Very fun, one of the few caches in the area that is actually dry, and so many tradables!
Quick walk in Eskdale Reserve while the cleaner was at home. With gavinjodie. TFTC
Up from oamaru to visit family and walking their dog as they back on to this reserve. No problems finding this but a runner had stopped to pat the dog while I was emerging from bush but didn't seem concerned about what I was doing. Tftc. This one made me smile.
What an awesome cache, love it. Lots of tradables and nice and dry, and even has my friends log still on it.
Haha eventually found the courage to put a swap in after a brief scare! TFTC!
**#19,292**Not sure if Kauri Dieback or the creature at GZ is worse for our ecosystem!A few moments of searching soon had the fun cache hide uncovered.TNLN TFTC
This was a quick cache to spot but it gave us a bit of a fright and we had to look closely and carefully before deciding it was definitely the cache and feeling confident enough to sign the log. This is partly because we were expecting a different type of crock pot but even if we hadn't been it still would have made us jump. Very nicely done. After gaining permission from the guardian we signed the log and returned it to its hiding spot. Our favourite find of the day and a definite favourite point. Thanks kiwiscot19
A crazy wet day to go caching, but we wanted to up our numbers for this calendar date. We continued on in the rain from Truncated to look for the Crock Pot. The hiding spot was the first we checked, but we missed it on the first pass. One of us took a second look and extracted the Croc. NIcely done here, so adding a Favourite point. TFTC
This was a pleasant walk and the cache was a straight forward find for us. Very cute and not what we were expecting but it all makes sense. TFTC
Loved this one - his snappy protector caught my eye and Mr 7 thoroughly enjoyed finding the goodies in the cache. Thanks!
Tftc, found this one a while ago with mum but came back and found again today so I could get that smiley
Great cache
Great cache
Spent considerable time and effort in seeking out replacement parts, finally being successful whilst up in Kerikeri. Returned to GZ only to find our original cache had reappeared! Not entirely sure quite what went on but nonetheless it means "Another Crock Pot Anyone?" is ready to feed the hungry hoards keen to find it...
Needed a cache today for my calendar day and also working from home so really needed to get out and get some exercise. So I decided to head out and grab this cache.
It was a beautiful, foggy morning and the air was crisp, so a perfect morning to go for a stroll, no muggles, no rain and finally an open pathway.
Upon arriving at GZ I spotted something a little out of place, had a look and laughed. There was the cache. Thanks for the cache and the smile this morning. #1248

Finished work and was time to stretch our legs and collect a few more caches. Quickly spotted something of interest but we weren't too sure then the pun hit us and we knew we were right. Thanks for the surprise here not at all what we were expecting.
Nice hide, I think I did find the previous instalment of this cache but I had forgotten the play on words. TFTC
I love returning home to the smell of an all-day crock pot dinner just waiting for me to take a bite. I had the same hope for this cache, but things ended up being the reverse. Very punny! TFTC.
Saw where I needed to put my hand but wasn’t expecting that! Thanks for the surprise and the cache.
My kid found this so hilarious she laughed until she cried Great cache, thank you!
my first go and my first find. funny thing is I walk through that track all the time...( I was probably one of those muggles).
thanks
thanks
Another day, another run, another one of the new caches found along this path. I found the previous incarnation of this cache, so knew what to expect. Thanks!
Hahaha - a little bit startled when I grabbed this one blindly & in a hurry with lots of muggles walking the track.
Out and about with the elder Future Finder for a walk in the bush and a spot of cache detection. We parked up on Laurderdale Road and entered the trail network. After finding "truncated" we continued along this section of the track. Again, it took awhile for the GPSr to settle down under the tree cover. However, this time it didn't delay the find as I followed my nose and made a quick find here, of the well camoed cache. We dropped a TB. We decided to follow the track out to the road and take the roads back to the car, to extend our walk into a nice loop, of sorts. Cheers for the cache placement!
After lunch with Merlot58 and Supernannny we headed out for a shady bushwalk on a hot and sunny Summers day. S/N had already found this one, and was not giving anything away as we headed to gz discussing the various possibilities of cache hide this could be given the title. We followed the short geotrail off the main trail to gz, and it wasn't long before Merlot had located this one. Loved the creativity here so FP given.
Heading to this from Truncated we discussed a few possibilities of what we would find here. Co-ords were spot on so found in the first place I looked. I think a slow crockpot would be advisable here, FP for the fun cache
Was out for caching Thursday today with nette1234.
We saved these new ones for last.
Ha ha ...had been curious as to what to expect after reading previous logs.
This was in the first place Jan looked....although she initially quickly recoiled and I had to take over!
Funny....good job here team KWS .
Take a fave point....

Continued down the trail and this one definitely took the longest although this one was very well hidden among some natural camo and the name of the cache all comes to reveal itself once you find the cache! Loved this one. Fp given! {FTF} #6. TFTC
I had meet up with my good mate Handyandyman in the city for a beer or two after work before we caught the bus back to the shore so we could tackle these fun new caches. The GPS was bouncing around a fair bit here, but after extending our search area, I found the suspicious looking item. I am certainly no cooking expert, but suspect that even after a very long extensive period in the crock pot, this critter would still be a tough item to chew, TFTC
Caught up with good dude Alunb for a beer or three after work. That's about when the fun started ah Alun? Anyhow we got the bus to my place and dropped off the work gear so had another liquid refreshment before catching the bus towards the target area. Well it is Friday ...should have been the 13th as it soon felt like it! Missed the intended stop so had a bit of walk backtracking. I was a mess finding this so just as well Alun was on the ball today. This meaty creature may have some extra vitamins so to speak as looking or is that falling around took on some caching wounds Haha. Great hide and found by Alun. On to the next one. TFTC
