Approached GZ and thought the cache might be in one place, however the cache was elusive. Upon further examination I saw what I was missing and ventured forth to locate the cache.
Travelling sunset 1st find. Thought it was the obvious until looked further. TFTC
**20,885**Looking a bit dodgy hanging out in the bushes just on dark along with some questionable (albeit free) parking, made for a fun cache find for the Geckoh's. TFTC
Third find of the night in a familiar location - this used to be my doctor and pharmacy not too long ago, when I lived in the area. I'm fairly certain I also found a previous iteration of this cache in the form of a cone... Anyway, a nice easy find here, TFTC!
Nice quick find with the help of the hint.
Thanks for hiding and maintaining.

Our turn around point, no mairangi bay for us.
So here we are looking, but not finding, but gorby reached a little further and found the cache.
Fun find thanks

Harder than it needed to be, just did not reach far enough.
Fun find with gorby (who did the reaching) and rustynz

I think this ended up being my last cache for today, while my crew had 1 more to go. So nice to be out on our e-bikes me, rusty and Rebel, but alas, we have to turn back now, but we aim to head to the C.O's extra cool cache along this road Y2K? In G-2 land, I insisted these guys should visit it on our way home.
Oh yea.. this cache was tricky but only because we didn't reach far enough in, but we got there in the end, and rusty signed us in. Thanks G.

Well well thought I was a useless geo cacher here until I was walking away and spotted the object for a super quick find then. Found gps out slightly so was looking in the wrong place.
Got there in the end phew!!
Thanks for placing the cache G-2.
Find number 4683.
Log signed b&p.

Na even zoeken en weer goed voelen toch gevonden. kinderen waren kerstliedjes aan het zingen
Spotted what we were looking for and soon had the cache in our hands. Plenty of traffic about so fingers crossed we were stealthy enough.
Had a feeling of where this cache was gonna be and bingo! Guessed it right.
Nice and easy find here. TFTC.

Parked up not far away and walked to GZ where we made a quick find at the obvious spot. TFTC
Nice quick find, but stealth needed due to the passing traffic and that’s it’s next to a day care centre. TFTC
Found it.
My children Makayla and Kaden found it.
Kayla couldn't but Kaden knew how to properly search for a cache!!

Was at Sunset Rd just as the sun rose. Cache was in one of the few patches of sun i could find so i could warm up. At 2degs, caching with freezing hands wasnt the easiest! TFTC
Found a beautiful moth on this hiding place, which was good because somebody walking past wondered what I was doing.
Definitely a micro, and had to run to the car to get tweezers to get the log out.

On to this cache after Emergency response and soon reached in and found the sticky cache. All good and off again after listening to the chatter of tiny children the other side of the fence.
Headed back towards my home base today with a few caches over lunch time before the traffic got too bad on the carnage that is Friday afternoon on the North Shore. Only a modest few finds but ticking over and a taster before the weekend comes. Thanks all COs.

Managed a park just down the road and walked back to the cache and made a quick find though I then had to return to the car to get a tott to get the log out.
Out exploring the shore and making the most of the weather before the forecast rain. Such a tricky place to find parking (even on a Sunday), but after finding parking down a side street we made our way back to gz where the cache was located in the first place we looked. TFTC
My GPSr took me to an interesting object. I explored it a bit, then assumed the position so I could look at all angles. A lady, who was walking past, asked if I was cleaning this and I said yes. It was cleaner when I left, so I wasn't lying.
I finally moved over a bit and found the right spot and the cache straightaway. TFTC.

The youngster wouldn’t put his hand in there found the previous version of this cache quick find TFTC
Out and about with the elder Future Finder for a walk in the bush and a spot of cache detection. After our walk we decided to find a few more hides before heading home for dinner. We managed to find a park pretty close to GZ and I made the short walk to GZ. Good coordinates meant that I found the cache in the second spot I checked. Cheers for the cache placement!
Thanks glyn for checking up on this. Nice easy find today and sorry I didn't find it on the grass as time I looked as it could have saved you a trip. Always good to turn a blue sad face into a yellow smiley one.
Well I don't know why I can't find it. Found he pipe, put my hand up inside as far as I could, couldn't find a thing. Looked on the ground but nothing there either. Oh dear, not a good start to the day.
I remember finding the previous hide here not too long ago although this one was completley different. Didnt take long to find this little dude thanks to the great hint! TFTC
I decided to get out today to stretch my legs and grab a few Munzees, I was going to see Wonder Woman 84 and decided to head here as I am not usually in this area. So why not grab a cache too!
Upon arriving at GZ a quick glance around and I saw a likely spot. Sure enough there was the cache, all in good condition. Thanks for the cache #1170

Kiwi and kiwiscot preparing for their first surf life saving patrol for the season, left scottie to her own devices. An opportunity for a nearby FTF could not be missed so jumped in the vehicle and arrived at GZ. Read description and cache quickly located, hurrah, no signature. Signed and popped back to car to sign in " found and LL ", when a person of interest was spotted. Pulled up along side Alunb and agreement made to go after the other nearby FTF. Been a while but nice to have a [FTF] to start the year. Kiwiscots FTF coin visited.
Beaten here by a matter of minutes, then as I'm about to replace the cache I hear a friendly toot toot of a car horn, and an invite to join in the chase for the new cache down by Barrys Pt Rd, so off we go, TFTC
Had made a plan to go with Jan today to North Head so she can do the Ad Lab.
So nice to see some new trads to make our trip more fruitful....
Thanks Glyn.
