Managed to convince master 2 to bike most of the way here, pity the same cannot be said for the way home! Found the needle in the needle stack with the help of Andy.gail TFTC
Have removed cache and am archiving as there appears to be a boundary dispute with the placement of the rest area. Safer to archive the cache and not subject future finders to any problems with property owner.
A quick drive out Mapua way after work to pick off a couple of caches.
No riders resting here which gave me amble opportunity for a search all around.
After a few minutes of hopping between rocks I stood to have a think of where light it logically be hidden. As I surveyed the scene I spotted a rock that looked a little out of place and yet ever-so-slightly ‘familiar’.
Bingo!
Thanks andy.gail

Found with Ulmuslyn on this cool day Quick search around and it wasn't long before we were signing the log. Great hide Thank you for the cache
Take a seat . If I'm not mistaken, that's exactly what happened here - - - taken from Trafalgar street is my guess if no-one comes up with a better idea. Perhaps these were early versions that turned out to be unsatisfactory and were replaced.
I parked as suggested, walked down the road and met someone running up the road. I was aware as I searched for the cache that he could return at any moment so I listened out very carefully. As it happened I was sitting down with my back to the road signing the log as he returned. I doubt he gave a thought to what I was up to.
Anyway, thanks for the cache. Greatly appreciated .

I've only walked from chaytor rd so I don't know that I deserve a rest... But I took a seat anyway, and looked around. I chose the right spot and found the cool container. Now to double back for a stroll on the chaytor track.
Thanks very much!
Thanks very much!
Out on a caching expedition hunting for wonders of the world.
Drove past the CO’s house and found this wee resting place. Quite cool Did TDC really dream this up? Surely not.
I took a seat and made the quick find.

What a delightful little resting spot. I'm sure the shade would be very welcome on a hot day - today it provided a bit of shelter from the few spits of rain. TFTC # 16,656
Mrs SoBad had signed the caches today with the wrong date (March 1) but clicked before this one so it should have the correct date. February has not been so bad that we need a rest from it - but we do hope for summery weather in March to make up for the autumnal feel we have been getting in February. We have ridden past here before but today it was the safe park and walk option taken as we see most have.
Thanks.
Thanks.
With a busy few days ahead we still had time to grab a cache and this was the one we chose. Only a very short walk from safe parking and we were soon signing the log.
Thank you andy.gail.
Thank you andy.gail.
We passed several times and each time we said another day. Today we simply were not going to pass but going there. So we parked as suggested and took a seat. With ample hint items around they were quickly narrowed down to one and the cache was soon in hand, finally! Mission accomplished and back to the daily chores. Thank you andy.gail
Nice one! I took a break this morning to pop out to find this cache. Parked in a safe spot and walked along to GZ. Found the cache in a logical spot as per the hint. A pleasant spot to sit and sign the log before returning the cache as found. TFTC, Biggles.
Quick find on a hot day. Tried to get some other caches but went down wrong road. Will come back for the others
FTF was sitting at home watching the woman's cricket trying to get motivated to do something. Too many choices of directions to go, an FTF is one way to force a decision. As I ran down to the car I text Nanzie to get her shoes on and picked her up on the way past. A nice easy find and blank log book. It was only a couple of days ago I decided to stop worrying about the monthly FTF streaking and putting pressure on myself to achieve it and just have fun finding them when I can but guess the streak is continuing. Thanks andy.gail
