Thanks Porkchop6977 for hiding this cache. Now that my calendar and streak are completed, I can just cache for the fun of it. Your Traditional cache, Masons Point, was just what I needed to get me out of the house and exercising. This is my find #2031 at 09:54 on 28/9/2024. FTF: Found with: selfWeather: fairMuggles: noneLight level: goodCache condition: goodDistance from GZ: Your cache was visited by my trackables: TB9QQD2, TB9KZ39 and TB7HH81
Today we headed out for our last day on the Tasman Peninsula and had a few caches to attempt to clear up before we leave. We drove Beryl the Moho to Eaglehawk Neck and then headed out in the Jimny to try and get as many as we could. Some of the puzzles were too hard for my wee brain but other than a dnf at the dog multi we had much success. We have been super impressed with the caches on the peninsula they have really made us think outside the box. Our thanks to all the CO for placing and maintaining caches for us to find, much appreciated .Quick find and sign here TFTC
Going back through and logging our finds from back in May.We thoroughly enjoyed this drive and the little pitstops on the way.
We decided today would be the perfect day for a drive down to the peninsula and we sure enjoyed the area. Thanks for setting up your fine geocache!
I am in Port Arthur to see the sites, and collect a few caches to mark my visit. There are a few caches along the "Arthur Highway" coming from "Eagle Halk Neck". Yet there was virtually nowhere to pull over at most of the cache locations. This "Masons Point" cache was the only cache along this "Arthur Highway" section that had an actual road to pull over for the cache. The hint helped in locating the cache.
Hello Porkchop6977 thank you for the cacheThis one was a nice easy drive by in the company of EeePeesFound on Sunday, 17 December 2023 at 1042**TFTC**
On our long term trip from Germany to Western Australia / Tasmania / New Zealand for about 3,5 month, we arrived Tasmania and picked up some caches. This one was a quick and easy found. TFTC
On my way out of Mason Point to Hobart. First time travellers to Tassie from Singleton, WA. TFTC
Nice drive by which fills a gap in the trail of caches from Eaglehawk through to the Koonya turnoff. Thanks for this one Porkchop. All good at GZ.
TFTC - having a few nights break down the peninsula and settled into our accommodation with a coffee and biscuit.
Then I ducked out to grab one find for the day. Gee, it's windy, with a chill in the air so glad it was a quick find, sign, replace, and skedaddle back to the warm and cosy room.
All is well (perfect) at GZ; just not the right day for admiring views.
Thanks porkchop6977 for this caching experience.
Cheers, EPs.

After 3 years without any substantial travel, using a trip to Tazzie as a dry run in preparation for overseas travel - travel packing, airline protocols, hire car arrangements, accommodation foibles and of course, geocaching withour all our usual gear.
Certainly different to the Peninsula (Bellarine) we are used to, we had a great day on the Tasman, learning more history of the area than we learnt in school, as we found a variety of caches, such as this one, as we headed homeward.
Thanks to Porkchop6977 for adding this cache to the gameboard.

Nalezeno společně s Radoshordos během měsíčního výletu do Malajsie, Singapuru, Bruneje a Austrálie, kde byla hlavním cílem celého výletu Tasmánie. Singapore se zároveň stává mojí 39. navštívenou zemí a Austrálie mojí 40. navštívenou zemí.
Keš jsem našel během chvilky společně s Radoshordos. Děkuji za přivedení na další zajímavé místo a za další bod do sbírky.
Zdravím z České republiky.
Found it during a one-month trip together with Radoshordos to Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei and Australia, where Tasmania's was main destination of the whole vacation. Singapore is also becoming my 39th visited country and Australia my 40th visited country.
I found the cash in a moment with Radoshordos. Thank you for bringing me to another interesting place and for the next point to the collection. Greetings from the Czech Republic.

Found this quick easy one with net61 while over in Tasmania for a week on a Geotour from NZ.
A group of us (11) from New Zealand have come over to cache in Tasmania, staying at Hadley Orient Hotel in Hobart for 3 nights. Then later, we head to Launceston for another 3 nights and back to Hadley's for the last night.
Today I am with Glyn-the-only-one or G-2 which ever you want to call him, and Pagenz our tour leader, We're about to arrive at Port Arthur whereby we will visit the old convict gaol with a tour and a cruise boat ride around where the convicts were buried. Ominous and sad.
We accidentally pulled off here, but as it happens, there was a cache here, that's cool! Page took care of the details.

Today we visited the excellent Tasmanian Devil Unzoo to get a close encounter with these amazing animals and their kangaroos. If you're in the area, I'd recommend the experience.
After making a pit-stop at the chocolate factory, we tried for a few caches along the Arthur Highway back towards Hobart.
This was a nice quick find whilst Sandra turned the car around.
Thanks!!

Headed out this morning with RLD4963 and the GeoGSP hoping to grab a few caches before the weather turned too windy. Nice quick find, a few interesting houses being built a bit further down the road.

Today we headed down the Tasman Peninsula to pick up a few caches with Porkchop6977 (the CO himself!) We had big plans to pick up a few new ones and, having a 4WD at hand, pick up a couple of slightly less accessible caches in the area. Somehow the day got a bit away from us and poor old Porkchop only ended up getting one new cache, but we managed to snag an additional half dozen he'd picked up previously.
With the afternoon getting on a bit, we really needed to be wrapping things up, but with this one nearby and being a couple of points shy of a "Science of Discovery" souvenir, we definitely had to give it a try! Pulling up at GZ, there was a pretty likely-looking location immediately apparent, and a brief inspection did indeed reveal a well-stocked cache within.
Still, despite the quick find, it's still an interesting spot. We'll have to come back another time and have a better look around. Thanks for the cache!

Mason is a name I know well. I worked with a Mason back when I first started in travel who went on to the accommodation side of things down this way.
A quick find at GZ, although as we arrived I though the coords weer out compared to the satellite map but when I looked at GZ I could see an extension since the last photo was recorded.
All good at GZ.
Thanks Porkchop6977

Pulled up in the warm and toasty GeoMobile close to this one. A quick duck out and back as the rain was just starting to ease.
(Not great weather to Cache in but fantastic for places like Remarkable Cave and The Blowhole as they were 'performing' with the rough seas [^])
Back inside outta the weather to log the find at 13:24 on TGIF 14 May 2021.
All is in A1 condition in the cache

We headed out today to find a few caches that have been published since we were last down this way., but first we started with two old caches first. Having found Cach's caches and Taranna Forest Walk we headed back to this cache after collecting one at Taranna first. A quick find. Very windy on the bay today. TFTC
While caching in the area we found your cache along the way.
A quick find, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

We decided to head in the direction of Port Arthur for the day picking up caches that have appeared since our last visit and to get one that we have avoided for a long time! A mixture of caches, types and hides. We also managed to end up at the Lavender Farm for a lovely lunch.
This was definitely a quick drive by which is sometimes nice when you have a lot caches on the to do list for the day. All good here.

So happy to be here and looking forward to what we will find.

Parked the car in the nearby layby, which provided beautiful views across the bay. Cache was quickly found and logged. We were then dive bombed by a swarm of wasps so made a quick retreat . TFTC
Quick park and grab on a familiar road. I used to travel along Mason Point Road when it was the main highway. A lovely quiet nook now. Thanks for the cache Porkchops.
