### Cache Maintenance Visit Required please.###This geocache has been brought to my attention as needing an Owner Maintenance visit, as the logs indicate that it is most likely missing, or else some other problem exists with the cache. See the [GCHQ Health Score](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) process. It certainly needs to be checked by the Cache Owner. The cache owner needs to:* Take action to restore the cache or address issues such as correcting the D/T rating, or the posted coordinates.* Re-enable the cache by posting an Enable log* Post an Owner Maintenance log to advise what has been done and to clear any Needs Maintenance attribute that is present. Otherwise :* Post a Note Log to request more time if necessary or provide other information. **Do not use an Owner Maintenance log for this. That is for use only **when you actually do something to repair the cache**. Alternatively:* Archive the cache and remove any remaining geo-litter from the site.In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page to await owner action by ShannonPC and to take it off the playing board to prevent further inconvenience to our Geocaching Community.[Please see the maintenance section of the Geocache Hiding Guidelines.](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance)**I will check back in 30 days** to see that action has been taken by the CO.If nothing has happened, I will conclude that the cache has been abandoned, and, unfortunately, I will need to Archive this cache. *Caches archived because of lack of maintenance/abandonment will not be unarchived.*The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is in good condition and waiting to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches. Please see [my profile page](https://www.geocaching.com/p/default.aspx?u=Balayang) for additional information.Thank youBalayang -GeoffCommunity Reviewer
Missed-ya - looked and looked but could not locate the cache. After all the previous DID NOT FINDS, I would advise anyone else searching to not wast your time.
Lots of muggles around today, so only got a few quick checks in between people being around. But couldnt find anything after a few good looks. Checked the comments and saw its possibly not there either?
Didnt find anything others have commented that theyve only managed to find a single page of the log book so the cache might have disappeared. - or Im blind
Hi ShannonPC. Today I/we attempted to find your meander river deloraine. Unfortunately, one of the following happened and that made us unsuccessful in logging a find :1. Hadnt rubbed all the sleep out of my eyes. 2. Hadnt had breakfast so was concentrating on filling my stomach. 3. Had someone else with me and they couldnt be bothered looking and wanted to leave. 4. Had muggles hanging around waiting for me to leave so they could relieve themselves. 5. Wrong time of day. 6. Wrong time of night. 7. Wrong information given to me about where the cache is hidden. 8. Coordinates out by more than 10 metres. 9. Nobody has blown up the nano factory yet. 10. Too much or not enough water / light / GPS signal. 11. Flat battery in navigation device. 12. Cache has been stolen / muggled. 13. Such a small cache hidden in such a large area (fake rock in a boulder field / pico in west coast horizontal scrub)14. Too far up the tree to reach with the ladder AND the pole. 15. Too far down the hole to reach with a magnet or grabby tool. 16. I gave up looking. 17. I need to be somewhere else soon/now/a while ago. No offence intended! One of these may actual fit my DNF on your cache. All I found was the lid and the small ziplock bag for the log. #12
About the third time we have tried this one, I think we found the lid to the cache but nothing else. Think we will be giving up on this one now.
All I managed to find was remains of the log book on the ground you may want to replace this again!
Thanks for the Cache ShannonPC, frost morning here in Deloraine. There is even Frozen sections on the lakes. We camped last night at the racecourse and it was chilly to be sure, but once a resin and thawed out the Vista was spectacular.Regards from Victourer
Merging my accounts. Found this as Hoterini 7/9/22. Now tracking together with Ambers007 and merging the old finds.
Couldn't get this last night as there were two food trucks and oodles of muggles. All clear tonight though for a quick and easy find. TFTC
Found on an impossibly warm May day. Im not sure what others have found but what I found was intact. It looked small and new so maybe someone has replaced it.A beautiful day and I got to see platypus in the river because I walked along to get this cache so thank you a big favourite point.
TFTC. Was damaged and misplaced. With WayneO who replaced the missing log paper for you.
Big thanks to ShannonPC for creating this cache! Your effort brought an extra spark of excitement to our geocaching quest. This discovery was find number 1,151 for us, marking another memorable moment in our adventure. Living and traveling full-time across Australia in our Coaster Bus, we're always on the lookout for caches to uncover. Currently, we're in Tasmania, planning to explore this beautiful island for around 18 months or so. To see more of our travels, feel free to follow our journey HERE...
Tasmania Trip Day 12. This is my final day on the Tasmanian island. I have two counties left to do and went to visit the two old caches in the Launceston region before making my indirect way to Devonport. The short walks went smoothly and I found enough caches to finish my target of all the counties in Mainland Tasmania. Once I reached Devonport I took a chance to have something to eat and have a rest before lining up to get ion the boat. Not quite as well done here, but we made it. The crossing starts in the rock and roll, unlike the other way. I made it over without any upsetting issues and will head back to Canberra tomorrow.I was now on my way to Devonport, so I was mostly looking for roadside caches along the way. This cache was one of those found around or on the leap day February 29th, 2024 before, during or after the Mega event in Adelaide. Many thanks to all those owners who placed caches that Swampy and I found during our trip from Hobart to the Mega and return home again. There was no log in this cache, I put a spare that I had into it.
I must have found it before vk7hch replaced the missing log roll. So now I don't need to post a need maintenance log. Have stopped in this small park area many a times when visiting Del and red hills. JABs.
Thanks for the cashe. Nice spot by the billabong. No pen so I didn't sign the log.
Our NEW ZEALAND - TASMANIA - AUSTRALIA JOURNEY takes us to beautiful places and provides us with an incredible number of wonderful moments and experiences.Occasionally we also visit a few GeoCaches along the way.On our way to the small town of Deloraine..., we signed the guest book here....Thank you for placing, maintaining and caring snapfish2 from SwitzerlandPS: Translated with the Deepl app
On our way back from Hobart we finally found this cache and turned our DNF into a smilie.A quick find.
In Tassie for the next few months. So many great places to visit and so many different caches to find.Meandering along this countryside and stopped off and made a quick find here in a pleasant spot. Thanks ShannonPC for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
Just a traditional to complete our caching time in Deloraine, before continuing our journey to Launceston. A pleasant spot near the river and some magnificent old trees. SL at 1.22pm TNLN #10,556 TFTC ShannonPC
A quick find whilst enjoying a walk along the river. TFTCCheers,The Hancock Clan
I continued along the river to find this cache it was a beautiful early evening walk. Quick find of a dinky little container. TFTC
Today being the Summer Solstice (21.12.2023), we decided to give it a go and collect the 12 required logs to qualify for the Solstice Souvenir, but in the one day !Very pleased o eventually log this one. On other occasions in the past it has either been under water, or not present. As we are in town to do an ADLab it was compulsory to have another look. Good spot, but it appears the lid does not stay snapped on. needs a weight on top to keep it there and moisture out. Thanks ShannonPC for this convenient cache.
We hunted around for this one for a while without success. Will try this one again when its either been checked by CO or when someone else has found it. Tried with LittleBoo17
Not sure what people think about the tree bits all over us, but who cares. Anything for a smiley
Like the description and nice easy cache. Might have to get on hands and knees.
Beautiful river with a walkway beside it. Deloraine has many cafes and a beautiful place to visit.

###Cache Maintenance Visit Required please.###

I agree that it certainly seems necessary to have it checked by the Cache Owner.
The cache owner needs to:
* Take action to restore the cache or address issues such as correcting the D/T rating.
* Re-enable the cache by posting an Enable log
* Post an Owner Maintenance log to advise what has been done and to clear any Needs Maintenance attribute which is present.
Otherwise :
* Post a Note Log to request more time if necessary or provide other information..
**Do not use an Owner Maintenance log for this. That is for use only **when you actually do something to repair the cache**.
Alternatively:
* Archive the cache, and remove any remaining geo-litter from the site.
In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page to await owner action by ShannonPC and to take it off the playing board to prevent further geocaching community inconvenience.
[Please see the maintenance section of the Geocache Hiding Guidelines.](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance)
**I will check back in 30 days** to see that action has been by the CO.
If nothing has happened, I will assume that the cache has been abandoned, and, unfortunately, I will need to Archive this cache.
*Caches archived because of lack of maintenance/abandonment will not be unarchived.*
The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is in good condition, waiting to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.

No joy today.
Perhaps has been washed away in the floods late last year????
Perhaps has been washed away in the floods late last year????
Team of 5 spent 10+ minutes looking and did not find anything except multiple scratches from overgrown bushes. I hope we’re just incompetent, but it might have been moved, so stay vigilant, next explorers!
Nice quick find but had to wait for the mugglers to all take off such a busy little place. Nice & picturesque by the river.

Trackable has moved on. Stopped by after a quick Reece to Meander conservation Park to see if we can get the rig in.
Left another 5c in the kitty.
