Our trip to the Taranaki had come to an end, and Big Sis. Hubby and I were traveling back home. The problem was that I still had a TB that needed a big enough cache to house I. So I researched and discovered this cache would be perfect. The hint also indicated to me that it should be relatively easy to find. I am getting better! So, all in all, a success story. Log located and signed , TB added to the collection and all was replaced. Oh, I did note from previous activity that the log was quite wet, so I came armed with new ritr paper in a plastic bag. Excellent first cache daughter. Ka pai.
In New Plymouth until the end of the week from Sydney, this was an easy walk across the soccer fields for a quick find. Unfortunately the logbook is soaked and wouldn't take any input from my pen, though I found a texta in the cache to write the note (though it will probably run). Could probably do with a new log in a ziplock bag. Thanks cuzincori.
Whilst on a mission to the Naki with ABCDF4, Squirrel Nutcase and Fap ( Fap & Gap), found this cache, i think the others have said it all.TFTC.
Kings Birthday weekend we are off down Taranaki with Squirrel Nutcase , Fap ( Fap & Gap)

With ABCDF4, eyespyben, and Gap (of Fap and Gap)... A planned expedition into the Taranaki region. All logs were signed with our individual handles, or Team HRP (Huntly, Rotorua, Papamoa) depending on who accessed the logbook first...
King's Birthday Sunday: It rained heavily overnight, and today was marginally better. It took a couple of attempts to find an entry point. There were a couple of dogs scooting about with their owners, but they were too occupied to notice us. Thanks cuzincori. TFTC.

Having had a bit of a slow start to the holiday period, I finally got on the road and out of town (Wellington) and made it to New Plymouth for a few days. The plan today was to collect a number of specific caches in the area. It was a better day than yesterday in terms of finds vs not, with only one DNF, and it was another glorious day of sunshine, easy driving and wonderful bush walks.
This was one of the caches I was able to find, exactly as described. All good here.
Thanks to the CO for placing this geocache and bringing me here.
I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with CO's like this placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.

Nice and dry. Great swag for kids. Glad I had my cut-down gum boots on this morning. Thanks for the cache.
Good find with woolwood9 on the way to Inglewood.
*Thanks for the reason to stop for the cache.*
SL **tm/ww NZ**
Simple but effective - good work on many different types of hides.

Out for a Easter Monday drive. Stopping off to grab c few caches here and there. Once we found the park entrance this was easy. Lost Mr Geco as he fell in a trance over a drone being flown around the park
Only one person in sight but a long way away. After a wander across the field soon reached the shade and quickly spotted the possible spot. Thanks cuzincori for the well placed container.
Road trip today, so decided to do a cache or two in each town to break the trip. Nice find here, plenty of SWAG in this good-sized cache. Loving recording the date - it reads the same way backwards, forwards and upside down (in computer figures) 22022022
Cache is all good. TFTC

Couldn’t search. Why o why given how big the grounds are did the loved up couple have to pick a spot almost exactly where the cache was for their romantic touchie feely picnic. From 100m away I think it may have been clothing optional too but I didn’t wish to get any closer to confirm
Another almost impossibly hot day, so it was good to duck under the trees for this cache. TFTC
The rain let up enough for us to walk across here without getting wet feet today. Cool hide nicely tucked away. All good here. Ticked off another dot day. 2 more 2 go. TFTC
First find for our 6yo. He filled it with treasures for some fellow mini cachers to find. Thanks
Well what a blinking mission that was!I needed to find a cache today as it was a dot day and my original plans of firstly being in Taupo these school holidays (which I canned because I got bronchitis the last week of school and even though I really wanted to go soak in some hot pools, the thought of all that travelling and walking out in the cold air to the pools put me off), I then considered a day trip to Whanganui but the weather put paid to that. So I headed up to Inglewood after checking out what time the farmers protest was leaving Stratford as it was leaving from my road, cool had a bit of time do I was well ahead of it. After quickly locating the cache and dropping off a travel bug I have probably had for far too long (and accidentally leaving a second tb at home), I started making my way home, fully aware from the drive through this morning that there was road works between Tariki and Midhirst. I kept thinking to myself, where this protest? They are meant to be heading up to New Plymouth??!!
I kept thinking about the protest and how I thought I might treat myself to a nice lunch today. I was on the approach to Stratford and could actually see my road when I came to a slight rise in the hill and realised on the other side of it that the traffic was stopped. I slammed on my breaks and only just managed to avoid the car in front of me by centimeters, I had to swerve partly into on coming traffic, I can still hear myself swearing in that short space of time!!. I calmed myself down and sat here for about 5 minutes, I was so close to home but far enough away that had I pulled out into the on-coming traffic line and rushed to my road, I probably would have caused an another accident! I was slightly too far from the nearest driveway to turn around in but finally the traffic moved enough for me to do that, I turned around and went up Monmouth and down Pembroke and it was here I realised that the protest had actually turned south into Stratford and not headed north, it was absolute carnage. Not sure how the farmer's think people sitting in Wellington will care what they are doing here in little old Stratford, would they have paid for my damaged car caused as a result of their actions??!! Yay, let's cause traffic carnage in bad weather, that's a great idea??!!

I had a bit of time to spare while in Inglewood today waiting for time to tick by for an appointment so came to get this cache.

On a road trip today with Mrs Rattll started off in the dark so would reach our first cache of the day as daylight hit. No muggles here today nice find log signed and cache placed back where found. TFTC
This was a very busy park this morning with some soccer going on near by, but fortunately well away from GZ.
The clever little hiding spot was quickly located, and the container fitted it perfectly.
We did a bit of a CITO as we headed from here to the next cache, as we knew it would come in handy
Many thanks for setting this up

A plan was hatched recently to hit the Naki area this long weekend. Nice to get away and grab a lot of our solved puzzles and ALs plus others along the way. Signed logs Team BoP to save room on log sheets.
I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these caches. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers.

TeamBOP are together again for the long weekend. Philip.Perry, McJandals,NZFlossy and myself are heading to New Plymouth and surrounding areas caching. Nice quick find here here.
On a weekend trip to Taranaki with some of Team BOP. Always lots of fun on these trips targeting cache trails, solved puzzles and high favourites. Thanks to all the cache owners TFTC
Team BOP is back on the road this time heading to Taranaki with our sights set on some Labs, some geo-art & everything else in between
Our current incarnation includes Davidson Clan, NZFlossy, McJandals and myself and we’ve signed the cache logs as ‘Team BOP’ to save time and log space. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed the journey as most caches have been found quickly & without fuss thanks to accurate coords and a straight forward placements.
I appreciate there’s a stigma attached to cut’n’paste logs like these so I’ll try to provide cache specific notes retrospectively when I get home. We do genuinely respect the work put into these caches, particularly some of the puzzles, but with a numbers mission like this - the hides start to blur together unfortunately. So Cheers COs, TFTC and most importantly - thanks for bringing us here

While staying in new Plymouth for a few days with M in Law we came out here for an excursion and of course a few of the newer geo caches in the area . There was a few players around on the field but We located this one thanks to the hint , and soon had the cache in hand - lovely looking ice cream ! then it was signed and returned to its hidey hole Thank you for this new cache .
Replacement geocache all ready to be re hidden today but due to a million muggles nearby this won’t be ready till later this afternoon
Heading back to Whanganui now after staying in New Plymouth last night for the Festival of Lights and we were surprised to discover some new caches in Inglewood that we hadn’t got last time.
This was our first stop of the day. All was nice and quiet at GZ. A quick sign of the log and on our way again.
TFTC cuzincori!

nice evening stroll across the park for this one on the way home to hawera after a long drive up to te awamutu to drop of the grandkids.
Saw some new caches in Inglewood so thought we'd go for a walk to kill some boredom these school holidays.
Stroll across a very wet field after last night's rain. Found in second spot I looked. Picked up the 2 TB's and dropped off my 2. Hope the weather clears up as I was looking at doing heaps in the next couple of days.
‘Nature’ is the title and did I get a nature show here I can tell you! When I first arrived a couple where sitting right at GZ all loved up so I thought I’d head off and find another cache and come back, which I did, but the couple was still here giving everyone a nature show. I almost had to go tell them to get a room. But I just stayed in the car and decided to wait it out and answered a few messages and emails until eventually they wandered back to their cars and then they proceeded to have a long goodbye right next to my window...talk about awkward!!!! Finally they left and I could go and attempt to find this cache. A quick walk over and I found it right away. Took a TB and left 2 behind. Great to meet CO once I’d made it back to my car. And after swapping pleasantries and congrats all round I finally made it back home to finish off my baking...did you know that if you leave a half cooked loaf in the oven it keeps cooking and turns out perfect!? Thanks cuzincori for my 4th {FTF} of the day. I’m off for another spa and am seriously thinking of ringing the grandparents to have the kids another night as I need another holiday after today
