc
A bit soggy on some of the walk ins but managed to keep my feet dry. For now.
All good here

Out on a maintenance run today. This one didn't survive the flood. New one put in place and ready to rock
Logging today with the permission of the CO. Attempted this early morning only to find the obvious spot devoid of what should have been a straight forward find. Not surprising given the recent weather events.
Nice little spot.
Nice little spot.
I turned off the bike way and flew into GZ, after a short search I found the cache. The log was damp and mouldy but I could still add my name. Tftc WIllis007
Continuing on my hunt for the day and I had 3 caches close together so I parked in a convenient location to walk to the 3. This was the closest and I headed past a few muggles and disappeared into the bushes for a quick find.

Im still slowly working my way through this series and today my geo dog Roxy and i had just been to nudgee beach and then decided to pick up this smiley. At GZ the hint helped for a quick find . Thanks for taking Roxy and i here and for another fun puzzle
As we foraged our way thru to this one, Gunnie took one side, I the other - I spotted this one again and soon had the log signed and returned. TFTC
A nice quick puzzle to work through and thankfullly, a little drier at GZ than it probably was last week or so. NurseyJulie and I approached and disappeared into the greenery, then split up and got stuck into the hunt. NJ was a formidable hunting opponent this morning and continued to come up with the goods. This one was no different.
NJ did the logging honours and tucked the cache back, before we took to the path for the next in this area.
Cheers Willis007.

With the sound of running water I knew I should be in a position to cross the creek somewhere around here to claim the prize from my angle of attack. Thanks Willis007 for the fun and games involved in this Art

Had some time to spare this morning but needed to hang around this area so what to do? Well, not one to beat my own drum (so to speak) but having these puzzles solved and on my radar made for an excellent morning's entertainment.
Thanks Willis007 for entertaining me at this location.

Really enjoyed walking along here collecting what we needed to complete Krcambers Drum series, another nice quick find here. TFTC
Collecting some drum beats today with reezielou. Another great puzzle which needed some outside of the box thinking to solve!
A nice quick find at GZ by reezielou.
Thanks for the puzzle and the cache Willis007!

What a lovely little area this is. Filled with muggle walkers, runners and the pups! Slipped quietly into the bushes, took a minute to match the hint and signed the log and then slunk out again to join society. Definitely a fitness place!
Back out again finding the last of the drums just with swearah and jodsta83 today super excited that we will finally have them all done and have a complete drum in yellow.
Jodsta83 found this one. She also chased the bush turkey away for me.
Thanks for the cache

A beautiful Sunday out with the ladies *cough* getting some drums today, and we’re having a blast.
Jody climbed the cargo net, Stephyy found the cache, and I… watched!
Such a great series and another one down. We’re on target to complete our drum session today - woot!

Out and about for our 3rd day drumming around the Northside with swearah and stephyy. Stephyy came up with a nice quick find at GZ and we are off to the next . Tftc and great array of puzzles Willis007
Today I was about to be out and about sans child so I decided to knock of a few more drum beat puzzles better done without a toddler to help. Cool puzzle, haven't seen this particular one before. TFTC
GPS had me out in the open but eventually found the hide concealed amongst the bushes. Thanks for the cache
Out with geofriends (Snickersallan, RoddyC, hatzofff, GS1947 and Imbunda) again today to finish off finding the Drumbeat Series as well as other caches along the way.
Needed a bit of help with the puzzle but soon had coords.
Another quick find. SL then returned as found.

After a quick surveillance tour last week, I decided to really hone in and get all the smiles today.
This is #1 for the day and an easy find.
Container in great condition. Bag and log sheet are slightly damp but still good.
Added my name and replaced as found.
Admired the surrounds for a minute then scurried away for the next find.

Out today with Selva Girls to pick up the last of the Drum Beat. Plenty of walking, a bit of tree climbing and some tree fishing. There were some good hides along the way and some rather sneaky ones.

More lush green space and a few more walkers starting to appear as the afternoon wears on.
Here I walked around and approached GZ from the back which is probably a good idea in preventing the creation of a geotrail. All good inside so TFTC.

As we arrived at GZ, we still had our torch light on, however the light of the sky was starting to shed some colour into our world.
In the distance, two people, under shadow, were taking their dog for a walk. Others were beginning to wake up!
We really enjoyed this puzzle. It was trial and error, and logic that got us there for this one.
Thanks Willis007. We are having such a fun time this morning despite the freezing weather. Coffee is already in the forefront of our mind and we are looking forward to that also.

Out caching with Burdons5 today, we collected a few drums and some others in the area. We enjoyed the scenery around the hides and appreciated lots of green space for the kids to explore. Tftc and the puzzles Willis007
We have now set up camp at the Caboolture showgrounds. We have been joined for a couple of days by pprass.
Today was the 2nd day to finish off the drum series, the puzzles had been completed prior to leaving. home. So much information learnt about drummers & drumming.
This series today we spent about half & half of the time bike riding & by car. The bike riding was by far the most enjoyable.
Thankyou Willis007 for placing this cache.

A team effort to solve all the caches in this series in preparation for burgo78 visiting the big smoke.
Loaded the bikes this morning and set out to log the series by car and bike.
Met some friendly muggles, saw wallabies and a turtle, rode bikes in the mud, and through fast-flowing creeks.
Easy tree climbs and some hard-to-find ones.
Wet feet and shoes all day due to plenty of water in many parks.
The Kedron brook was flowing quickly, would have been an adrenaline-packed paddle today.
Thank you Willis007 for this series and my apologies for the copy-paste logs

As long as I can remember I’ve always had respect for male gymnasts at the olympics. Their upper arm strength on the parallel bars or the Roman rings is far superior to the guys you see pumping weights at the gym, before they admire themselves in the mirror.
Male gymnasts also have my respect for the way they tape down their packages in those tight gymnast shorts. Their bits seem to defy gravity when they are doing somersaults. Every time I do a cartwheel there always seems to be a random testicle smacking me in the face. Sometimes they are even mine.
At the parallel bars near GZ I thought I would see if 30 years of sitting on the couch watching gymnastics had taught me any skills. It hadn’t! tftc

I'm sure there was an easy way to solve this puzzle and I managed to avoid it repeatedly throughout this drum series. So going to first principles, managed to decipher the clefs, crotches and hemidemisemiquavers into something that looked good on the map and the checker liked it too.
This was the third cache collected this morning. By now, the zombies had all retreated into a zombie property which I found out is a type of investment property that has been abandoned by its owner after a foreclosure process begins. Anyways, the zombies were off the street and two wheeler munchkins were moving around like seagulls approaching a bucket of hot chips. Avoiding that carnage, ducked into this enclave, scattering 3 ducks in the process before spying the cache. Thanks for the music lesson Willis007.

Out today to grab a few more of the drum series, with just a few to collect I thought it would be nice to jump on the bike and enjoy a Sunday bike ride. It was very quiet on the bike path this afternoon so I was able to search and find caches with ease. A tree climb and a few tied to a tree, no difficulty with these ones. With logs signed and caches returned as found I was onto the next, nice and relaxing urban caching.
Thanks for the series I enjoyed all these hides and cache types, a very good series, and some deserving favourite points for the series.

Out and about again with Georode to finish off the drum series. This will be our 2nd day on the geo bikes covering just over 40 km's today ( 80km in total over 2 days of cycling from home.)
I have enjoyed the challenge of solving the various puzzles thrown up by Willis007. Most of them i was able to punch my way through by myself, however a few i needed a kick in the right direction.
Today we had the relevant TOTT to collect the harder to reach caches. I feel like i pushed my way through a hundred spider webs whilst crawling in and around the trees and i must have been bitten at least 10 times by the mozzies but i loved it.
Tanks Lisa for a great series and and extra big thanks for putting it so close to my home
Love your work.

I think it’s lovely to have infrastructure like this throughout the suburbs – it really improves the quality of life for people. Even without the geocaches, I would really enjoy cycling along this pathway in the early morning sunshine with my friends.

Out for a Caching Coffee Cycle with LaKedi, IolantheK, DisSister and Mrs Slow Puncture. We had planned a nice little loop to bang a few Drums along the way, check out the local bike paths and bushland and indulge in caffeine and cakes along the way and then do a round of tree fishing to finish off the days activities.
Heading North now on a cycleway which i use on a regular basis on a return loop home after a Coffee at Redcliffe..

Out for a bike ride early this morning with ruzzelz, Slow Puncture, La Kedi and DisSister. We met at Downfall Creek at 7am and spent just over 4 hours riding 17kms, and I gathered 14 smileys
My first look at this one had me scouring the internet before I found an easier way to solve it

Monday. A group meet up at the Downfall Creek Bushland Centre of LaKedi, Ruzzelz, IolantheK, DisSister and Mrs Slow Puncture at 7am - turned out we rode for 5 hours today gathering some of the Drum caches that we targeted. A lovely spot here to place a cache in some nice untouched bush. A quick sign on the log book for our group today.
This was the 4th of 21 caches found on this outing.
Thanks ***Willis007*** for showing us this place

We were entertained at GZ watching a scrub turkey jumping from branch to branch right up to the top of a nearby tree. Never seen one go quite so high up before! TFTC Willis007
Spent a few hours banging on drums after a headbanging session nutting out more of the puzzles. This code wasn't an easy one to find, so I did it the "other" way, and before long had the results I wanted. Took a little while to spot this one up in its perch.

So many solved puzzles calling to us, even in our sleep, that here we are again for Day 3 collecting Drum Beats & smilies.
We haven't had a really good geoart in a while and this one is certainly getting us back in the game!
Kudos to Willis007 for the effort put in.
#11 of 25 caches found today.
Oh, yes, I like the repetition of caches that I find easy to solve but the challenge of the not so easy ones helps keep the grey matter ticking over.
Now if I put that there & slot this in here, here, there & there then change that to ...
So cool & shady along the path and 'Oh so quiet until ...:
Thumbs up from Mrs VC after a quick find while I was enjoying the cool breeze
Made our mark and replaced as found.

Another code that I was able to work out without too much trouble... so while in the area I thought I’d collect this cache...

**FTF** with KerriMG
I saw these come out this morning but mum duties had me ignoring them. I even had to take daughter to Westfield Chermside which was so close to these listings. Once mum duties were over I started working on these and was surprised that so many FTFs were out there. KerriMG asked if we should go for them so why not. Headed here as still looking lonely. At first my map wanted me on one side of the creek but another map said this side. Tried the correct side first and made a quick find to reveal a clean log book. Yippee. Thanks for what looks like a great series.

**FTF** at 6pm. Had been working on the puzzles on & off today & had expected the FTF's to go pretty quickly but seeing as there were still plenty left this afternoon decided it was time to attempt to claim some. Picked up nikid1 & off we went. I'm sure there's a code I should have been using but managed to wrangle some numbers out that the checker liked. Parked at GZ & after a short stroll nikid1 had the cache in hand. Anxiously checked the log & yay it was blank! Signed & returned as found.
Thanks for the puzzle & cache Willis007, I'm looking forward to solving & finding the rest.
