Logs
Add Jgersmum and myself to the list. Had a bit of a look, but also knew from the previous DNFs that it wasn't going to be.
Did not find it but was still a fun look around, I think it might have fallen and been buried somewhere in the snow
Found after a good long day on the slopes! Cache was lying on the ground in the open replaced into logical spot but will need checking. Log paper also very wet but writable. TFTC!
No probs. I moved the car while the others struggled down the stairs. Parked close, stepped out and grabbed the container. Many happy skiing memories recalled, so fav point from me.
Beeba found the cache quickly. It was not attached by magnets any more. One person asked if we had lost something and another was interested but didn't ask. Hope it is OK.
We quickly located the now hanging cache, but in the confined space, struggled for some time to get the lid off. TFTC
I'd love to return here when there was snow. That said, this was a quick find today.
Our last day in Queenstown and NZ so decided to drive up to the Peak, being summer it was pretty quiet just a few workmen and some one launching the glider, After I made the find we drive to the other side of the car park and admired the view thanks for the cache and good bye NZ
Second day of our road trip. Got packed up early before doing a couple more caches in Queenstown before heading to Wanaka via Coronet Peak and Arrowtown.Thank you to all COs for placing for our enjoymentLog book damp but sign-able for now
Easy one. Beautiful day on Coronet Peak. Took the chairlift to the top and found the other cache here as well. TFTC.
#7330Day 5 of our trip after a morning 'luging' around the mountain in Queenstown, decided another walk up a mountain was needed. That new trad up Coronet was calling us, so here we were.Samuel found it dangling - we've reattached it hopefully the way it was supposed to be.... TFTC!!
#7330A nice quick one before our hike up to Coronet Peak, it was freely hanging when we found it so we returned to the obvious spot after signing TNLN SLThanks for placing and maintaining this cache TeamCacheventures
13:50 Found on my way back to the car, after visiting the Coronet Peak summit today.Such a cool place! Did the chairlift ride to the peak and the gondola down.No force anymore, the cache is hanging.Kia ora! Paldies! Thanks for the cache, TeamCacheventures!#10116
Without skis.... We start our ascent of Coronet. We are determined to climb there:) Thanks for the cache and greetings from the Czech Republic.
# #7,018 #----------This was was easily spotted as it was dangling. I tried to get it back in its normal spot but maybe a magnet has shifted in it? I had to leave it as I found it sadly. Nevertheless, a nice container with a great view. TFTC!!! ----------> All geocaches are signed as mmmPIZZA or mPZ
A couple of South Australians exploring New Zealand. Today was a day for mountain biking, for one of us at least. First stop was Queenstown mountain bike park and then a drive out to Coronet Peak. While the other half was doing the bike riding I was finding a couple caches. I had to wait for the right time to find this as muggles just kept getting in the way, including a family who thought it would be nice to sit on the stairs for a while and enjoy the view. Eventually got the chance to grab it. TFTC
It's been too hard to find this in the winter - too many muggles as the main reason. A quick find today. TFTC.
Visited a well-known ski field. Noq covered with dust instead of snow. Admired the mountain bike trails. TFTC
Day 3: QueenstownThe agenda for today for to fly down from Auckland to Queenstown, and cache around the area before heading off to the next stop. This is my second time in Queenstown, and this time, I wanted to visit (and revisit) some of the nicer places in the region, and pick up the new ALs that have sprung up. The weather was pretty good for the most parts, which was a welcome change from Auckland, so things went smoothly despite an early hiccup with the rental car at the airport.(End of the cut and paste bit)Heres the specific log for this cache: Now that we have gotten the rental car, the first order of affairs for the day was to make the drive up to the peak. There are very nerdy reasons why I chose to come up here, but since there is a cache, I might as well pick it up. The cache was found easily enough at the hinted location, and the log signed, but it seems like the magnets have come off the container, and they are now jumping around inside, making the hide a tad difficult to replace. Managed to do so in the end. TFTC!
Not sure about the hint but then I've never watched that franchise. QEF once at GZ though. Stairs were a bit mean after yesterday's epic half marathon, but good to keep moving I suppose. SL TFTC
Found it not in ski season. Slid on a patches of snow. Had a blast!TFTCAngusjthebull
Was dangling in the breeze. It was starting to snow find grains at the time. Tftc
Thanks for placing this cache here for us to enjoy. Not too often I can combine these two hobbies. We had an idea where this one was so waited for lunch time hoping there would be less muggles on the stairs. Still a few people around but could make the find quickly in the second place we looked the cache was dangling there.
Came up to Coronet Peak to do a days skiing and noticed this cache. Decided to wait till lunchtime to do our search hoping for less muggles. Lucky for us it was a quick find even though we still had to wait for a few muggles to pass.
Bluebird day up here today. Hard on the legs. Stairs! Cache safe and sound. Log wet. Added waterproof paper log.
Logbook totally ruined . I hope to goback again this afternoon to put in water proof paper . It was just obviously hanging thete . Good to change blue face to a smiley as I think it was missing when I tried a couple of years ago .
Many thanks fir this cache up here .
A QUICK TRIP back TO CACHE AT 2.30 and I placed a small pill bottle with waterproof log strip inside it as the existing log book is mush so it is now set To go again

Down in the South Island on a roadie from Northland, with Dodge 1923.... interesting history and wonderful views everywhere. Thanks for the hide.
Day 5 on our holiday in New Zealand. Today we explored Queenstown and the surrounding area. We also visited this traditional cache, found it, and signed the logbook.

Grabbed this one after visiting the summit. Thanks for the hide and bringing us here… magnificent views, even as the weather closes in.
A bit of a detour for us on our way to Arrow Town. Lovely spot with amazing views. It must be very different in winter. Nice easy find. Thanks.
I used to work for Coronet Peak nearly 20 years ago… so today was a trip down memory lane… a lot has changed. Luckily this time of year is quiet so the cache was a nice quick find with no muggles around, TFTC!
Found it!
Log damp but signable, tipped water out of container and the magnet fell out!
Night away at Skippers Canyon, peak visit in the morning. Well worth the trip into Skippers but only if you know what your doing and have a good vehicle! Heed the warnings at the start of the road
Very cool area

Nice hide.
So like Cairngorm where we used to ski and so different from Serre Chevalier where we now live.

Such a nice warm day to explore up here. Looks a bit different without the snow.
A sparkling day here but frosty! Only 3 degrees early afternoon. The container was quickly found but it was frozen up and couldn’t open it. Photo taken to send to CO. Thanks Team cacheventures for this quality hide.
I had driven up here to check out the view and was pleased to see a couple of caches on the way. After spending time checking out the view, I drove to the correct level! I was feeling pretty zonked after my soak in the Onsen hot pools, that's my story and I'm sticking to it the sturdy container was quickly located although it took me a lot longer to get that which helps it not go wandering to get out of sight!
A nice quick find thanks. First for the day, and with 1 other car in the carpark, it was quiet.
Ms_KR and I are on a wee South Island break. Today we cruised around Queeenstown. We live in an amazing country, and today was one out of the bag. Glorious, weatherwise and the mountains were just stunning.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Finally I've wrangled some time off work so it's off to Queenstown for a little rest & relaxation... and Geocaching! We were down here for 7 days and even managed to join forces with DavidsonClan on a couple of days. I didn't have a huge hit list - it was mainly just some of the PMGT's I was after - but I made time for many others as well
Just a park and grab here but the view was pretty neat. I watched the sun rise, creeping over the hill and then it was time to go. Cache found quickly and in good condition thanks to accurate coords, a good hint and a straight forward placement.
Cheers TeamCacheventures & TFTC

Nice quick find here. Only one other car in the carpark but I didn't see another soul while I was up here. Funnily enough I am on my way to Paradise and beyond from here. TFTC # 17,978

Small amount of water inside. No longer magnetic, so draped behind a sign. Easier without the snow.
Our car was parked just below so we had to come down these steps to get to it but we had no luck but i did take a photo just up from the top of the steps .
Someone must have taken it it’s under the stairs somewhere but near the bottom stairs and it said I was 0 meters away and I found zip ties under the stairs and a small packet underneath so someone took it
Took a short break from the slopes to pop down and grab this quick one. Thanks for the cache
A quick trip up Coronet this afternoon resulted in a quick grab for us today. TFTC
I got to the car park at the same time as two car loads of muggles then had to sit and wait for what felt like ages while one decided she needed to change her clothes and her companions wait right beside the cache. Quick find once the coast was clear. Thanks TeamCacheventures

After the Skippers Rd drive it was off to the top to have a late lunch at the cafe. Plus there was this cache as well.
It was hanging down by its cord.
Cheers for the cache.

2TF. A lovely crisp morning to be up here at Coronet Peak. It was a quick find and then a cup of coffee to keep admiring the view.
(FTF) #42. Didn’t have too much free time to grab my daily cache (consecutive day #253) today and when this and a couple of other nearby caches were published I figured I’d just go for this as it was the closest. Arrived at GZ and looked at all the possible location a small container could be. Good thing it isn’t a micro! Thinking of the hint I wandered along looking for something along the theme and realised I was getting further away from GZ. Headed back and tried a different approach and soon saw something out in the open. It was very windy up here so maybe the cache had been blown out of its hiding spot? Signed the blank log and tucked it back where it should be hidden. Great views up here. Tftc
