Out and about with My two caching friends Omegaman1971 and Tiz13 on another Map clearing adventure, today was the Northern Suburbs, I have to say that Fawkner was an eye opener and a shock. This is one of the caches found today. Had done this lab some time ago but the place was in use and people were sitting on GZ, today the coast was clear and the cache was soon in hand. Thanks Jarwillo for the cache.
Out with Rebel Acts and Omegaman1971 today clearing some more of the board, our destination was the Northern suburbs of Vic where i grew up ..it was a bit of a shock to the system especially when we stopped for lunch...our idea of a bakery didn't appear to exist ...we targeted a mixed bag of caches that the 3 of us had not yet found including this one.
Omegaman1971Support Your Local VillainLive - Laugh - LurkFirst To Find: 206Sidetracked Cache Finds: 141Out with the gang, putting some smiles across the map and aiming for my 15,000th find today!Kicked off early to beat the heat. Thanks for the cache!
15 November 2024 18:57 dalerious and I enjoyed the walk around doing the adlab then locating the bonus. We also enjoyed watching someone having a ball with his remote control car in the velodrome. Those things have got some get up and go!He stopped having fun when he crashed the car and wheels and other parts came flying off the machine. We heard him say, "well there goes another $400."What happened to the price of toys today?Thank you jarwillo for the adlab and bonus.
Found with catnap777 @ 7:05pmOur weekend was based around hunting down a new Georig. We checked out a couple of car yards, and went for a couple of test drives, but walked away empty handed and went Geocaching instead. We didnt walk away from here empty handed though having found exactly what we came here for, and it was in much better condition than the cars we were looking at, or the one we watched near GZ.After following the art and exercise trail for the adlab, cat' and I wound up at the Veledrome looking for red numbers just in time to witness a spectacular car crash. It was only a radio controlled model flying around the curcuit, but it was faster than any I had seen and fell apart better than any other too. Its opperator was not so impressed.TFTAdLab & BonusCache Jarwillo.
Did the Adventure Lab ages ago but never got around to the bonus cache.Out with Willywombat27 today who hadn't done the Adventure Lab. Revisited that with her then we did this bonus cache together
Yay! I would never have seen this area if it werent for the lab/cache! TFTC!
After a very enjoyable and interesting walk around the area, looking at the art, and finding some hidden 'gems' I was very glad to eventually obtain the final coordinates and therefore locate the well hidden log.The velodrome was being well used by walkers and their dogs, who were enjoying a free run on the grassed area.Thank you Jarwillo for the Adventure Lab and this bonus cache.
Spring Victorian Incursion 2024.Day Six: Merri-bek (which ProjectGC is still calling Moreland at this point).Weather: the wind was back briefly, but generally a great day.I enjoyed the Adventure Lab as I dont really know this part of town at all. This was an easy bonus at the end. Good grip on the magnet, or am I just getting feeble? In any case, my name is in the log. Thanks for the Adventure Lab and Bonus Jarwillo.
Fate a quick tour around the area doing a few caches and this AdLab I finished and was glad to see the location was not too far away. Would be fun riding around this velodrome but maybe when I was a bit younger. Thanks for the Adlab and the bonus cache jarwillo.
Good adventure but Velodrome needed 2 visits to find those tricky numbers then a process and cache foundTFTC
Well after my two weeks away to Tasmania and then to SA for the Leap Year Mega Im now back at home so it is back to suburban caches after work to try and beat my last streak of 67.It is just a personal challenge that Im working on.After completing the Ad Lab in the area last month it was time to come back here as I could not look for this one due to a few muggles right near GZ.I completed another lap of the track and then went looking for this one.I checked a few spots then soon come up with the cache.I added my name to the log and now to head on home. Thanks Jarwillo TFTC.
TFTC after long walk to find last answer. Make me realise that I had a bit difficult with colour of red but I am enjoy with AdventureLab
Thanks for the AdLab and the bonus Jarwillo. I enjoyed my walk around this area with such lovely artwork. This was the first time I'd seen the Coburg velodrome as I'm so used to the Brunswick one. TFTC
It’s always nice to pick up a bonus cache after an excellent AL. Thank you Jarwillo for placing and maintaining Exercise and Art in Coburg - Adventure Lab bonus for us to find today.
I did the Ad Lab ages ago, but for some reason, didn't get this. Been pit today to a nearby CITO and thought I'd get this one too.
I had a terrible time mainly having to guess answers for the Adventure Labs. I think the last one was a diabolical plan to force me to walk the entire inside circuit of the velodrome. It was lovely seeing people of all ages using this well maintained facility. I still have no idea where the bees are!
At the velodrome a whole family did circuits to help solve the problem. It turns out they are a geocaching family, Gegandgig. They started many years ago and only have about 20 finds, but they were happy to help me and in doing so, and finding this cache, it sparked interest in geocaching for all the children. We might see them back in action soon.
Despite have trouble at almost every waypoint I enjoyed the whole experience. Thanks for the fun.

Wow, I can’t get over how steep the track is! I need to take my little Geokid to this little pump track. It is amazing.
Did this Lab months ago but finally got back to get the smiley face. Remember loving the art, and always love sitting above a banked track. TFTC.
We found this cache today at the end of the adventure lab today. The nearby kids cycling area was being well used but the velodrome not at all today. Thanks from D & HA B-A
Find it and sign the log as EV, and thanks for the cache and hunt.

I had completed the AdLab ages ago, but had not been to this area for ages.
I remembered it after the local CITO, so made my way back here.
An easy find, as I met n0w0rries at GZ!
Thanks, Robmc.

Our second geocache after thee we nearby AdLab with a lot of walking in this old industrial area. This would be a fun ride when no one else is on it. I bet olthomas would love this track.
Thanks for the hide & Jarwillo

I completed the very interesting Adventure Lab yesterday but it was today that I had the time to look for the bonus cache. It was a quick find but I had to wait, before retrieval, for a couple of muggle walkers to pass by. All was well with the cache and thank you for the journey I have made through Coburg Exercise and Art.
I really enjoyed the adventure lab and was delighted when I found that there was a bonus cache. It did not take me long to sniff it out and sign the log.
woolwood9 & I had a very nice time exploring the city and visiting a few Virtual caches, Adventure Labs and Earth caches today.
Thanks for showing us interesting locations and history of the area.
Found this bonus cache - quite soft ground around the area after all the rain.
Hint helpful. SL *tm/ww NZ*

Thanks for the exercise Jarwillo
Thanks for the exercise Jarwillo
Suscoe was in Melbourne today for family business.
It was a delightful day with sun and some cloud and a mild temperature.
Autumn days are the best when they are like this one.
Thanks to jarwillo for this Adventure Lab and bonus.
We were amazed by this area, don't drop by here very often at all.
Some amazing scenes to take in and the local park with all the kids toys was amazing.
A really interesting end to this wander.

Really enjoyed the tour and the mosaics are very well done, thanks for highlighting them and thanks for placing the cache Jarwillo.
Found by Mary and David at 17:10. An amazing Ad Lab, plus this bonus. We don't know this suburb at all, so enjoyed everything the area had to offer. A FP too for so much variety. Our thanks to Jarwillo.
When I was doing the Adventure lab here I wondered if the bonus would be there, and it was. Many thanks for the Adventure labs Jawillo.

After a fun pre-Cristmas gathering with family members, at the Coburg Lake Reserve, this is one of the caches we found as we headed homeward.
on completion of the Ad Lab, it was a real bonus to be able to log in here so quickly.
Thanks Jarwillo for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Crossed over to this side of town to pickup a new bike rack for my new geoEbikes and what the hell, lets grab a couple of geocaches whilst I here
I did the Lab Adventure cache some time ago but I'm not quite sure why I never did the bonus cache, maybe I was saving it up. Anyway, here I am and my name is now on the log sheets
**Thanks for placing this cache Jarwillo**

Thanks for the Bonus cache. Certainly an interesting area to explore with the lovely artwork. And a fitting place for the bonus hide. I felt like I’d had a bit of a workout, as for some reason I didn’t take the shortest distance between two points! So the opportunity for a sit down was well received TFTC
Finally able to get out and find a cache or two. Might even manage to earn a souvenir.
A nice easy final to an interesting AdLab.
Thanks for bringing us here today by placing this cache, Jarwillo

Went to another cache and it was in a park right near all the kids playing, so aborted and decided to grab this one. Completing the Lab ages ago it was about time I grabbed the final, compass was all over the place, but eventually found
Thanks Jarwillo for Exercise and Art in Coburg - Adventure Lab bonus

Nice quick find at the end of a pleasant but brisk walk. I will get my 10,000 steps today instead of sitting Infront of a screen, which is a fantastic thing. Tftc
I'd finished the preliminaries for this in the rain and figured that I'd leave the final for another day. By the time I worked out where GZ was though, the rain had stopped so I mosied on over for a nice quick find at 15:45. Boy that's one strong holding mechanism.
TNLNSL. Thanks Jarwillo.

An enjoyable tour of the local street art, before I had the coordinates and grabbed a quick find. Thanks for showing me this velodrome, which I was unaware of previously. Cheers!
This was the first Adventure Lab we have done and knew the area and some of the items along the way. Let's say Bees got us a little with our count down by 1 but were able to get it right in the end. It was very quiet and dark when we did it. Thanks Jarwillo for introducing us to this type of cache and something to do while exercising in lockdown 4.0.

The lab cache was interesting and a pleasant walk. I took a while working out a couple of the answers but eventually worked them all out. This cache was a nice bonus and gave a good view of the last stage of the lab cache. TFTC.
TFTC! The fifth clue was a lot more effort than the rest and hate to say we spent too much time on it! In the cover of darkness and torch lights we managed to find it only after short while. Would of been easier either daylight!
Found at 3:26 pm.
Fleabag- had an errand to run near this area so of course we spent a few hours finding some caches. The weather held out well today and was nice for cruising around on the scooters when we could.
After admiring some nice art it was then fun to ride the scooters around the velodrome. I stupidly rode right up along the edge and didn't realise how steep it was and managed to just grab the fence before I slipped down. It's a steep velodrome that one.
Thanks Jarwillo for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

A few errands out north today Spiffy- my geopartner and I pack the car with the scooters with some freestyle caching in mind.
Enjoyed this trail and AL. Bonus cache quickly located and all in good condition.
Thanks to Jarwillo for the placement and fun.

A bonus cache is a lovely way to complete an Adventure Lab and even better when it’s not too far away. Enjoyed the adventure even if we did have to thread our way through a children’s party near the BBQ TFTC Jarwillo
Out and about with echidna44 and au.fait for a day of caching. Long time coming due to lockdowns. Nice little walk to pick up the clues. 4 were easy but the 5 needed a little more effort. So nice to see so many people out enjoying their freedom. Thanks for the lab effort jarwillo
Out with xambo4u & au.fait, we had a very successful day caching in the Coburg area. What a great Adventure Lab Cache, delightful things to find along the way and an easy bonus cache to finish.
Thanks Jarwillo.
Thanks Jarwillo.
#10445 - 10:00; Completed the AL and collected this bonus as I headed to the geodaughter's place to collect the geohound for a trip north for a visit. Entertaining and interesting little stroll through the suburb! TFTC Jarwillo
Today we found Exercise and Art in Coburg - Adventure Lab bonus on our travels. We are out and about in the northern suburbs collecting a few Lab Adventure series
Thanks Jarwillo for being part of our geocaching fun.

I needed to get out of the house... and this bonus cache was a good incentive to hit the pavement.
Getting to the coordinates, I could do in my sleep, so navigation in the dark was not a problem. Not that it's particularly dark in the burbs any more.
Speaking of the coordinates: it was immediately obvious where I needed to look, as there aren't a huge variety of options. This still left a reasonable amount of real estate to check by torchlight, which was definitely slower than it would be in daylight.
Jarwillo, a fitting finish to the Adventure Lab. Now I'll walk home past all of those and reminisce. Thanks for a fun **2TF**.

I had been out all day and just arrived home when I noticed an alert for a New cache in my area. It was a bonus for an adventure lab and I thought it was a little late to do it, until I realized I had completed it on one of my many local walks last year. As I had already completed the adventure lab the journal hadn’t updated with the coords straight away. I contemplated just going for a search and climbing something based on the hint and the journal photo. Thankfully the coords in the journal came through before any crazy climbing occurred as it was definitely not required.
Under the cover of darkness I set off to GZ. Making the quick find, I opened the cache to find a fresh clean log!
Thanks Jarwillo for the adventure lab journey and for this cache.
