We failed to find the original Home View cache, and also failed to find this new one in November 2022, but today, amazingly, the cache was a quick easy find, although a bit of a stretch. However the coordinates would have had us swimming, and for us the cache was 15 metres east of them at S45 11.468 E169 18.979. TFTC

We biked the river trail from Clyde to Alexandra today. Always very picturesque at this time of the year. Before setting out I wandered down to try to find this one. I was slightly puzzled at the start because I couldn’t seem to get within 12-14m of GZ. Fortunately the hint indicated where I should look and it was then a quick find. #6099. TFTC.

A nice short walk along the river and under the bridge from our parking place. I was worried that this was going to be a bit of a hunt as the arrow was pointing way off into the river due to the tree Coverage, but luckily we soon spotted it.

We're fairly sure we've been down this track before, when we failed to find the original Home View cache. Unfortunately today's visit was equally unsuccessful. We believe we found the correct hint objects, about 12 metres from the coordinates, but were unable to find the cache.

Arrived in Clyde this afternoon ready to ride the Lake Dunstan Trail (for the second time) tomorrow. This one sounded fun, so I wandered off dow the path while Mrs KC watched the river. Garmin was all over the place (usually had GZ in the river) but an easy find with the help of the hint.

Coords had me a wee way out, but clue got me close to where I needed to be. Nice spot, tempted to jump in on this hot day, but the swirling waters put me off, as I'm not a good swimmer. Waved to your house, but can't see anyone... what a perfect spot!

26-Dec-21
Took a wee while to work out how to join the track, but after watching the numerous skiers on the river, we soon had the cache. Coords were a little out for us, but hint got us right, thanks
