Couldn't find it in two attempts. We only found something that looked like a piece of white lid with "geo..." on it.Hope it was us not finding it and the cache is okay.
It is so cold this morning that Mr Whippy could have left an actual ice cream here and it would still be frozen. Found the cache in the very first place I looked.
Took a while, read other logs which gave us an idea of what we were looking for. Very yummy, TFTC
Yet another cool cache. So much thought in your caches. Love the camo. TFTC
Probably here but also a lots of grass clippings from muggle house not a find for us today
A wet day but we decided to get out and stretch our legs and collect some caches. Parked nearby and walked along the trail to Sanspit Beach. Didnt find this cache in the first two places we checked. Took a different approach and spotted something. Loved the cache container. Had to get some help to be able to grab it.

Another one ticked off after having some muggle trouble back in January, no trouble this time and soon has it ticked off, often licked and never beaten... I did refrain from licking the cache...

This was a fun cache to find, there were some ladies chatting away not too far away but they didn't notice what we were up to. Great cache container. Thanks
I have deleted some logs,
as you cannot find something that was clearly not there, missing, and claim a find,
as I did also forget to disable it after checking, way before it was logged found, while I was making a new one,
another log was deleted that had a photo as well in log description of what catch actually was!,
a real spoiler, it spoils the fun for others as no fun finding it, and they know what they are looking for,
sorry you may re log your find, but "No Spoilers Please",

Sort of found this. All that was left was part of the log and part of an ice cream?
Left them together under the bridge. CO will need to replace it.

In Waiuku then home to West Auckland, after a steam train ride at Glenbrook, 7 caches to maintain and several caches thru Awhitu camp ground to pick up. Been a busy day! Want to get home before it gets dark and really cold and enjoy a cold chard before a hot dinner.
OMG... I forgot my pen, found the cache easily enough and being a considerate cacher I took a foto and sent it to the C.O. It had been a very long day and I was in no mood to repeat my steps. My last cache for the day and being 1 of 2 cachers to log a DNF out of 52 smileys I was very happy to sign this one off. Thanks for the hide today flossy.

I've been spotting 'mr whippy', or at least hearing his tune on a regular basis recently.
Such a temptation!!!
Great to see he's been here too.
Thanks for putting this here

We hatched a plan with Tufty to visit Waiuku for the day to collect as many caches as we could before the rains came down. We parked one vehicle at the beach then drove the other to the far end of the trail to begin the walk along the coast trail.
Cute container here. TFTC

Kiwicouple and I had planned for today that we would try and sign off as many of the Waiuku caches as we could. I was limited to smallish walks as I was trying to 'run in' my new replacement knee. So we brought two vehicles out with the idea of placing one at each end of the walks. This did prove very successful.
If there were trolls there, there would be nothing left.
Cheers for the cache.

Really enjoyed this walkway and locating the caches along the way.
Had to wait a while for the muggles to pass but was then onto my search. Loved this cache so much, my favourite to date. TFTC

7909 In Waiuku to have dinner with my daughter for her birthday and had some time to fill so why not grab some caches. I had looked here before but the area was under development so happy to come back and make the find. Thank you for the placement. This is the last for the day and as it is so hot I will treatment myself to an ice cream
NZ MEGA 2020 (in 2022) road trip - Day 7
Having had a fantastic day on Browns Island on Sunday, another member of Team Done by 1 (RustyNZ) and I arranged to go looking for the Crayola 64 series. Having completed it by mid-afternoon, we decided that neither of us fancied battling peak hour traffic so would do some more caching around this area. It's been about 10 years since I was last here in Waiuku, and this is my first visit here as a geocacher.
The weather made for a very pleasant walk along here this evening. We were strolling slowly by this time due to both being tired by now (R had far better cause than I to feel tired) but this was a part of our day to take things a bit gentler, so we did.
A quick find here today, and a nice surprise with the container. I took a photo of it, but cannot post here as it would be a spoiler. No problems to report, and our names were soon added to the log, before we headed off to the next cache on what would end up being a really long, but worthwhile day. I had my best single day ever with over 100 finds
Thanks for placing this cache. FP given for the container

Lovely location, walked with TwigNZ to GZ and the cache was soon being retrieved from its hiding place.
Amazing cache container, loving what you have hidden for us to find today.
Thanks flossy63 for your hides

Time for another trip to the North Island for Ms_KR and me. Wellington and beyond here we come. Today we toured around Waiuku area and found some new spots to us. It is a hot summer so far!
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Had to stall and walk back to this as there was oncoming walkers at perfectly the wrong time. Well worth the visit. Amazingly solid product in this heat, gets a favourite. Tftc
Oops!, Sorry people I updated new co-ordinates but forgot to up date description,

Met up with Sharkbait at the Boat ramp and proceeded to Mr Whippy to locate,
The Hint was way outa line but on a wider search extracted the cache, signed
and returned.

We had meet fellow cachers ABCDF4 and eyespyben on the previous cache so we decided to head to this cache together and try our luck. The hint was a bit misleading and we had to broaden our search and use the (if I were a cache where would I hide) scenario, we knew the 3 Billy goats gruff like ice creams so M12 did some trolling and soon had the cache in hand.
TFTC and thanks for the help ABCDF4 and eyespyben

Quick find while on holiday with doandhopers at the local campsite. Mr DnH was impressed with the container....... TFTC TNLN
Lovely morning walk with Mrs DnH and Kittycat432. Found hint no hassles, but couldn't find cache, till Mrs DnH had a "Ah ah" idea and there it was. Log signed and replaced. Nice "camo" lol. TFTC

New cache in place, all good to go again, in time for the hot summer days, please be careful with it,
This cache completely needs redoing/homing naming, I had made a new one, but nowhere to actually hide it now, sigh! area has completely changed, so have to move it along to new co ordinates, Planned to walk the trail tomorrow morning to check caches, sunday morning always the quietest, before enabling but TheCoddiwompler came 24 hours early sigh!, and to replace ones I have in possession for maintenance, I am at risk & this lock down got the better of me, lost my motivation with no family around, as most on wrong side of border, But come sunny days things looking better,
Covid-19 level 4 Lock down, caching is NOT permitted In Level 3 or 4, "Stay at Home"
I need to check this and possible replace looking at logs,

Oh dear, my 2nd DNF today! No where I thought was obvious to hide a cache as I have read about in the previous logs. There is a new walkway bridge (which I checked too). Was the cache near that? No workmen nearby today, looks like the job has been done and dusted, maybe the cache too?
I was back in Waiuku to look for caches I missed last time. Here I arrived at GZ to find workman constructing a new footpath. GZ was a construction zone and a number of trees have been trimmed or removed. Workman everywhere so did not look just passed thru. Not sure what effect the work had had on the hide? Will have to come back next time.
A nice walkway we would never have found had it not been for geocaching.
We were pleased the cache was on a part of the trail hidden from the muggle residences so we could search without the need for too much stealth.
We soon located the cache and had a bit of a giggle, Mr Whippy has definitely been here.
Another great hide flossy63, your containers are fantastic.

out with agazo and alunb today, signed log as ana, its nice when a co does that little bit different to other hides, tftc
Out caching with nufrat and alunb in Waiuku, so we had to stop to get the new caches along here. I didn't understand the reference until the cache was found. Nice camo. TFTC.
A friend who has heard me talk, a lot, about caching asked if I could take his family out to see what its all about and show his son the 'treasure hunt'. Waiuku is a shortish drive from their house so I picked this trail to give them a show and tell.
No Mr Whippy here today (although we had promised all the minis an ice cream after the walk). Soon spied the cool camo!
Thanks for the cache.

We continued along the trail and Nette1234 located this cute cache. The attachment came undone so we made sure to reattach it before we left
After reading the cache name we were prepared...
But it was very good all the same!
You certainly have a variety of containers....and more to come I believe.!
Thanks.
Nette1234 had fun finding this beauty!

First day back at COVID Level2 lockdown so a plan was made for a ladies caching day with Merlot58, Supernannny and Nette1234 to visit Waiuku. Thanks to the detailed hint, it didn't take long for Nette to have this one in hand. Really enjoying the variety of hides in Waiuku
