It was great to meet cachers I hadn’t met and catch up with cachers I already knew. Thanks to everyone for coming along. See you at the next event!

After a very quiet 2020 caching-wise we're off to a flying start in 2021. Third event this year - we have some catching up to do!
I headed up north with mudbrick where we met up with some fellow cachers beforehand to find a cache or two before the event.
Things are a little different now - signing in with QR codes etc. - but we're back in the swing of things.
Always great to meet up with the usual suspects as well as new ones, particularly after a rough 2020 from a social perspective.

After finding the cache in the pile of rocks nearby, we headed for this event. Although a little late, it was nice to hear about what others were up to.

Nice to see everyone and meet others for the first time.

I headed over this way to attend my first event for 2021 but not before stopping along the way to check out a couple of windmills.
A morning tea event even if it was still a bit on the chilly side that was well attended.
Great to catch up with everyone and it was nice to meet a couple of new cachers as well.
After going around the circle and introducing our selves it was then time to hatch a plan on where to next.
I teamed up with ahomburg, beckNmonts and Manfred crocodile for a bit of afternoon fun.
But not before having a few pats with the four legged geodogs that came along.

The Bob Dylan song -"The Times They Are a-Changin'" comes to mind around these parts of Melb. In another life, well before geocaching was even born, we lived nearby. We found this cache and tried to comprehend some of the changes as we made our way to this Event.
Thanks to the CO for making sure everyone was introduced to each other.

It was great meeting everyone! Thanks for making my new cache feel welcomed on the geocaching game board! It was nice feeling welcomed in the geocaching community as a (kind of) new player.

I headed to the event in Deer Park, stopping at a new nearby cache, then some more caching with Alansee after the event. I was a nice chance to catch up with a number of cachers that I hadn't seen for some time, as well as meet a few newer cachers that I hadn't met before.
