The post indicating to look further was helpful! Nice camo!

11-Oct-24
Love the camo here! The cache was unfortunately being guarded by a very large slug (who needed some persuasion to move) and the contents of the cache are a bit wet and slippery

There were a lot of cut branches at GZ and many other fallen ones as well so we were a bit worried that this cache might have been compromised. We started to search and couldn't spot anything and then a muggle appeared and stopped to call her dog behind her, which didn't come. We pretended to be looking for something in our bag and she eventually rushed off back the way she came, telling us her dog was very stubborn. We continued to look for the cache but realised it might take a while and that the muggle would probably be back soon and would likely wonder why we were still there so we headed off to look for the next cache along the trail. We returned a while later to give this one a second try and when approaching from the other direction spotted something suspicious immediately and found it to be the very nicely hidden cache. We are very short on favourite points and wish we could give one to all the caches along this trail but unfortunately have to ration them. However we can't pass up giving one here. Thanks once again kiwiscot19. Your hides are all so clever.By the way, just in case you are wondering about the muggle and her dog, we never saw them again. So the dog must have won the argument.

18-Nov-22
A crazy wet day to go caching, but we wanted to up our numbers for this calendar date. It was raining, but not too heavily, as we walked to this first cache. Once at GZ one of us made an instant find of this very nicely camoed cache. TFTC

18-Oct-22
Good clue. Not new truncation

18-Oct-22
Lots of fallen tree clean up have been happening around GZ. Easy find though. Tftc

16-Oct-22
After a DNF back in July and the CO checking it was still there I was very keen to change this cache from blue to yellow. Came in from a diff access way and this time the cache was quickly found. Great camo on the cache and always great to avenge a DNF. Thanks for checking up on it and the cache placement.

16-Oct-22
Found after troubles with gps.. We were STUMPED for a while

11-Oct-22
This was our first attempt at this, we were not able to find the geocache. The accuracy of cellphone GPS not the best in the forest, so was hard to narrow down the search area. We gave up after 20min. Any hints, tips would be welcome!

18-Sep-22
Too many fallen trees so couldnt find it

18-Sep-22
Checked and cache still in play. Hide is about 1 metre from path. If you are truly stumped you can ask us for a hint. Happy hunting.

23-Jul-22
Our 2nd dnf of the day and another cache where the gps and the phone wouldn't settle. Looks like some recent felling in the area so not sure if that was where we supposed to look

31-May-22

Tftc really liked the camo on this one, very clever. Took a bit of searching and looked over it too many times but got there in the end

Good find

Moving onto another part of my creek-side exploration and another 3 caches from this part of my walk after moving the car from Shepherds Park area. A careful read of the hint and check of the area had me sighting the cache fairly quickly and extracting easily. All good here thanks ks19.

For the third day in a row I'm out locally trying to knock off clusters of unfound caches before I head south in a few weeks for a change of job. I targetted the area near Beach Haven, along the Oruamo area which despite now having a kayak to attempt the T5 caches there, seems time will preclude any real attempt (though I remain ever hopeful). The caches were mostly hides from kiwiscot19, and really inventive with camo and delivery, and a couple of other caches, thanks to all COs for your caches today.

17-Oct-21
Kay found it! Nice!
Thanks

08-Oct-21
Nice hide, it was of a spur of the moment hint for us so we had no pen or swag, will bring some next time now we know where it is.

08-Oct-21
With the easing of the level 3 restrictions I was pleased to hear that we could finally geocache. Today was one of my few remaining calendar days, (the rest are all at the end of August, maybe next year) and I have honestly never been so pleased to have to head out in the pouring rain to have to fill a calendar day.

When I arrived at GZ I saw a likely spot and tried to make a retrieve, maybe I was wrong, a tiny bit more force and I heard a noise that made me think I was right. Maybe it was because it hadn't been found in a while. With touch more force I soon had the cache in hand. It is all in good condition. A great hide! Thanks for the cache #1263

Lots of goodies in this hiding spot

28-Jun-21
What seems out of place

27-Jun-21
When we got here, the dog from earlier was just on its way back but at least it wasn't wet any more. Spotted the potential cache straight away, so grabbed it once the dog (and its owners) had gone on its way.
Signed both of the cache logs inside, but then had trouble getting both of them back in.

26-Jun-21
Plenty of trunks in this part of Eskdale. Spent quite some time here and went way too far off the trail but we found this nicely cameoed cache eventually.

21-Mar-21
I’m not sure I found the correct cache as I found the original one I signed a year ago?? TFTC Smile

20-Mar-21
As I walked down the steps, I felt I had been here before. Must have been déjà cache.

Anyways, I got to GZ and spotted something that needed to be examined. Guess what? TFTC.

08-Mar-21
Another well made cache. Thanks for an interesting series.

06-Mar-21

14-Feb-21
Another nice hide!

14-Feb-21
Out and about with the elder Future Finder for a walk in the bush and a spot of cache detection. We parked up on Laurderdale Road and entered the trail network. After finding Norma D we turned around and headed along this section of the track. Again, it took awhile for the GPSr to settle down under the tree cover. It didn't help that I had the wrong idea about the nature of this hide. But it didn't take too long before I spotted the camo and then made the find. Cheers for the cache placement!

11-Feb-21
Gee - the council have done a lot of work on the track through here! I came though on my run this afternoon and found this cache. Nicely done. I'll leave the other new ones as targets for future runs - thanks!

04-Feb-21
After lunch with Merlot58 and Supernannny we headed out for a shady bushwalk on a hot and sunny Summers day. We really appreciate all the track maintenance in the area with upgraded tracks and new bridges. This cleverly camoed cache was found in the first place Merlot58 looked.

04-Feb-21
I met up with Supernanny and Mrs Jag for a bush walk this afternoon to get out of the hot sun. A nice quick find in the first place I checked

17-Jan-21

Another new one on the track here today....Nette1234 was also first to spot it....
Enjoying these new kiwiscot19 hides....many thanks.
Tracks were pretty busy today...enjoyed the new boardwalks.

15-Jan-21
Continued down this nice Bushwalk and remembered the old hide here! I spent ages looking and nothing was found. This morning I looked in the first spot I checked last time and it was there! Great camo on The container. {FTF} #5. TFTC

15-Jan-21
Another brilliant camo job, which I pointed out to my mate Andy as we approached while walking along the trail this evening after work, TFTC

15-Jan-21
After the adventures of the previous cache Alun spotted this one from afar so a relativily quick find. Yup the MO is similar to some other KS19 caches as Alun pointed out. Well done due! TFTC
