Penny Hot Springs, Redstone Colorado along Hwy 133 appr hwy marker mile 55.
This hot spring is located in the Crystal River, Rocks have been placed in a circle to make a nice and relaxing bathing/soaking area. I did not get to enjoy the Springs today, but the bathers that were there today said it was 105 degrees.
My GPS had an accuracy of only 250 ft, due to bad weather and the steep walls.

Sure, the highest or one of the highest hot springs (about 4300m over the sea level) near the Tatio Geysers and volcanos in the Atacama desert, Chile.
Found this really hot spring near the village Bietzen, part of the city of Merzig in the Saarland county, Germany. It is a thermal spring. The water is transported through a pipeline to the thermal spa in Merzig ("Das Bad"), where you can take a wellness-bath into it.
The Steep Ravine Hot Springs are just north of San Francisco, near Stinson Beach, California. The Springs are accessible only when there is a negative tide (high waves can also affect them). They can be reached from a short hike down a steep path or a longer walk through the Steep Ravine cabins, which is part of Tamalpais state park. They are just north of the beach area that is found there, and local users have left tarps to help form pools for bathing.

Just one of the many hotsprings dotted in and around Steamboat Springs, Colorado -- just before the snow started to fly!
Steamboat Springs has quite a collection of hot springs, including a little tour. We chose the Soda Spring, a kind of pathetic little hot spring that has declined due to construction in the area.

Located in Ogden Canyon in Utah.

This hot springs originally was known as Colter's Hell. But it was also know as Demaris Hot Springs and was operated as a spa outside of Cody, Wyoming USA. It has switched owners and is now closed to the general public
Cottonwood Hot Springs is about 5 miles west of Buena Vista, Colorado. Had a great day here, soaking with the family.
VRIDLO = THE HOT SPRING
Temperature: 72°C / 161,6°F
Spring discharge: 2.000 l/min.
Location: Karlovy Vary (Carlsbad) - West Bohemia (Czech Republic)
The Hot Spring became not only symbol of the largest Czech bath resort, but also its eternally beating heart. Almost everythingthat makes Carlsbad a bath resort depends on the Spring - it provides thermal water for all balneal facilities, supplies carbon dioxide (CO2) for bathtub bathing, provides base material for production of Carlsbad thermal salt and for souvenir petrifying.
The very fountain geysering up to 14 meters high in the Colonnade Hall, which attracts attention of all visitors of town, is only one of the branches of the Hot Spring.

There are a number of hot springs in the Jemez Mountains of New Mexico, and they are all unclaimed. We had hoped to stop at several, but our timing was poor. We drove up into the mountains just as a series of violent thunderstorms came through. So, we did not get to any of the springs that require hiking, just this one. This is Jemez Hot Springs in Jemez Springs, NM. There is a good bit of information about the springs and the Bath House there at http://dev.byways.org/browse/byways/2061/places/31419/. The pictures show the spring with large tub under a gazebo (with our GPS) and close-ups of the spring and gazebo. Personally, I don't like this spring, but prefer the "wild" springs up in the National Forest. More information on those springs can be found at http://nis-www.lanl.gov/~dallas/sers/springs.html. San Antonio Hot Springs are a particular favorite, because they are not so crowded, and are clothes-optional.
This hot spring is by Plymouth Utah. When I was a kid it was called Belmont Hot Springs now it is privatly owned. It is now Camperworld Hot Springs. Could not get to close but here are some far away pictures.
We just returned home from our 19-day trip out West, and so I am catching up on my logs. We found the Fairmont Hot Springs in (where else) Fairmont, British Columbia. Several hot mineral streams came out of the rocks on the hillsides, and flowed through various little ponds in route to their destination. These ponds were open to public bathing, and we did see one couple taking advantage of this opportunity (with suits on).

This Hot spring is located in Larderello, in the Pisa provence ,Italy.
The natural resources of the region of Lardello (lagoons, fumaroles – natural emissions of gas and vapour from the earth, produced under high pressure and at high temperatures – and hot water springs) were already known to the Etruscans and the Romans, who used the boric salts for pharmaceutical purposes and for the preparation of enamels. In the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, the waters were used for medical purposes

This is Avoca springs located in Kansas. The sign reads that the Donner party stopped here on their journey west in the early 1800s. Right now there is very little water running from the springs due to the drought in the area. We found this while doing a cache in the area.
These hot (or warm as there called) are in a small town called Genola in Utah USA. They have been closed to the public for about 3 years now. Due to the low amount of rain and snow we have been getting the last few years they have become unheathy to swim in.
Thanks for the cache

The famous (to the SF BAy Area) Orr Hot Springs spa in the hills between Ukiah, CA and the Pacific Ocean town of Mendocino, CA. Mendocino has been made famous by the filming of many movies and was used for the town of Cabot Cove in the Murder, She Wrote tv series. Angela Landsbury spend several days a year in Mendocino but I doubt that she ever made the one hour trek up the very windy Comptche-Ukiah/Orr Springs Road to get to this little spa. First developed for tourist business in 1858 this spa has been in continuous operation ever since. We used to come here a lot in the 1980's when it was a (and maybe still is?) a clothing optional (usually none) spa with private and communal hottubs and a naturally heated swimming pool. We loved it but times changed and this place has been upgraded to attract the big bucks from the Bay Area. They have installed a higher fence too so I could only get a shot of the creek but hot water is seeping into it from the bank on the left side.
Pah Tempe Hot Springs, locally known around Hurricane, Utah as "The Hot Pots" have been used for about 50 years. They consist of several grottos with increasingly hotter water. Since the new pipeline went upriver from the site, the water has decreased in heat, but not in sulphur smell. It was sold last year, and the new owner has not reopened it. Hopefully in the near future. . .
Upper Geyser Basin, Wyoming
Upper Geyser Basin has the largest concentration of geysers and springs in the world with more than 150 geysers in an area just over 2 miles long and 1/2 mile wide. More info here: http://www.wyojones.com/upper.htm
We visited a number of them while we were there, and we are logging Chinese Spring http://www.wyojones.com/upper.htm for this cache. There is a boarwalk that has interpretive signs that highlight many of the springs and geysers in the basin.

Awakeri hot springs is near the town of Whakatane, New Zealand. The springs have been developed into a camping ground and commercial pool. It has changed significantly over the years as my Grandfather used to live nearby and I recall him talking about swimming here as a boy when it was simply a pond in a field.
Australia is a bit short on hot springs, and I see the one near Cairns has already been logged. Paralana is in the northern Flinders ranges in South Australia and was originally planned as a health spa but distance from Adelaide and harsh countryside made it unviable. Since then we have learned more about radioactivity!
Nearest city of any size is Port Augusta. And it's a good few hours drive from there over dirt roads impassable in the wet, but Arkaroola itself where you can stay has some fantastic scenery and great camping or more luxurious accomodation. It is an old farming station that has been converted to ecotourism by the locally legendary Reg Spriggs and his family.

This hot spring is located in Katherine, Nothern Territory, Australia. It's water is a constant 32°C, which isn't too hot, but it is a very nice spot for a swim. It's nice considering that the entire place is approximately 15m underwater for several months of the year during the wet season, as it is right next to the Katherine River.
We went to visit our nearest accessable hot springs in order to log your cache, but it was getting too dart for photos. Attached is a photo of the river bed near the hot springs (which low out of the shingle on the river bed. See the physical cache that I have set up at the site for more pics and other details.
